Luck also is well-known in Poland, as the author or the scientific editor of several books in the field of history of psychology. In the first part of the article the short presentation of his scientific career and his scientific achievements are demonstrated. The second part comprises the analysis of his opinions in the scope of social psychology. Helmut E. Luck was the one of pioneers in psychology, who paid attention to social positive phenomena or social positive behaviors. In the field of history of psychology, H.E.Luck made the contribution to methodological analysis of psychological ideas in history, preferring the model which underlines connection of psychology with culture and at the same time creates the opportunity to analysis of biographical plots. The article also shows unquestionable and unusually merits of Luck’s in popularization of knowledge about history of psychology

No full textThe problem of method (methods) in theology is connected to the
understanding of theology as a science as well as to the understanding of its identity.
In theology understood as ascience there is no single scientific method, because there
are many theological disciplines and each of them uses its own methods. Therefore,
we speak in fact of the pluralism of the theological methods. In this paper the Author
limited the analysis of the methodological issues of theological studies to showing the
basic methodological elements: first, to those which are common to all theological
disciplines and second, he presented one of the most important hermeneutic methods,
i.e. the linguistic one, which is a method of analysing texts, used mainly in biblical,
liturgical and patristic sciences. In the last part of the paper he refers to some of the
newest works concerning the methods used in different theological disciplines.Problem metody (metod) w teologii wiąże się zrozumieniem teologii jako
nauki, a także z rozumieniem jej tożsamości. W teologii jako nauce nie istnieje jedna
metoda naukowa, bo jest wiele dyscyplin teologicznych i każda posługuje się własnymi metodami – stąd też mówimy o pluralizmie metod teologicznych. W omawianiu
problematyki metodologicznej nauk teologicznych autor ograniczył się jedynie do
ukazania podstawowych elementów metodologicznych, najpierw wspólnych wszystkim
dyscyplinom teologicznym, a następnie szczegółowiej omówił jedną z podstawowych
metod hermeneutycznych, to jest lingwistyczną, czyli metodę analizy tekstów stosowaną głównie w naukach biblijnych, liturgicznych i patrystycznych. W ostatniej części natomiast wskazał najnowsze opracowania dotyczące metod stosowanych w poszczególnych dyscyplinach teologicznych
Conception of the Relation Between the State and the Church According to Helmut Juros
No full textProblematyka stosunków między państwem a Kościołem towarzyszy człowiekowi od dawna i pozostaje aktualna we współczesnych dyskusjach. Stanowi ona również przedmiot analiz prowadzonych przez XX-wiecznych myślicieli, którzy podejmują się m.in. wskazania propozycji rozwiązań, mających na celu określenie poprawnych (właściwych) relacji między państwem a Kościołem. Autorka artykułu podejmuje się próby przedstawienia i scharakteryzowania myśli Helmuta Jurosa na temat wzajemnych relacji państwo-Kościół, a także myśli określającej charakter owych relacji. W tym celu przedstawia koncepcję krytykowanego, a następnie preferowanego przez Helmuta Jurosa typu relacji między państwem a Kościołem. Odnosi koncepcję preferowanego przez Jurosa typu tych relacji do współcześnie obowiązującego ich modelu oraz jego legitymizacji.An issue regarding the relations between the state and the Church has accompanied humanity for a long time and it is still relevant in contemporary discussions. It is also the subject of analyses carried out by the 20th century thinkers, who undertake, among other things, to indicate some proposed solutions aimed at defining correct (proper) relations between the state and the Church. The author attempts to present and characterise the thought of Helmut Juros on the mutual relations between the state and the Church, as well as the thought defining the character of these relations. For this purpose, she presents a conception of the criticised type of relationship between the state and the Church by Helmut Juros and then the preferred one. She relates Juros’ conception of the type of these relations to their contemporary model and its legitimacy

Although, at the first view, it can be assumed that Poland and the Polish politicians don’t appear too often in Kohl’s report, it could be shown after a closer analysis that Kohl refers many times to both of them. Poland aroused a special interest, but also irritation, of the chancellor around 1990 as Germany was re-united and the negotiations regarding the common border between Poland and Germany were carried out, which is depicted in this pape
"Irresponsible lending" with a better informed lender
No full textWe present a simple model of personal finance in which an incumbent lender has an information advantage vis-a-vis both potential competitors and households. In order to extract more consumer surplus, a lender with sufficient market power may engage in "irresponsible"lending, approving credit even if this is knowingly against a household’s best interest. Unless rival lenders are equally well informed, competition may reduce welfare. This holds, in particular, if less informed rivals can free ride on the incumbent’s superior screening ability

No full textInformed by her competence in literature and the theory and practice of exhibitions, Heike Gfrereis is Head of the Museum Department at the Archive of German Literature in Marbach, and curator of many literary exhibitions. Helmut Neundlinger, curator of the W. H. Auden Memorial Museum in Kirchstetten, is a writer, researcher and critic working at the Center for Museum Collections Management at the Danube University Krems and the literary collection of Lower Austria. The following “exchange of knowledge” between them and two researchers in the TRAUM– Transforming Author Museums project took place in Oslo in 2019. In this sermon, Dr. Theilicke addresses some obstacles that hinder Gods people from having faith. He stresses the importance of keeping the faith throughout Gods silent moments. Dr. Theilicke references different Biblical stories where different people showed great faith during difficult times. He also uses Gods silence while Jesus was on the cross as an illustration of how some of the greatest deliverances and blessings come during Gods silent moments. Ends abruptly

No full textAutor w artykule przedstawia tezę, że kryzys strefy euro państw członkowskich Unii Europejskiej nie został przezwyciężony i nadal należy liczyć się z jego potencjalnymi zagrożeniami. Autor w swojej analizie skoncentrował się na przyczynach kryzysu, podejmowanych środkach ratunkowych i obecnie trwającej dyskusji na temat metod jego zwalczania. Wskazując na dużą rolę Niemiec w tym zakresie, autor postuluje szereg konkretnych środków, które powinny zostać powzięte (m.in. budowa unii politycznej, unia bankowa, ścisłe powiązanie polityki gospodarczej z polityką monetarną), które pomogą przywrócić zaufanie do europejskiego pieniądza i strefy euro.The author of the paper claims that the crisis of euro zone member states has not been overcome and continues to pose potential threats. The analysis is focused on the reasons for the crisis, the emergency measures applied and the current discussion on the methods to overcome it. The Theological Issues of the Sacrament of the Sick
No full textFrom the rich theological problems of the renewed liturgy of the rites related to the Sacrament of the Sick — especially from the theological and pastoral introduction, biblical readings and euchological texts — the Author largely discusses only the basic ones. It concerns: Christological and paschal dimension of the Sacrament of the Sick; the strengthening role of the Holy Spirit in the life of sick person; ecclesial dimension of this sacrament. The author outlines briefly such elements like: the penitential dimension of the Sacrament of the Sick; the meaning of the sickness in the theological approach; the need for the introduction of the extraordinary minister (for example permanent deacon); the problem of distribution of the sacrament not only to those who suffer physically but also mentally (deep depression); the need of inclusion into the ritual a notion concerning the situation of dying person — present texts speak about the healing and avoid the references to the end of the earthly life obscuring the fear of the dying person (it means there are no elements of Christian Eastern hope).Z bogatego zakresu problematyki teologicznej nowej liturgii obrzędów sakramentu namaszczenia chorych, zwłaszcza zawartej we wprowadzeniu teologiczno-pastoralnym, w czytaniach biblijnych i tekstach euchologijnych, autor szerzej omawia jedynie zagadnienia podstawowe. Należą do nich: wymiar chrystologiczny i paschalny sakramentu namaszczenia chorych; umacniająca rola Ducha Świętego w życiu chorego; wymiar eklezjalny tego sakramentu. W sposób skrótowy zasygnalizowano jeszcze takie zagadnienia teologiczno-pastoralne, jak: wymiar pokutny sakramentu namaszczenia; sens choroby w ujęciu teologicznym; potrzeba wprowadzenia nadzwyczajnego szafarza (np. diakona stałego); problem udzielania tego sakramentu osobom chorym nie tylko somatycznie, ale i psychicznie (np. w chwili ciężkiej depresji), a także uwzględnienie w obrzędzie stanu człowieka umierającego, gdyż teksty mówią o uzdrowieniu, natomiast unikają odniesień do końca życia i tłumią lęk osoby umierającej (brak akcentów chrześcijańskiej nadziei paschalnej)
