Report on Underground Solutions for Urban Problems
No full textWorld wide, we see developing nations building new infrastructure as well as developed cities rehabilitating and expanding their infrastructure to meet the demands of increased population, energy efficiency, and environmental awareness of the public. Ten years ago ITA issued its special edition of the Tribune entitled “Why Go Underground, Contribution of the use of Underground space to Sustainable Development.” Working Group N° 20 of the ITA, focused on Urban Problems and Underground Solutions, has continued examining the use of underground space in the urban environment as it evolves with expanding cities and urban densification. Pengaruh Metode Latihan dan Kecepatan terhadap Daya Ledak Tendangan Dwi Chagi pada Taekwondo
No full textS: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) Perbedaan efek latihan dan kecepatan tendangan dwi chagi tenaga peledak. 2) Interaksi antara latihan dan kecepatan dentuman kekuatan ledakan dwi chagi. 3) Perbedaan efek latihan dan kecepatan tenaga peledak dwi chagi menendang atlet yang memiliki kecepatan tinggi. 4) Perbedaan efek latihan dan kecepatan peledak power chagi bi-kick untuk atlet yang memiliki kecepatan rendah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan faktorial 2x2. Analisis data menggunakan Anova dan Tukey pada tingkat signifikansi 5%. Hasil: 1) Ada perbedaan secara keseluruhan antara metode latihan sirkuit dan interval dengan tendangan peledak dwi chagi. 2) Ada interaksi antara latihan dan kecepatan kekuatan ledakan dwi chagi kick. 3) Metode pelatihan sirkuit memiliki dampak lebih tinggi daripada metode interval untuk atlit yang memiliki kecepatan tinggi terhadap kekuatan ledakan dwi chagi. 4) Metode pelatihan interval memiliki dampak yang lebih tinggi pada metode sirkuit pada atlet yang memiliki kecepatan rendah melawan kekuatan ledakan dwi chagi kick
Detachable Steerable Clip Applier for Dissection of ITA Branches
No full textThe internal thoracic artery (ITA) is increasingly being recognized as the best conduit for replacement of diseased coronary arteries. As the ITA is the main blood supply for the sternum, harvesting this artery causes a drop in blood flow, increasing the risk of failing to heal, and risking deep sternal wound infection. Current methods of harvesting the ITA are time consuming, and due to hidden arteries the manoeuvrability of the surgeon is limited. In this project the goal is to develop a new instrument for branch sealing and dissection, that increases the maneuverability, minimizes damage to surrounding tissue while beingmore time efficient. A systematical selection process resulted in the solutions for some of the sub-functions, whereas two subfunctions required more thorough analysis and evaluation. Concept selection for the sub-function Tip-Articulation a more in-depth analysis and experimental evaluation (n=19). The selection of the sub-function Handle-Mechanism is done by analysis of proven concepts, choices are based on the requirements that resulted from consultation with an experienced surgeon from LUMC, literature study, and supervision of experienced medical instrument engineers. A preliminary headroom analysis is done, resulting in an estimated drop of 64.45%for the duration of sealing and dissecting of branches with a relatively bigger diameter. Further research should specifically be aimed on the further development of the chosen concepts
Determining Dominant Physical Factors in Sepak Takraw Service Capabilities
No full textA service technique is an important element in the game of sepak takraw because it is the initial kick made by servers towards the opponent\u27s field as a sign of starting the game. Good service is difficult for opponents to return the ball so that points can be achieved by the server\u27s team. The purpose of this study was to determine the dominant physical factors determining the ability of sepak takraw service. The method used was a correlational study with multiple linear regression analysis. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling involving 100 students. This study was carried out from 7th to 13th October 2015 at the Jayapura Sports Building, University of Cenderawasih. The variables of this research were leg length, body weight, core flexibility, leg power, balance and service capability with the formula Y = a + b1X1 + b2X2 + b3X3 + b4X4 + b5X5. In conclusion, the dominant physical factor in the sepak takraw service capability was the leg muscle power variable (X3), because the leg muscle power had the highest standardized coefficient beta value (0.230) compared to other variables
PEMETAAN OLAHRAGA UNGGULAN PAPUA BERBASIS WILAYAH ADAT
No full textAbstrak: Pemetaan dibidang olahraga merupakan gambaran akan letak suatu tempat atau daerah dimana terdapat sumber atlet yang mempunyai bakat alam dan berpotensi untuk dibina ke jenjang prestasi yang lebih baik guna mengangkat harkat dan martabat masyarakatnya, daerahnya bahkan negaranya. Seperti diketahui bahwa Papua terbagi atas 5 wilayah adat yaitu Animha, Meepago, Lapago, Saireri dan Mamtha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peta olahraga unggulan yang ada di Provinsi Papua pada 5 wilayah adat terbesar Papua. Subyek penelitian ini adalah seluruh atlet yang masuk dalam pemusatan latihan PON XIX Papua sebanyak 349 orang asli Papua. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif melalui sebaran angket dan wawancara mendalam kepada atlet yang sedang melakukan pemusatan latihan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyebaran cabor dan atlet dari ke 5 wilayah adat terbesar Papua adalah; Mamtha 41.26%, Saereri 40.11%, Animha 9.46%, La Pago 5.16% dan MeePago 3.44%. Dari perolehan medali sebagai berikut: Mamtha 7-8-12, Saereri 2-2-2, Animha 2-3-2 sedangkan Lapago dan Meepago belum memberikan kontribusi medali. Kesimpulan: Pemetaan olahraga unggulan papua belum merata pada 5 wilayah adat terbesar di Papua dan baru 4 cabang olahraga yang bisa menjangkau semua wilayah adat yaitu Atletik, Sepak bola, Tinju dan Voli. Dominant Physical Factors for Breaststroke Swimming Speed
No full textBreaststroke swimming speed is influenced by certain physical exercises and focused on dominant physical factors, including having an ideal height, leg length, leg muscle strength, trunk flexibility, and good arm muscle strength in swimming breaststroke, speed will be obtained. In this study the researchers assumed that the determination of breaststroke swimming speed could be determined if a person had a standard height, ideal leg length and leg muscle strength, flexibility of the took, and good arm muscle strength. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis method. The processed statistics result that the Standardized Coefficient Beta variable leg length is 0.992, the highest among other variables, followed by arm muscle strength (0.224), trunk flexibility (-0.143), leg muscle strength (-0,526) and height (-1,034). It signifies that the dominant physical factor determining the speed in a breaststroke is the length of the leg. With these findings, the combination of leg muscle strength and leg length in breaststroke swimmers is one of the concerns in fostering and training and teaching breaststroke swimming. In swimming breaststroke learning the problem of the legs both leg muscle strength and leg length are priorities that need attention

Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survay dengan menggunakan total sampel sebanyak 320 siswa. Tempat penelitian adalah kantor Dinas Pemuda dan olahraga Provinsi papua pada bulan November 2017. Hasil penelitian bahwa Cabor yang banyak diminati oleh calon siswa adalah cabor sepakbola dengan jumlah peminat 140 orang kemudian dayung 41 orang disusul pencak silat 36 dan atletik 21 siswa

Conclusion : (1) athlete mutation pre PON constitute a phenomenon accomplished fact because domicile, education, job, following wife/husband and parent; (2) mutation is rightful authority athlete and sport organization must responship; (3) infraction of rule mutation, because athlete or sport organization. Sanction pattern is athlete unallowable appear on PON; (4) prestation at PON not endall to athlete.
