No full textIndramayu community still believe with the customs of his ancestors. In some areas, we can found the traditional arts, beliefs, ceremonies, games and story. On this occasion, the writers wanted to examine folklore mythology Saedah Saenih. The existences of Saenih Saedah story is very attached to some people in Indramayu, as if the story is real. The story is famous, and it appeared in the drama, lyrics, and even once made into a movie. The problems outlined in the form of questions, the myth of what is contained in the story Saedah Saenih? How far the myth Saedah Saenih for the community? what moral values that is contain in the story Saedah Saenih? This study aims are to get a complete and clear picture of the mythology in Saedah Saenih folklore. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive method. The study begins literature, data collection, classification, analysis and reporting. In conclusion, the mythical story Saenih Saedah very attached to the people of Indramayu. The contents are considered real story is characterized by the belief that the existence Saenih still in the river Sewo in white crocodile manifestation. Compliance form of throw money, as it passes through the bridge Sewo to avoid disaster. They also believe Sarkawi transformed into a floating bale, Maemunah be pring ori, and Saedah into a tree on the river bank Sewo.</jats:p

Full text linkThe effect of bismuth oxide properties for varistor applications have been
investigated. The Bi203 doped ZnO with composition [(100X)%
ZnO)+(X%Bi2O3)]mol% have been prepared using solid state method. The
structural and morphological properties of synthesized Bi2O3-doped ZnO structures
have examined. Four different composition of Bi2O3 and ZnO have been applied to
the samples. All the samples were characterized using Scanning Electron
Microscope (SEM), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR)
and UV-visible spectroscopy. The increasing of Bi2O3 concentration has led to
decrease in the average grain size and crystallite size. Therefore, by varying the
concentration of the dopant will influence the structural and morphological
properties of Bi2O3 doped ZnO varistor and will increase the performance of
varistor application. The Bi2O3 doped ZnO based varistor that have been sintered
at 1050°C with 1.0mol% of Bi2O3 has obtained the smallest grain size and exhibited
the most excellent varistor characteristic

No full textSkripsi ini dimaksudkan untuk mengeksplorasi pokok-pokok pemikiran Ki Hadjar Dewantara dalam pandangannya mengenai keteladanan dan pendidikan karakter.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untukmendiskripsikan konsep keteladanan sebagai kunci pembentukan karakter anak menurut Ki Hajar Dewantara. Kemudian alasan mengapa skripsi ini hanya terfokus untuk mengkaji pemikiran dari satu tokoh ini dikarenakan Ki Hadjar Dewantara adalah tokoh pendidikan yang mengenalkan pada pendidikan karakter dan keteladanan.
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bersifatlibrary research atau studi kepustakaan dan menggunakan metode dokumenter. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan content analysis atau penelitian yang bersifat pembahasan mendalam terhadap isi suatu informasi tertulis atau tercetak dalam media massa.
Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah metode keteladanan paling tepat dan efektif dalam membentuk karakter seorang anak karena mengikut kodrat anak itu suka meniru apa dia melihat dari apa yang dengar. Konsep yang diusung Ki Hadjar Dewantara adalah sistem among, dimana pendidik memiliki peran sangat penting yaitu sebagai teladan dan pembimbing bagi anak didiknya, sehingga orang tua dan guru wajib untuk berperilaku baik dihadapan anak didiknya. Pamong wajib mendorong anak didiknya dengan metode Ing Ngarsa Sung Tuladha ( bila berada di depan harus bisa menjadi contoh), Ing Madya Mangun Karsa (bila berada di tengah-tengah diharapkan mampu menungkan gagasan atau ide-ide baru yang mendorong kemajuan), dan Tut Wuri Handayani (bila berada di belakang diharapkan ikut memberi dukungan). Jadi, anak didik diberi kebebasan untuk bertindak, tetapi apabila kebebasan itu disalahgunakan, maka pamong wajib memberi peringatan atau hukuman. Selain itu Ki Hadjar juga mengajarkan pentingnya sistem Tri Pusat Pendidikan yang satu sama lain saling berkaitan yaitu pendidikan dalam keluarga, sekolah dan masyarakat. Ketiga hal ini akan sangat berpengaruh pada watak dan kepribadian anak.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
