PESAN DAKWAH DALAM BUKU “SAYA, JAWA, DAN ISLAM” KARYA IRFAN AFIFI
ABSTRAK
Buku Saya, Jawa, dan Islam karya Irfan Afifi ini selain di
dalamnya terdapat banyak informasi sejarah budaya Jawa dan Islam
dengan memberikan makna makna yang terkandung di dalamnya, di
samping itu juga, si penulis dalam menceritakan prosesnya untuk lebih
jauh mengetahui bagaimana sebuah pemikiran bisa terbentuk dan
keterkaitanya dengan agama dan budaya, ternyata juga mengandung
pesan dakwah yang tersirat. Penelitian ini mengkji tentang apa saja
pesan dakwah yang terdapat dalam buku Saya, Jawa, dan Islam Karya
Irfan Afifi.
Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis isi dengan
menggunakan model analisis isi Philipp Mayring, yaitu penelitian
yang dimaksudkan untuk meneliti isi. Sumber data primer penelitian
ini adalah teks Buku Saya, Jawa, dan Islam , sedangkan sumber data
skunder berupa buku, jurnal, penelitian terdahulu yang memiliki
kaitan dengan penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data yang
digunakan penelitian ini Yaitu Dokumentasi dan Wawancara.
Hasil Peneletian ini menunjukan bahwa pesan dakwah dalam
buku "Saya, Jawa, dan Islam" karya Irfan Afifi mencakup tiga aspek
utama: aqidah, syariah, dan akhlak. Namun dalam penelitian ini
ditemukan bahwa pesan dakwah akhlak adalah yang paling dominan
dari buku ini , sedangkan pesan dakwah syariah terlihat tidak
sebanyak pesan dakwah pada kategori lainnya.

In addition to containing a lot of historical information about
Javanese and Islamic culture, the book Saya, Jawa, dan Islam by Irfan
Afifi provides the meaning contained in it, besides that, the author
also tells the process to find out more about how a thought can be
formed. and its connection with religion and culture, apparently also
contains an implied message of da'wah. This research examines the
da'wah messages contained in the book Saya, Jawa, dan Islam by
Irfan Afifi.
The method used is content analysis using Philipp Mayring's
content analysis model, namely research intended to examine the
content. The primary data sources for this research are the texts of My
Book, Javanese and Islamic, while the secondary data sources are
books, journals, and previous research that are related to this
research. The data collection techniques used in this research are
documentation and interviews.
The results of this research show that the da'wah message in
the book "I, Java, and Islam" by Irfan Afifi covers three main aspects:
aqidah, sharia, and morals. However, in this research it was found
that the moral da'wah message is the most dominant in this book,
while the sharia da'wah message does not appear to be as much as the
da'wah message in other categories.

I felt that i was benefiting someone: Youth as agents of change in a refugee community project
Youth can be 'powerful catalysts' in their own and their community's development. The paper describes the experience of youth based on their participation as decision makers in and implementers of a community-based research project in a Palestinian refugee camp of Beirut, Lebanon. In-depth interviews were conducted with 18 youth and 10 of their family members or friends. The participants were asked to describe the reasons they joined the project, why they stayed on, what they liked most-least about the project, how the project influenced their lives and what they would change about the project. Thematic analysis identified recurrent themes. Youth joined the program because of its benefit to children and their community. They stayed with the program because of the solidarity they found with the team and because of their relationship with the children. They perceived that they had an important role to play in the project's success. Youth acknowledged all the skills they gained from the project. Focus groups with others corroborated their statements. This project confirmed that youth can be powerful change agents in their own development and that of their communities. An Enabling Attributes Model is proposed for projects that aim to actively engage youth as community catalysts. © The Author 2012. Published by Oxford University Press. Multilook phase difference distribution for slightly rough boundary layered ground
International audienceThe authors derive the distribution of the phase difference between two multilook scattering signals for a multilayer stack with randomly rough surfaces under a plane wave excitation. First, for infinite slightly rough surfaces described by Gaussian centred stochastic processes, the authors show that the underlying complex scattering signals follow a Gaussian joint distribution. Also, it is demonstrated that this property is within the scope of the first-order perturbation theory. Secondly, the authors use this joint probability law to derive the closed-form expression for the probability density function of the phase difference. The theoretical formula is verified by comparison with Monte-Carlo simulations. On the Co-Polarized Phase Difference of Rough Layered Surfaces: Formulae Derived From the Small Perturbation Method
International audienceWe determine the statistical distribution of the co-polarized phase difference of fields scattered from a stack of two two-dimensional rough interfaces in the incidence plane. The electromagnetic fields are represented by Rayleigh expansions and a perturbation method is used to solve the boundary value problem and to determine the first-order scattering amplitudes. For slightly rough interfaces with infinite length and Gaussian height distributions, we show that the probability density function is only a function of two parameters. For a sand layer on a granite surface in backscattering configurations, we study the influence of the incidence angle, the layer thickness, the cross-spectral density and the wave frequency upon both parameters of the probability law
Level Crossing Rate and Average Fade Distance of Signal Scattering From Rough Layered Interfaces
International audienceIn this work, we study the level crossing rate (LCR) and the average fade distance (AFD) of signal scattering from layered rough surfaces. First, we implement the first-order perturbation method and we establish the analytical expression of the joint probability density function (PDF) of the modulus of the field filtered by a sensor and its spatial derivative. We also consider the case of the field intensity. Then, we derive from the joint PDF the closed-form formulae for the LCR and the AFD as functions of the statistical parameters of rough interfaces. Numerical simulations are conducted to validate the theoretical results and show that the second-orders descriptors are very sensitive to the values of cross correlation parameters of rough interfaces
Statistics of the Stokes parameters for multilook signals scattered by layered structures with slightly rough random interfaces
International audienceThe polarization state of waves scattered from multi-layered structures with randomly rough boundaries is given by the Stokes vector and its four components. Polarimetric radars use multilook processing to reduce statistical fluctuations by spatially averaging the scattered signals. In this paper, we obtain and express in closed-form the probability density function, the cumulative density function, the expected value and the variance for each Stokes parameter in the multilook case. The slightly rough boundaries are realizations of second-order stationary centered Gaussian bi-dimensional spatial random processes and the layered structure is illuminated by a monochromatic plane wave. The zenithal and azimuthal components of the far scattered electric field are obtained from the first-order small perturbation method. The theory leads to a multivariate Gaussian model. Finally, we obtain a universal function for the probability distribution for the last three Stokes parameters. Numerical simulations are performed and coincide with the theoretical derivations. For a ground snow system represented by three interfaces air / snow cover / frozen soil / unfrozen soil, we obtain the marginal probabilities and compare the theoretical results with Monte-Carlo simulations. We show that the marginal probability distributions for multilook data are very different from those for single-look returns. Some features of coherent phenomena are observed since multilook processing reduced statistical fluctuations
Scattering From 2-D Perfect Electromagnetic Conductor Rough Surface: Analysis With the Small Perturbation Method and the Small-Slope Approximation
International audienceWe study the scattering of electromagnetic wave from a 2-D random rough surface that separates the vacuum from a perfect electromagnetic conductor (PEMC). We implement the first-order perturbation method and the first-order small-slope approximation and we establish the analytical expressions of the coherent and incoherent intensities. In contrast with the two special cases, the perfect electric conductor and the perfect magnetic conductor, the coherent intensity reflected by the PEMC has a cross-component. We also show that there is a depolarization in the incidence plane and that there are configurations, where the wave depolarization is complete and the incoherent intensity is reduced to its cross-component
Loi de probabilité du rapport des intensités en approche multivisée pour des milieux stratifiés à interfaces faiblement rugueuses
International audienceNous déterminons l'expression analytique de la loi de probabilité du rapport des intensités diffusées par un milieu stratifié présentant deux interfaces faiblement rugueuses éclairé par une onde plane électromagnétique. Les formules obtenues sont valides pour des intensités en polarisations directes et croisées et en approche simple visée et en multivisées. Les calculs sont menés dans le cadre de la méthode des petites perturbations à l'ordre 1 et suppose que les scènes éclairées sont d'extensions infinies et que les interfaces présentent des distributions des hauteurs gaussiennes. Nous montrons que pour les signatures électromagnétiques basées sur plus de deux visées, la loi de probabilité a une moyenne finie et une variance finie. Les lois de probabilité théoriques sont validées par comparaison avec des histogrammes issus de tirages de Monte-Carlo.
