POTENSI KEARIFAN LOKALSASI BIODIVERSITYLAUT DI MALUKU DALAM PENGUATAN PEMBELAJARAN SAINS
Kearifan lokal adalah pengetahuan asli (indigineous knowledge) atau kecerdasan lokal (local genius) suatu masyarakat yang berasal dari nilai luhur tradisi budaya untuk mengatur tatanan kehidupan masyarakat dalam rangka mencapai kemajuan komunitas baik dalam penciptaan kedamaian maupun peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Salah satu fungsi dari kearifan lokal untuk pengembangan kebudayaan dan ilmu pengetahuan. Provinsi Maluku memiliki luas wilayah mencapai 81.376 km2. Luas lautan mencapai 27.191 km2 sedangkan luas daratan mencapai54.185 km2, dengan jumlah pulau yang terdiri dari 559 pulau, menjadikan Provinsi Maluku sebagai daerah kepulauan. Masyarakat pesisir di Maluku (Pulau Buru, Seram, Ambon, Kepulauan Lease, Watubela, Banda, Key, Aru, dan Kepulauan Barat Daya) memiliki sistem sasi. sasi biodiversity laut sebagai suatu sistem kelembagaan yang mengatur masyarakat desa untuk tidak menangkap sumberdaya perikanan dalam suatu periode waktu tertentu, agar dapat berkembang biak hingga mencapai ukuran konsumsi, dan dapat dimanfaatkan secara berkelanjutan. Melalui tinjauan literatur, penulis mengkaji latar belakang sasi di Maluku, tujuan dan hubungannya dengan pembelajaran sains agar ada keseimbangan antara pengetahuan sains dan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal masyarakat Maluku salah satunya sasi biodiversity laut sebagai penguatan pembelajaran sains. Kesimpulan dari kajian ini adalah: (1) Kearifan Lokalkhususnya sasi biodiversity laut dapat dibelajarkan di sekolah sebagai sumber pembelajaran sains (2) Nilai Kearifan lokalsasi biodiversitylaut dapat diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran sains disekolah.Kata kunci: Kearifan lokal,sasi biodiversity,laut Maluku, pembelajaran sain
Penerapan Program Matrikulasi Biologi Umum Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Tahun 2016/2017 [On The Implementation of General Biology Matriculation Program Faculty of Education In 2016/2017]
Matriculation is an adjustment program intended to accelerate the adaptive ability of students’ academic and non-academic skills at the beginning of study at a university. The university is authorized to design and create its own forms of matriculation programs in accordance with the ability of university and the conditions of prospective students who have been accepted. The purpose of the Matriculation Program in the Biology Education Study Program is to help students to better understand foundational knowledge, especially in general Biology. This study was an evaluative research, and data were collected using questionnaires and interviews. The total sample was 48 students. The results show that matriculation is important for participants with diverse educational backgrounds. The result of this study should be developed by evaluating suggestions and inputs for the development of matriculation activities in the next academic year.
BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK: Matrikulasi adalah program penyesuaian yang dimaksudkan untuk mempercepat kemampuan adaptasi akademik maupun non-akademik mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi yang bersangkutan. Perguruan Tinggi pelaksana diberi kewenangan untuk merancang dan mengkreasi sendiri bentuk program matrikulasi sesuai dengan kemampuan perguruan tinggi dan kondisi calon mahasiswa yang diterima. Tujuan Program matrikulasi pada. Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi adalah agar mahasiswa lebih memahami pengetahuan dasar khususnya pada mata kuliah Biologi Umum. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian evaluatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner dan wawancara. Jumlah sampel 48 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa matrikulasi penting bagi peserta dengan latar belakang pendidikan yang beragam. Hasil penelitian ini perlu dikembangkan dengan mengevaluasi saran dan masukan untuk pengembangan kegiatan matrikulasi pada tahun akademik berikutnya
PENERAPAN METODE THINK PAIR SHARE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KERJA SAMA SISWA KELAS VII SD
Data yang ditemukan di kelas VII SLH Way Pengubuan Lampung menunjukkan bahwa siswa kurang mampu bekerja sama dalam kelompok khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPA Terpadu. Metode Think Pair Share dipilih untuk menyelesaikan masalah kerja sama pada mata pelajaran IPA Terpadu. Penelitian dilakukan berdasarkan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas model Pelton. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah umpan balik mentor, jurnal refleksi, lembar observasi mentor, dan lembar angket siswa.Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Think Pair Share dengan langkah-langkah, (1) siswa dibagi ke dalam sembilan kelompok; (2) siswa diberikan tugas yang berbeda-beda oleh guru; (3) siswa mengerjakan tugas secara mandiri; (4) siswa berdiskusi dengan teman kelompoknya tentang tugas yang diberikan; dan (5) siswa berbagi informasi dengan rekannya, memberikan perubahan terhadap kerja sama siswa kelas VII di SLH Way Pengubuan Lampung pada mata pelajaran IPA Terpadu menjadi lebih baik. Sikap kerja sama siswa mengalami perubahan, hasil angket self-evaluation menunjukkan kriteria sangat baik untuk indikator pertama (100%), indikator kedua (100%), indikator ketiga (88,89%) dan indikator keempat (100%). Selanjutnya menunjukkan kriteria baik untuk indikator kelima (66,67%). Hasil angket peer-evaluation menunjukkan kriteria sangat baik untuk indikator pertama (94,44%), indikator kedua (88,89%) dan indikator keempat (94,44%). Selanjutnya menunjukkan kriteria baik untuk indikator ketiga (77,78%) dan indikator kelima (66,67%)
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
