Abstract
Background. Important part of orthopaedic surgery is endoprosthetics of hip joints, which eliminates pain syndrome, restores the amplitude of movements and the support ability of the lower limb. But there is a number of complications; venous thromboembolism among them occupies a leading place.
Material and methods. 219 patients with a mean age of 64.7 ± 3.8 years were operated. In 137 (62.1%) observations, total cement hip replacement was performed for osteoarthritis. 82 (37.4%) patients received total and unipolar cement hip replacement for cervical femoral neck fractures.
Results. Clinical manifestations of non-specific connective tissue dysplasia were detected in 83 (37.9%) patients, which were confirmed by the laboratory determination of the level of general, bound and free oxyproline. In the postoperative period, the thrombotic process in the venous system of the inferior vena cava was diagnosed in 23 (10.5%) observations. Operative intervention on the hip joint in patients with nonspecific dysplasia of connective tissue in 11 (13.3%) cases was complicated by the development of venous thrombosis. In patients without non-specific connective tissue dysplasia, postoperative thrombosis in the system of the inferior vena cava was diagnosed in 12 (8.8%) observations.
Conclusions. Patients with osteoarthrosis of the hip joint and the femoral neck fracture accompanied by the non-specific dysplasia of the connective tissue are characterized by expressed levels of endothelial dysfunction and increased activity of the blood-coagulation system.

Sex-related differences in heart rate variability and static body stability in military personnel under stressful conditions
Yarmak O., Petrachkov O., Zhembrovskyi S., Andrieieva O., Chernalivska O., Chepurnyi V., Kostiv S., Liashuk O., Neborachok Y. Sex-related differences in heart rate variability and static body stability in military personnel under stressful conditions. Journal of Physical Education and Sport. - 2025. - № 3 (25). - P. 579–588. DOI:10.7752/jpes.2025.03063The study of sex-related characteristics of the HRV status and static balance performance under
stressful conditions in military personnel is extremely relevant in modern conditions, especially given the
increasing number of women in the armed forces. This trend indicates the need for a more detailed study on the
physiological characteristics of women and men in the military environment. An analysis of HRV enables the
identification of delicate alterations in autonomic nervous system functioning that arise as a result of exposure to
stressors (Dantas, et al., 2010; Draghici, 2016; Dantas, et al., 2018; Thomas et al., 2019; Geovanini, et al., 2020).
Our study has a number of methodological characteristics that should be taken into account when
interpreting the results. The sample of subjects was formed from among operational-level officers, which allows
us to generalize the results obtained for this particular category of military personnel.
Our results indicate the presence of sex differences in autonomic regulation in military persons, with
most of them being statistically significant (p<0.05; p<0.01). Women demonstrate a reduced overall HRV and a
greater dominance of the sympathetic nervous system compared to men, which may indicate an increased level
of baseline stress in women or specifics of their adaptation to stressful conditions. Our results are consistent with
the findings of Koenig et al. (2016) and Geovanini et al. (2020), who also found higher HRV in men. Research
has indicated that stress can significantly influence HRV (Kim, 2018). Notably, periods of heightened stress are
frequently linked to diminished parasympathetic nervous system activity, leading to reduced high-frequency
HRV and increased low-frequency HRV. Neuroimaging research suggests that brain regions involved in stress
appraisal, such as the ventromedial prefrontal cortex, may influence fluctuations in HRV. HRV is a complex
physiological phenomenon shaped by a multitude of factors, including medical conditions, physical health,
mental state, environmental influences, lifestyle habits, and genetic predispositions (Tiwari, 2021)
The Impact of Static Spatial Stability on Soldiers’ Functional Readiness
The Impact of Static Spatial Stability on Soldiers’ Functional Readiness / Oleksandr Petrachkov, Olena Yarmak, Vadym Chepurnyi, Volodymyr Mykhaylov, Oleksandra Blagii, Serhii Kostiv, Denis Bondar, Yaroslav Yaroshenko // Journal of Physical Education and Sport (JPES). ─ 2024. ─ Vol. 24 (issue 3). ─ Р. 720-730.The objective of this study was to explore the correlation between static spatial stability and functional readiness of officer cadets (26 cadets; average age – 19.7 years). The variability of cadets’ heart rhythm was analysed using the MPFI rhythmograph-1 system and EasyHRV software. Additionally, the Stabilis hardwaresoftware system was employed to assess the static spatial stability of cadets. The results were processed using non- parametric ANOVA statistical analysis. The main results obtained after balancing on 10 cm high stabilometric platform showed a statistically significant decrease of the median value of RRNN indicator (p<0.001), as well as a decrease in the Moda indicator (p<0.001), which indicates a decrease in the homogeneity of the heart rhythm. In addition, heart rate and parametric pulse rhythm amplitude increased (p<0.05), which indicates a regular functional response of the cardiovascular system to this physical activity. During the platform test, the statistically significant median differences were found in most indicators of static spatial stability of officer cadets (p<0.05). The platform test led to an increase in the length of the centre of pressure oscillation trajectory by 113.7%, the average speed of the centre of pressure movement by 112.5%, and the range of horizontal body movement by 63.3%. It is important to note that the balance function quality indicator decreased during balancing by 37.1%, indicating a significant deterioration of the cadets’ stability during the platform tests. During the establishing of the relationship between static spatial stability and functional readiness, the obtained research results indicate that the heart rate results has an inverse medium correlation relationship with the balance function (r=-0.485). In addition, parameters of the average length of the RRNN indicator and Moda also have an inverse correlation with the balance function parameters (r=-0.469÷-0.408). On the other hand, parameters that indicate the activity of the sympathetic nervous system have a direct correlation with the balance function parameters (r=0.444÷0.453). This indicates the important influence of the heart rhythm and the activity of the sympathetic nervous system on the stability and the body’s reaction to physical activity. Our results indicate the complex nature of the relationship between the functional state of the cardiovascular system and static spatial stability of officer cadets, emphasizing the importance of not only the regulation of heart rhythm,
but also the activity of the sympathetic nervous system to ensure stability during military operations
“The Other”, Official History, and Memory of the City in Soviet Guidebooks to Chernivtsi
The paper examines attempts to create new interpretations of the memory and history of Chernivtsi during the Soviet era through the prism of guidebooks and tries to deconstruct it. Guidebooks are considered primarily as textual representations of official policies on reconstructing Chernivtsi's past as valuable narrative sources for understanding how the totalitarian state ideologically dominated this culturally diverse city. A linguistic approach based on the theoretical model of newspeak is applied to the study of publications in order to identify discourses and analyze them. Soviet newspeak in guidebooks functions as a means of constructing narratives and an instrument for their internalization in society. The author also examines the guidebooks in the context of official historical and national policies in the post-Stalin USSR, which, in the case of the annexed territories of the Ukrainian SSR in the aftermath of the Second World War, involved the assimilation of new regions by Ukrainians along with the cleansing and demonization of local “Others.” The ideological framework for these actions included discourses on “Old Russian ethnicity” (davnoruska narodnist) as “a cradle of three brotherly peoples,” “Russian-Ukrainian friendship,” “Great Patriotic War,” and others. The study also seeks to understand the motivations of the guidebooks' authors, drawing on their biographies. It concludes that Soviet guidebooks to Chernivtsi, adhering to the official doctrine, create an exclusive and sanitized image of the city's past, aimed at erasing the history and experiences of the local “Others,” represented primarily by Romanians, Jews, and Germans, who, before the Soviet annexation, were demographically dominant ethnic groups in the city. In specific contexts, markers of “Others” create the illusion of presence and agency; however, the guidebook`s texts mostly ignore the multicultural past of Chernivtsi. Simultaneously, when the “Others” are not excluded from the narrative, their very presence in Chernivtsi's history was mainly interpreted as a hostile phenomenon, a historical mistake, and a consequence of colonial oppression in the city declared by the Soviet authorities to be primordially Ukrainian. As publications aimed at tourists and guests of the city, guidebooks appropriately represent Soviet memorials and objects of the symbolic space of Chernivtsi, through carefully crafted textual interpretations. Tourist guides are regarded as significant sources for researching local memory and history policies

<p><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p>
<p><span>Lanthanide-doped upconversion nanoparticles (UCNPs) have attractive emission properties but suffer from weak light-absorbing capacities and thereby relatively low brightnesses. This motivates using strongly absorbing dye molecules as antennas and sensitizers. However, despite much effort, understanding of this dye-UCNP interplay is still limited. Major sensitization mechanisms are still under discussion, largely because there is a lack of effective means to observe key factors such as dark state transitions within the dyes. Here, we established a combined spectroscopic procedure to systematically investigate the photophysics behind the dye-UCNP interaction, embracing fluorescence-based transient-state excitation-modulation, lifetime and correlation spectroscopy, and spectrofluorometry/spectrophotometry. With this procedure we studied the heptamethine cyanine dye IR806, a typical UCNP sensitizer, established its photophysical model, deciphered its photophysics in UCL-sensitization-related environments and could identify energy transfer from the IR806 singlet excited state to Yb3+ (UCNP sensitizer ion) as the dominant sensitization mechanism. Our studies suggest that IR806 can form non-emissive H-aggregates at the nanoparticle surfaces, which can be dissociated after certain light excitation duration (typically>100µs). Moreover, buildup of a non-fluorescent, photo-redox state of IR806 after longer irradiation times (10–100ms) can deleteriously affect its UCL sensitization, inferring an optimal excitation duration for dye-sensitized UCNPs, relevant for e.g. optical imaging applications.</span></p>
Значення І Сфера Застосування Договору Контрактаці Сільськогосподарської Продукції
This article examines the regulation of relations related to the purchase of agricultural products, by concluding a contract for contracting. The author investigates the significance of this agreement and its scope.
Opportunity at your discretion to choose a contract structure, which will essentially reflect the nature of the relationship between the parties are the permissive principle of modern contract law. Him Implementation positively affects both the position of the parties to the agreement, and on system of legal regulation of these relations in general.
For example, if the actual contracting of agricultural products to apply the rules of the supply agreement, the agricultural producer, which is already due to the objective factors of the weakness of the contract, will lose a number of guarantees provided by the law of its legal status. This state of affairs negatively affects the system of legal regulation of contractual relations of the parties as a whole, as it loses the character of a clear regulator of property relations.
The article examines the legislative processes of applying usufruct of state property, related to the urgent need to bring regulatory approaches to the regulation of social relations in line with European standards. The author emphasizes that in the context of modern social risks, there is an obvious need for a thorough review of the mechanisms for managing state property in order to activate the attraction of investment resources and to increase the level of efficiency of management of state property. The legal definition indicates that usufruct is a real right to state property, thus determining the need to define its place in the system of real rights to another’s property. Special legal regulations are established for usufruct of state property. Thus, there is a need to verify special rules regarding the general characteristics of personal servitudes in general and the specific characteristics of usufruct of state property. It has been established that usufruct of state property goes beyond the personal servitudes existing in the Civil Code of Ukraine. This practice is characteristic of European doctrine. The special legal characteristics of usufruct of state property differentiate it as a separate special type of personal servitude due to: the specifics of the grounds for establishment and termination; the content of usufruct; the subject composition of possible usufructuaries. The article notes that this specificity is determined by special mechanisms for managing state property, which are based on the public interest. The author emphasizes that the legislation preserves the personal nature of usufruct of state property by establishing it for a specific entity and granting exclusive rights to use state property to such entity. In such circumstances, the current level of regulation of personal easements in the provisions of the Civil Code of Ukraine clearly needs to be detailed. The article examines the legislative processes of applying usufruct of state property, related to the urgent need to bring regulatory approaches to the regulation of social relations in line with European standards.
