    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perkembangan bisnis pariwisata di kawasan Danau Toba tepatnya di Kabupaten Toba Samosir dengan adanya pembangunan Danau Toba sebagai Monaco of Asia ataupun destinasi wisata berkelas internasional. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, yaitu dengan menguraikan dan menjelaskan hasil-hasil penelitian dalam bentuk kata-kata lisan maupun tertulis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan teknik studi kepustakaan, observasi, wawancara dan penelusuran data online. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pembangunan Danau Toba sebagai Monaco of Asia bukan berarti menjadikan kawasan Danau Toba seperti negara Monako. Monaco of Asia lebih kepada istilah dan penyemangat kepada masyarakat maupun pemerintah agar dapat menyaingi negara Monako karena kawasan Danau Toba memiliki kondisi geografis yang hampir sama dengan Monako. Bisnis pariwisata di Kabupaten Toba Samosir telah mengalami peningkatan yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya minat masyarakat untuk membuka usaha di bidang pariwisata baik dalam penyediaan barang dan jasa yang dilakukan di lokasi wisata. Pemerintah juga telah turut mempromosikan potensi pariwisata melalui berbagai media baik cetak seperti koran dan majalah wisata, maupun elektronik seperti stasiun televisi dan promosi langsung seperti ikut ambil bagian dalam kegiatan pariwisata seperti menjadi tuan rumah dan juga penyelenggara kegiatan. Dampak langsung yang dirasakan bagi masyarakat sekitar objek wisata seperti membuka lapangan pekerjaan, memberi kesempatan bagi masyarakat sekitar untuk menambah pendapatan sehari-hari dengan cara berdagang maupun menyediakan barang dan jasa yang dibutuhkan wisatawan selama datang berkunjung. Dalam mengembangkan potensi pariwisata Danau Toba, kabupaten Toba Samosir memiliki kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan juga tantangan . Kekuatan terbesar yang dimiliki adalah pariwisata alam dan juga pariwisata budayanya. Kelemahan yang dimiliki adalah SDM yang kemampuannya masih perlu ditingkatkan, sarana dan prasarana yang masih perlu untuk dibenahi, dan keterbatasan modal yang dimiliki. Untuk itu perlu adanya kerjasama yang baik antara pemerintah dan masyarakat setempat agar pengembangan bisnis pariwisata di kabupaten Toba Samosir dapat ditingkatkan lebih baik lagi.The study aims to find out how the business tourism in the area of Lake Toba in Toba Samosir regency, with the development of Lake Toba as Monaco of Asia or a tourist destination of classy international community.     The aim of this study was to analyze the correlation of student’s breakfast habit to nutritional satus and academic performance. A cross sectional study was conducted in this study. Subjects were 35 female student and 35 male student. The result showed that male student (77.14%) and female student (85.71%) have normal nutritional status. The level of nutrition knowledge of male student (82.86) and female student (82.86%) were classified good. Breakfast frequency of female student (65.71%) more regular than male student (51.43%). Most of subjects were don’t have enough time to breakfast. Energy and protein adequacy were 25.25% and 18.26% from breakfast. Subjects academic level (58.57%) were classified as good category. Spearman rank correlation showed a not significantly correlation between nutrition knowledge and nutritional status (p>0.05). However, there was a significant correlation between breakfast and academic performance (p<0.05

    Penerapan metode diskusi dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa siswa aktif dan termotivasi dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode diskusi. Motivasi siswa dalam belajar melalui metode diskusi berangsung-angsur menunjukkan perubahan positif dimana pada siklus I nilai motivasi tertinggi adalah 85 dan nilai terendah 50 serta nilai pengetahuan dengan rata-rata 72. Dan pada siklus II nilai motivasi tertinggi adalah 95 dan terendah 75 serta nilai pengetahuan dengan rata-rata 80. Penerapan metode diskusi dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar PAK Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Sipoholon Tahun Pembelajaran 2018/2019. Kata Kunci : Metode Diskusi, Motivasi Belaja

    The aim of the study was to identify the morphological characters and kinship of sugar palm plants in Toba Samosir Regency through leaf characters. This research was conducted from March to May 2023 using a survey method based on the IPGRI descriptor guidebook (International Plant Genetic Resources Institute, 1995) with purposive sampling and accidental sampling. Based on observations of local varieties of sugar palm plants, there are different characters, namely the edges of the leaflets (flat and serrated), the tips of the leaflets (tapered and split), the color of the lower surface of the leaflets (gray, brown, and grayish brown), petiole colors (grays, greyish browns, and browns), and rachis colors (brownish greens and light greens). The results of this study indicate a wide variety of characters tested and the closest kinship value is 0.000 at TP2 in Tinggit Ni Pasir Village and PN3 in Pardomuan Nauli Village, SR3 in Sibarani Village and PN1 in Pardomuan Nauli Village, SR1 and SR3 in Sibarani Village, JD2 in Jangga Dolok Village and SR2 in Sibarani Village, TP1 in Tinggir Ni Pasir Village and SR1 in Sibarani Village, AH3 in Ambar Halim Village and TP3 in Tinggir Ni Pasir Village, HD2 in Halado Village and TP2 in Tinggir Ni Pasir Village, AH2 in Ambar Halim and TP3 in Pagaran Tinggir Ni Pasir Village, AH1 and AH3 in Ambar Halim Village, JD1 in Jangga Dolok Village and AH1 in Ambar Halim Village, HD1 and HD2 in Halado Village, LR1 in Lumbanrang Village and JD2 in Jangga Dolok Village, LR2 in Lumbanrang Village and JD1 in Jangga Dolok Village with a total coefficient of 0.000. This research is motivated by problems that arise in class, namely children are less able to recognize number symbols properly because the child's cognitive abilities have not yet emerged, so that the facilities at school to recognize numbers are minimal, as well as the recognition of number symbols is less attractive. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using snakes and ladders media on the ability to recognize number symbols for children aged 5-6 years at Mandiri ABCD Kindergarten, Sipoholon District. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research method. The population is all children aged 5-6 years in Mandiri ABCD Kindergarten, Sipoholon District, totaling 108 people and a sample of 20 people is determined using a non-probability sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. Data was collected using a closed questionnaire consisting of 23 items. The results of the data analysis showed that there was a positive and significant influence on the use of snakes and ladders media on the ability to recognize number symbols for children aged 5-6 years at Mandiri ABCD Kindergarten, Sipoholon District.     Efektivitas Pemberian Puding Kacang Kedelai Dan Rumput Laut Terhadap Kadar Kolesterol Total Pasien Hiperkolesterolemia Di Puskesmas Sekip Palembang

    Hypercholesterolemia is a condition when blood cholesterol levels increase above the normal range (200 mg/dL). Patients with hypercholesterolemia can benefit from reducing risk factors in a number of ways, one of which is by incorporating dietary fiber-based products into the diet. It is known the effect of giving soy bean pudding and seaweed on total cholesterol levels of hypercholesterolemia patients at Sekip Palembang Health Center. This type of research is a quantitative research with a quasi experimental design. The data that has been collected, then analyzed using Friedmant Test analysis, univariate analysis, bivariate analysis, and multivariate analysis. Proximate analysis results of F3 high fiber pudding with 85.55% moisture content, 3.36% ash content, 0.86% fat content, 0.91% protein content, 9.32% carbohydrate content, 7.07 dietary fiber content gram, vitamin C content 4.00 mg, and chemical analysis results niacine content 6.08 mg. The results of the qualitative test of Flavonoids with a sample concentration of 100 g = 100000 µg/ml. There was a significant difference in total cholesterol levels before and after, namely in the treatment group with a p-value 0.05, which was 0,711. Soybean and seaweed pudding containing low fat, high fiber, vitamin C, high niacine and Flavonoids can reduce total cholesterol levels in hypercholesterolemic patients at the Sekip Palembang Health Center. Penderita hiperkolesterolemia dapat memperoleh manfaat dari pengurangan faktor risiko dengan beberapa cara, salah satunya adalah dengan memasukkan produk makanan berbasis serat ke dalam makanannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Telah diketahui pengaruh pemberian puding kedelai dan rumput laut terhadap kadar kolesterol total pasien hiperkolesterolemia di Puskesmas Sekip Palembang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen dengan sampel kriteria insklusi (berusia &gt;41 tahun, kadar kolesterol total diatas &gt;200 mg/dl, konsumsi obat penurun kolesterol) dan sampel kriteria ekslusi (pasien hiperkolesterolemia rawat jalan, dan pasien tinggak diluar wilayah kerja puskesmas sekip Palembang). Analisis Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis Uji Friedmant, analisis univariat, analisis bivariat, dan analisis multivariat. Uji sampel di Laboratorium PT. Saraswanti Indo Genetech dan Uji sampel flavonoid di Laboratorium FKSW Salatiga. Panelis uji produk pudding yaitu panelis terlatih.  Puding berserat tinggi F3 mengandung sekitar 85,55% kelembapan, 3,36% abu, 0,86% lemak, 0,91% protein, 9,32% karbohidrat, 7,07 gram serat pangan, 4,00 miligram vitamin C, dan 6,08 miligram niasin, menurut analisis proksimat dan analisis kimia. , masing-masing. Ini adalah temuan dari analisis kualitatif Flavonoid, dimana 100 g = 100.000 g/ml digunakan sebagai konsentrasi sampel. Kadar kolesterol total berbeda bermakna sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan pada kelompok perlakuan (p0,711). Kadar kolesterol total pada penderita hiperkolesterolemia di Puskesmas Sekip Palembang dapat diturunkan dengan mengonsumsi puding berbahan dasar kacang kedelai dan rumput laut yang rendah lemak, tinggi serat, vitamin C, serta kaya niasin dan Flavonoid. Kesimpulannya adalah Puding kacang kedelai dan rumput laut yang mengandung lemak rendah, tinggi serat, dan vitamin C,yang tinggi dan Flavonoid dapat menurunkan kadar kolesterol total pada pasien hiperkolesterolemia di Puskesmas Sekip Palembang. Sarannya adalah Bagi peneliti selanjutnya dapat memajukan dan menyepurnakan pengetahuan yang ada. Bagi poltekkes kemenkes Palembang jurusan gizi dapat menambah kepustakaan terkait gizi klinik mengenai penurunan kadar kolesterol total pasien hiperkolesterolemia.     The Pangururan’s Percontohan Market is located in vacation land Samosir that is always visited by many domestics people and tourism, high visitation impacted to excess waste. The bad control ofwaste management system impactedto excess waste along the market’s hallwayso the stinks spread awayand breeding grounds for disease vectors and poor market sanitation have an impact on the health of the actors. This study aims to determine the waste management system, healthy market sanitation, and traders' complaints due to poor sanitation in the Pangururan Pilot Market. This research is a descriptive survey.The number of samples as many as 92 traders were selected using the Slovin formula and sampling using stratified sampling. The results showed that the entire sample of traders were in the productive age, namely 15-64 years (100%), 8-10 working hours (53.3%), and most of the traders worked >6 years (70.7%). The waste management system in the Pangururan’s Percontohan Market does not meet the requirements according to SNI19-2454-2002 concerning Waste Management Operationsin terms of waste generation, waste storage, and waste collection. The Pangururan Pilot Market Sanitation did not meet the requirements with a score (37.4%) according to the PERMENKES RINo. 17 of 2020 concerning Healthy Markets, the facilities that do not meet the minimum requirements are market buildings, garbage disposal sites, control of disease-transmitting animals, places for food and groceries, hand washing areas, and sanitation for traders/employees. Traders who experienced health complaints were (91.3%), the types of traders who experienced the most health complaints were food traders, food traders, equipment traders, and cosmetics, services, & medicine traders (100%) with the types of complaints being The most experienced in the last 1 month is complaints in digestion. It is recommended to the manager to calculate the waste generation and waste composition, provide TPS, as well as repair and provide market sanitation facilities that are not good or not yet available. It is recommended for traders to provide individual waste storage areas at their respective kiosks/los by separating organic and inorganic waste.Pasar Percontohan Pangururan berlokasi di pusat Kabupaten Samosir yang merupakan kota wisata sehingga ramai dikunjungi baik masyarakat setempat maupun masyarakat dari luar kabupaten, jumlah pengunjung yang tinggi berdampak kepada penumpukan sampah.
