A guide to experimental particle physics literature, 1991-1996
We present an indexed guide to experimental particle physics literature for the years 1991 - 1996. Approximately 4200 papers are indexed by (1) Beam/Target/Momentum (2) Reaction/Momentum/Data-Descriptor (including the final state) (3) Particle/Decay (4) Accelerator/Experiment/Detector. All indices are cross-referenced to the paper`s title and references in the ID/Reference/Title index. Inclusive neutral kaon production in 70 GeV/c Kp interactions
The inclusive production of neutral kaons in 70 GeV/c K/sup +/p interactions is studied with the CERN BEBC bubble chamber. The (semi-) inclusive cross sections are interpreted in terms of the various strangeness channels leading to neutral kaon production. The invariant inclusive cross section for kaon production is studied as a function of p/sub t//sup 2/ and the Feynman variable x. The latter distributions are considered both 'raw' and corrected for the presence of K/sup 0/'s resulting from K* decay. They are compared with the prediction expected from the Regge-Mueller formalism, the recombination model and fragmentation models. (24 refs)
Analytic amplitude models for forward scattering

To differentiate the goodness of the fits of many possible parametrizations to a large sample of data, we developed and used a set of quantitative indicators measuring statistical quality of the fits over and beyond the typical criterion of the . These indicators favor models with a universal Pomeron term, which enables one to extend the fit down to GeV
Hadronic scattering amplitudes: Medium-energy constraints on asymptotic behavior
peer reviewedWe consider several classes of analytic parametrizations of hadronic scattering amplitudes, and compare their predictions to all available forward data (pp, (p) over barp, pip, Kp, gammap, gammagamma, Sigmap). Although these parametrizations are very close for rootsgreater than or equal to9 GeV, it turns out that they differ markedly at low energy, where a universal Pomeron term similar toln(2)s enables one to extend the fit down to roots=4 GeV

Comparative study of the competitive models for the forward scattering data at high energies
Review of particle properties
This biennial Review summarizes much of Particle Physics. Using data from previous editions, plus 2205 new measurements from 667 papers, we list, evaluate, and average measured properties of gauge bosons, leptons, quarks, mesons, and baryons. We also summarize searches for hypothetical particles such as Higgs bosons, heavy neutrinos, and supersymmetric particles. All the particle properties and search limits are listed in Summary Tables. We also give numerous tables, figures, formulae, and reviews of topics such as the Standard Model, particle detectors, probability, and statistics. This edition features expanded coverage of CP violation in B mesons and of neutrino oscillations. For the first time we cover searches for evidence of extra dimensions (both in the particle listings and in a new review). Another new review is on Grand Unified Theories. A booklet is available containing the Summary Tables and abbreviated versions of some of the other sections of this full Review. Although these parametrizations are very close for SQRTs larger than 9 GeV, it turns out that they differ markedly at low energy, where a universal Pomeron term like ln**2 s enables one to extend the fit down to SQRTs equal to 4 GeV. We present predictions on the total cross sections and on the ratio of the real part to the imaginary part of the elastic amplitude (RHO parameter) for present and future pp and antipp colliders, and on total cross sections for gamma-p into hadrons at cosmic-ray energies and for gamma-gamma into hadrons up to SQRTs equal to 1 TeV
