CITRA PEREMPUAN DAN MASYARAKAT DALAM KARYA NH. DINI TAHUN 1972-1997
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan riwayat karir menulis Nh.
Dini sebagai penulis perempuan yang memiliki produktifitas tinggi dalam
menghasilkan karya dan penggambaran perempuan serta kondisi sosial
masyarakat di dalam karyanya dari tahun 1972-1997. Batasan awal penelitian ini
adalah tahun 1972, saat novel Nh. Dini yang berjudul Pada Sebuah Kapal
diterbitkan dan sejak saat itu Nh. Dini mulai menunjukkan produktifitas dalam
menghasilkan karya sastra berupa cerita pendek, novel, dan seri kenangan.
Sedangkan, batasan akhir dari penelitian ini adalah tahun 1997 karena pada tahun
tersebut ditandai dengan terbitnya novel terakhir Nh. Dini yang berjudul Tanah
Air Baru, Tanah Air Kedua.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah yang yang disajikan dalam
bentuk deskriptif naratif. Adapun sumber yang digunakan adalah sumber tertulis
dan sumber lisan, baik primer maupun sekunder. Sumber tertulis primer
digunakan antara lain berupa novel dan cerpen, serta artikel yang ditulis oleh Nh.
Dini. Sedangkan, sumber tertulis sekunder adalah buku yang relevan, koran, dan
majalah sesuai dengan pembahasan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga melakukan
wawancara dengan narasumber, dalam hal ini Nh. Dini.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kreativitas Nh. Dini dalam menulis
tidak terlepas dari pendidikan orangtua yang berkelindan dengan pengalaman
hidup Nh. Dini sendiri. Pendidikan orang tua, dalam hal ini kebiasaan membaca
dan kebebasan dalam mengungkapkan pemikiran maupun pendapat membuat Nh.
Dini tidak ragu untuk menulis segala sesuatu, khususnya seksualitas perempuan.
Disamping itu, melalui karyanya pun Nh. Dini juga mengungkapkan mengenai
persoalan ketidakadilan yang dirasakan perempuan dalam kehidupan. Hal tersebut berkaitan erat dengan pengalaman yang dialami oleh Nh. Dini sendiri dan
perempuan lain yang juga mengalami situasi serupa.
Selain itu, Nh. Dini memiliki sikap kritis terhadap apa yang dilihat dan
dirasakannya tentang persoalan yang ada di dalam masyarakat. Oleh sebab itu,
terdapat beberapa karya Nh. Dini yang mengangkat tema mengenai kritiknya
terhadap kondisi sosial masyarakat. Penelitian ini menganalisis beberapa karya
Nh. Dini dan hasilnya menunjukan Nh. Dini mengemukakan kritiknya terhadap
kondisi sosial masyarakat diantaranya kebijakan pemerintah yang sedang
dijalankan, lalu mengenai kemiskinan dan perubahan dalam masyarakat sebagai
dampak kebijakan pemerintah.
This research aims to describe the history of writing Nh. Dini career as
the author of the women who have high productivity in producing works and the
portrayal of women as well as the social conditions of the community in his work
from the years 1972-1997. The initial limitation of this research is the
year 1972, when the novel Nh. Dini entitled On A Ship published and since that
time Nh. Dini started to show the productivity in the produce of literature in the
form of short story, novel, and a series of memories. While the last limitation of
this research is 1997 because in that year marked with the rising of
the novel deals Nh.Dini entitled New Homeland, Ground Water both.
This research uses historical method presented in the form of descriptive
narrative. The source used is a source of written and oral sources, both primary
and secondary. The primary written sources are used among others in the form of
novels and short stories, as well as articles written by Nh. Dini. Meanwhile,
secondary written sources are relevant books, newspapers, and magazines in
accordance with the discussion. In addition, this research also conducted
interviews with sources, in this case Nh. Dini.
The results showed that creativity Nh. Dini in writing can not be separated
from the parent education intertwined with Nh. Dini own life experience.
Education of parents, in this case the reading habit and freedom in expressing
ideas and opinions make Nh. Dini doesn‟t hesitate to write all things, especially
female sexuality. In addition, through his works Nh. Dini was also expressed
regarding the issue of perceived injustice in the lives of women. It is closely
related to the experience that Nh. Dini themselves and other women who are also
experienced similar situations. Additionally, Nh. Dini has a critical attitude toward what he saw and felt
about the problems that exist in society. Therefore, there are some works Nh. Dini
that the theme of his criticism of social conditions. This study analyzes some of
the work and the results show Nh. Dini express his criticism of social conditions
such government policies are being implemented, and about poverty and social
changes as a result of government policy
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
