    No full text
Druhá část sumarizuje vývoj průmyslu, obchodu, dopravy a logistiky v ČR. In years 2008-2010 the main wave of global economic crisis took place. This crises have hit both industry and trade with negative impact on the demand for logistics services and technologies. The aim of this Master's Thesis is to find the answer on question if and which logistics technologies can moderate the impacts of crisis. Thesis is focused on the Czech Republic and on the logistics service providers. Beside that it summarizes knowledge gained from crisis period from all related fields and branches of economy. In the first part the thesis summarizes knowledge concerning logistics and related operations, logistics technologies, logistics providers and outsourcing. The second part deals with the development of industry, trade, transport and logistics in the Czech Republic. It inquires what contributed to the success or failure of the logistics providers, in which assets they invested and what was the demand for their services. The proper strategy in logistics for the period of recession is proposed on the basis of uncovered facts both for logistics providers and their customers

Measurement of πγπππ+\pi^{-}\gamma \to \pi^{-}\pi^{-}\pi^{+} at Low Masses, and Comparison to ChPT Prediction, at COMPASS

This paper presents an analysis of pi- Pb -> X- Pb -> pi-pi-pi+ Pb events at 190 GeV/c beam momentum and very low four-momentum transfer t' X- Pb -> pi-pi-pi+ Pb events at 190 GeV/c beam momentum and very low four-momentum transfer t'<0.001 GeV^2/c^2. Coherent scattering off the nucleus as a whole dominates with contributions from Reggeon, Pomeron and photon exchange. The latter originates from Primakoff reactions and is identified by the sharp Coulomb peak of intensities at t' approx 0. The partial-wave analysis of these data focusses on new techniques for the extraction of the Primakoff contribution at low masses. Its measured absolute cross-section at sqrt(s) < 5 m_pi is well in agreement with the prediction from chiral perturbation theory

B. 2009;680(3):217-224.We present a LO evaluation of helicity densities of valence, Delta u(v) + Delta d(v), non-strange sea, Delta(u) over bar + Delta(d) over bar, and strange quarks, Delta s (assumed to be equal to Delta(s) over bar). They have been obtained from the inclusive asymmetry A(1,d) and the semi-inclusive asymmetries A(1,d)(pi+), A(1,d)(pi-), A(1,d)(K+), A(1,d)(K-) measured in polarised deep inelastic muon-deuteron scattering. The full deuteron statistics of COMPASS (years 2002-2004 and 2006) has been used. The data cover the range Q(2) > 1 (GeV/c)(2) and 0.004 < x < 0.3. Both non-strange densities are found to be in a good agreement with previous measurements. The distribution of Delta s(x) is compatible with zero in the whole measured range, in contrast to the shape of the strange quark helicity distribution obtained in most LO and NLO QCD fits. The sensitivity of the values of Delta s(x) upon the choice of fragmentation functions used in the derivation is discussed. (C) 2009 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved

Adolph C, Alekseev MG, Alexakhin VY, et al. Exclusive rho(0) muoproduction on transversely polarised protons and deuterons. Nuclear Physics B. 2012;865(1):1-20.The transverse target spin azimuthal asymmetry A(UT)(sin(phi-phi s)) in hard exclusive production of rho(0) mesons was measured at COMPASS by scattering 160 GeV/c muons off transversely polarised protons and deuterons. The measured asymmetry is sensitive to the nucleon helicity-flip generalised parton distributions E-q, which are related to the orbital angular momentum of quarks in the nucleon. The Q(2), x-B-j and p(T)(2) dependence of A(UT)(sin(phi-phi s)) is presented in a wide kinematic range: 1 (GeV/c)(2) < Q(2) < 10 (GeV/c)(2), 0.003 < xB(j) < 0.3 and 0.05 (GeV/c)(2) < p(T)(2) < 0.5 (GeV/c)(2) for protons or 0.10 (GeV/c)(2) < p(T)(2) < 0.5 (GeV/c)(2) for deuterons. Results for deuterons are obtained for the first time. The measured asymmetry is small in the whole kinematic range for both protons and deuterons, which is consistent with the theoretical interpretation that contributions from GPDs E-u and E-d approximately cancel. Alekseev M, Alexakhin VY, Alexandrov Y, et al. The Polarised Valence Quark Distribution from semi-inclusive DIS. Phys.Lett. B. 2008;660(5):458-465.The semi-inclusive difference asymmetry A^{h^{+}-h^{-}} for hadrons of opposite charge has been measured by the COMPASS experiment at CERN. The data were collected in the years 2002-2004 using a 160 GeV polarised muon beam scattered off a large polarised ^6LiD target and cover the range 0.006 < x < 0.7 and 1 < Q^2 < 100 (GeV/c)^2. In leading order QCD (LO) the asymmetry A_d^{h^{+}-h^{-}} measures the valence quark polarisation and provides an evaluation of the first moment of Delta u_v + Delta d_v which is found to be equal to 0.40 +- 0.07 (stat.) +- 0.05 (syst.) over the measured range of x at Q^2 = 10 (GeV/c)^2. When combined with the first moment of g_1^d previously measured on the same data, this result favours a non-symmetric polarisation of light quarks Delta u-bar = - Delta d-bar at a confidence level of two standard deviations, in contrast to the often assumed symmetric scenario Delta u-bar = Delta d-bar = Delta s-bar = Delta s

Sivers asymmetry extracted in SIDIS at the hard scales of the Drell–Yan process at COMPASS

Eight proton transverse-spin-dependent azimuthal asymmetries are extracted in four regions of the photon virtuality Q2 from the COMPASS 2010 semi-inclusive hadron measurements in deep inelastic muon–nucleon scattering. These Q2 regions correspond to the four regions of the di-muon mass View the MathML source used in the ongoing analyses of the COMPASS Drell–Yan measurements, which allows for a future direct comparison of the nucleon transverse-momentum-dependent parton distribution functions extracted from these two alternative measurements. In addition, for the azimuthal asymmetries induced by the Sivers transverse-momentum-dependent parton distribution function various two-dimensional kinematic dependences are presented. The integrated Sivers asymmetries are found to be positive with an accuracy that appears to be sufficient to test the sign change of the Sivers function predicted by Quantum Chromodynamics

Alekseev MG, Alexakhin VY, Alexandrov Y, et al. Quark helicity distributions from longitudinal spin asymmetries in muon-proton and muon-deuteron scattering. Phys.Lett. B. 2010;693(3):227-235.Double-spin asymmetries for production of charged pions and kaons in semi-inclusive deep-inelastic muon scattering have been measured by the COMPASS experiment at CERN. The data, obtained by scattering a 160 GeV muon beam off a longitudinally polarised NH_3 target, cover a range of the Bjorken variable x between 0.004 and 0.7. A leading order evaluation of the helicity distributions for the three lightest quarks and antiquark flavours derived from these asymmetries and from our previous deuteron data is presented. The resulting values of the sea quark distributions are small and do not show any sizable dependence on x in the range of the measurements. No significant difference is observed between the strange and antistrange helicity distributions, both compatible with zero. The integrated value of the flavour asymmetry of the helicity distribution of the light-quark sea, \Delta u-bar - \Delta d-bar, is found to be slightly positive, about 1.5 standard deviations away from zero

Gluon polarisation in the nucleon and longitudinal double spin asymmetries from open charm muoproduction

Alekseev M, Alexakhin VY, Alexandrov Y, et al. Gluon polarisation in the nucleon and longitudinal double spin asymmetries from open charm muoproduction. Phys.Lett. B. 2009;676(1-3):31-38.The gluon polarisation in the nucleon has been determined by detecting charm production via D-0 meson decay to charged K and pi in polarised muon scattering off a longitudinally polarised deuteron target. The data were taken by the COMPASS Collaboration at CERN between 2002 and 2006 and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 2.8 fb(-1). The dominant underlying process of charm production is the photon-gluon fusion to a c (c) over bar pair. A leading order QCD approach gives an average gluon polarisation of (Delta g/g)(x) = -0.49 +/- 0.27(stat) +/- 0.11 (syst) at a scale mu(2) approximate to 13 (GeV/c)(2) and at an average gluon momentum fraction (x) approximate to 0.11. The longitudinal cross-section asymmetry for D-0 production is presented in bins of the transverse momentum and the energy of the D-0 meson. (C) 2009 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved
