This research investigates the human resource management of English
Course and its roles to the teaching quality improvement in the form of qualitative
study. The underlying reason of doing this research is regarding the phenomenon
that there are not many English courses, which exist and meet the criteria of the
good courses. Thus, the objective of this research is to describe the human
resource management roles of an English Course and the teachers’ teaching
quality toward it. The problems of the research are (1) How does the Human
Resource Management (HRM) in Lembaga Bahasa dan Pendidikan Profesional
(LBPP) LIA Surakarta treat its teachers and (2) How and to what extend does the
HRM of LBPP LIA Surakarta make the improvement of teaching quality of
teachers.
The research was carried out at LBPP LIA Surakarta on March until May
2009. The sources of the data are (1) events, (2) informants, and (3) written
documents. The data were collected through (1) observation, (2) in-depth
interview, and (4) document analysis. In analyzing the data, the writer used
interactive model analysis including reducing the data, presenting the data, and
drawing conclusion.
The result of the research shows that: (1) LBPP LIA treats its teachers by
providing many services and facilities to its teachers in order to support, develop
and improve the teaching ability of the teachers. From the treatment given by
HRD, it found that: (a) Teachers assumed that the tight teacher recruitment
process and work discipline applied in LBPP LIA are be able to motivate them to
show their best work performance, (b) the salary, incentive and bonus received by
the teachers are reasonable and be able to improve teaching quality of the teachers
through high motivation of work, (c) The training programs held by LBPP LIA
every year is beneficial and helpful for the development of teaching quality of the
teachers, (d) The facilities provided for the teachers are sufficient and helpful for
teachers’ work, (e) The insurances and pension fund gave the guarantee for full-time teachers in their work continuance, (f) the work environment in LBPP LIA is
very comfortable, (g) The students of LBPP LIA stated that the teachers’ teaching
method are interesting and be able to make the students to be more active in the
class, (h) According to LBPP LIA students, the teachers are smart, kind, and
friendly. (2) The HRM in LBPP LIA provides good services and enough facilities
to its teachers. It is proved by the teachers’ perception that they are treated well
and satisfied with the treatments. Based on the research findings, the theory
constructed is that Human Resource Management (HRM) roles in LBPP LIA
which are carried out by HRD gave improvement to teachers’ teaching quality, in
the case of salary, incentive, bonus, insurance, facilities, training program, and
work environment.
In general, this research shows that to maintain its existence, an English
course should have good management inside, in this case is good human resource
management. It is because the good HRM will create good quality of employees

UPAYA PENINGKATAN KECERDASAN EMOSI SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR MELALUI PENDIDIKAN JASMANI HARMONI
Get PDFAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan bukti bahwa Pendidikan Jasmani Harmoni efektif meningkatkan kecerdasan emosi siswa SD. Penelitian ini berdasar pada teori kognitif sosial dari Bandura. Materi Penjas Harmoni terdiri atas permainan, olahraga, dan tarian masal (tari Saman). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V enam SDN yang berbeda, dengan tiga kelas sebagai kelompok intervensi yang diajar penjas Harmoni, dan tiga kelas sebagai kelompok kontrol yang diajar penjas reguler. Perlakuan berlangsung selama 14 kali pertemuan. Kecerdasan emosi diukur sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan dengan Skala Perasaan modifikasi dari Bar-On EQ inventory. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nbahwa Penjas Harmoni efektif meningkatkan kecerdasan emosi siswa SD, yaitu kecakapan intrapersonal, interpersonal, penyesuaian diri, pengelolaan stres, dan sikap positif. Tidak ada pengaruh jenis kelamin, namun ada pengaruh bersama antara tingkat akreditasi sekolah dan jenis perlakuan terhadap peningkatan kecerdasan emosi. Penjas Harmoni disarankan untuk dipakai guruguru penjas SD di Semarang guna melengkapi KTSP 2006. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Jasmani Harmoni, kecerdasan emosi
EFFORTS TO INCREASE THE EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE OF PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS THROUGH HARMONY PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Abstract: This study is aimed to ascertain the effectiveness of Harmony Physical Education (HPE) program to increase primary school students’ emotional intelligence (EI). This study is based on Bandura’s social cognitive theory, The material of HPE is consist of games, sports, and group dance(Saman Dance). The subjects of the study were fifth grade students from different Public Elementary Schools. They were randomly assigned into control group (three classrooms) who received regular PE program, and intervention group (another three classrooms) who received HPE program. The treatment was conducted in 14 weeks. Emotional intelligence was assessed before and after the treatment using Emotional Scale that was modified from Bar-On EQ inventory. The results show that HPE Program is effective in increasing primary school students’ Emotional Intelegency which consists of intrapersonal, interpersonal, self adjustment, stress management, and positive attitudes. There were no gender role, but there is a relation between school acreditation level and the treatment used towards the improvement of emotional intelegency. Harmony Physical Education is recommended to be used by teachers in semarang as a supplement for KTSP 2006

Get PDFEksistensi merupakan keberadaan, keberadaan lembaga keuangan mikro di pedesaan secara jelas memiliki peran dan implikasi terhadap masyarakat. Khususnya dalam segi sosial ekonomi masyarakat. Eksistensi lembaga keuangan khususnya sektor perbankan menempati posisi sangat strategis dalam menjembatani kebutuhan modal kerja dan investasi di sektorriil dan pemilikan dana. Hal ini terlihat jelas bahwa keberadaan lembaga keuangan mikro di pedesaan mempunyai peran yang sangat penting sebagai penyedia jasa dan pembiayaan.
Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana eksistensi lembaga keuangan mikro dan implikasinya terhadap sosial ekonomi masyarakat, apakah ada perbedaan pendapatan masyarakat sebelum dan sesudah adanya lembaga keuangan mikro, bagaimana pandangan ekonomi Islam mengenai eksistensi lembaga keuangan mikro dan implikasinya terhadap sosial ekonomi masyarakat. Penelitian ini digolongkan kedalam penelitian lapangan (field research), data primer diperoleh dari wawancara sedangkan data sekunder dari dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan eksistensi lembaga keuangan mikro dan implikasinya terhadap sosial ekonomi masyarakat, dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pandangan ekonomi Islam tentang eksistensi lembaga keuangan mikro.
Metode yang digunakan penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif karena dilihat dari jenisnya (menurut tempat dilaksanakannya penelitian) termasuk penelitian lapangan (field research) yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan dengan melihat kejadian-kejadian yang ada dan terjadi di lapangan. Dalam pengumpulan data, penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Yang dilakukan langsung berhadapan dengan pihak lembaga keuangan mikro tunas mulya cemerlang dan anggota.
Berdasarkan hasil uraian di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa eksistensi lembaga keuangan mikro tunas mulya cemerlang meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat sesudah adanya lembaga keuangan mikro, dalam pandangan ekonomi Islam prinsip ekonomi Islam yang diharus diterapkan adalah ketauhidan, khilafah dan juga keadilan. Pemetaan Penerapan Standar Audit Berbasis ISA Pada Kantor Akuntan Publik (KAP) Di Daerah Istimewa YOGYAKARTA
Get PDFThe aim of this study is to map the application of the auditing standards based on the International Standards on Auditing (ISA) at public accounting firms in Yogyakarta. This study is a qualitative research that uses in-depth interviews and open-questionnaires to collect data from public accounting firms. The research sample consists of 6 of 12 public accounting firms. Data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis and intensive interviews with the decision makers of public accounting firms (managers or partners). The results show that 50% of public accounting firms in Yogyakarta are at the stage of knowing (level 1), 17% at the application stage (level 3), and 33% at the stage of education (level 4). The implication of this study is that the public accounting firms at level 1 should contribute actively to seek information about the audit of small business entities based on ISA which has been issued by the Indonesian Institute of Accountants. The Questions and Answers (TJ) handbook contains the ISA-based audit principles for small and medium business entities. Meningkatkan Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia melalui Kegiatan Discovery Learning dengan Menonton (MPBKM)

Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi Model Pembelajaran Discovery dengan Kegiatan Menonton (MPBKM) dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada Kurikulum Merdeka. Menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D), data dikumpulkan melalui observasi kelas dan kuesioner skala Likert terhadap siswa kelas VIII. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 85% siswa mengalami peningkatan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan menulis, sementara 45% sangat terlibat dalam pembelajaran, 40% terlibat secara moderat, dan 15% memiliki keterlibatan rendah akibat kesulitan dalam adaptasi teknologi. Tantangan yang diidentifikasi meliputi adaptasi teknologi (15%), manajemen kelas, dan waktu pembelajaran yang lebih lama. Meskipun demikian, MPBKM secara signifikan meningkatkan motivasi dan berpikir kritis siswa. Untuk mengoptimalkan efektivitasnya, diperlukan peningkatan pelatihan literasi digital dan strategi implementasi yang lebih terstruktur. Studi ini mendukung penggunaan model pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif guna meningkatkan keterlibatan dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.

ABSTRACT
This study examines the implementation of the Discovery Learning Model with Watching Activities (MPBKM) in Indonesian language learning under the Independent Curriculum. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach, data were collected from eighth-grade students through classroom observations and Likert-scale questionnaires. The results show that 85% of students demonstrated improved comprehension and writing skills, while 45% were highly engaged, 40% moderately engaged, and 15% showed low engagement due to difficulty adapting to digital media. Challenges identified include technology adaptation (15%), classroom management issues, and extended instructional time. Despite these challenges, MPBKM significantly enhanced student motivation and critical thinking. To optimize its effectiveness, improvements in digital literacy training and structured implementation strategies are necessary. This study supports the integration of interactive multimedia-based learning models to improve student engagement and learning outcomes in Indonesian language education
