Get PDFThis interview with Clarisa Ruiz Correal, is part of a larger project that seeks to research the practices of cultural management in Colombia and the city of Bogotá, mainly from the voice of its protago-nists.In an autobiographical tone, the aim is to explore how they have configured their actions, what their position has been vis-a-vis the spheres of power and the institutions or agencies they have led, how they have assumed or been part of the declarative elements of institutional rhet-oric. Vision, Viability and Value: Three perspectives on the performing arts across cultures, context and nations
No full textHow can we reach out to institutions, artists and audiences with sometimes radically different agendas to encourage them to see, participate in and support the development of new practices and programs in the performing arts? In this paper, based on a plenary panel at PSi#18 Performance Culture Industry at the University of Leeds, Clarissa Ruiz (Columbia), AnuradhaKapur (India) and Sheena Wrigley (England) together with interloctorBree Hadley (Australia) speak about their work in as policy-makers, managers and producers in the performing arts in Europe, Asia and America over the past several decades. Acknowledged trailblazers in their fields, Ruiz, Kapur and Wrigley all have a commitment to creating a vital, viable and sustainable performing arts ecologies. Each has extensive experience in performance, politics, and the challenging process of managing histories, visions, stakeholders, and sometimes scarce resources to generate lasting benefits for the various communities have worked for, with and within. Their work, cultivating new initiatives, programs or policy has made them expert at brokering relationships in and in between private, public and political spheres to elevate the status of and support for performing arts as a socially and economically beneficial activity everyone can participate in. Each gives examples from their own practice to provide insight into how to negotiate the interests of artistic, government, corporate, community and education partners, and the interests of audiences, to create aesthetic, cultural and / or economic value. Together, their views offer a compelling set of perspectives on the changing meanings of the ‘value of the arts’ and the effects this has had for the artists that make and arts organisations that produce and present work in a range of different regional, national and cross-national contexts

economía circular. Se estudiaron los residuos de flejes de PET por ser generados por las bodegas y por lo que se genera en abundancia en Mendoza y porque representa un
desafío técnico al ser reciclado junto con otros plásticos. Se compararon tres alternativas para los flejes PET triturados: como agregado para fabricar adoquines con cemento,
como relleno de una matriz polimérica para fabricar placas y extruido para obtener pellets de PET reciclado.
La metodología utilizada fue el Costeo del Ciclo de Vida o CCV complementado con un análisis del impacto de los costos de cada alternativa sobre el valor de mercado del
producto obtenido. Además, se propuso un procedimiento de evaluación de la calidad de datos del inventario económico mediante una matriz de evaluación de calidad de datos.
La alternativa de triturar y extruir el residuo para obtener pellets resultó ser la mejor desde el punto de vista económico pero las otras dos alternativas parecen viables
económicamente. Finalmente se concluye que es fundamental estudiar los costos y valores de mercado cuando se analizan alternativas de valorización de residuos
en conjunto con los estudios técnicos y ambientales. Solo considerando todas estas variables se pueden tomar decisiones informadas para lograr una economía circular

El aprendizaje cooperativo como estrategia para mejorar el desarrollo de las habilidades cognitivas en el Área de Comunicación de los alumnos del sexto grado de primaria de la Institución Educativa Pedro Ruiz Gallo - Chorrillos
Get PDFLa presente tesis titulada Estrategias de aprendizaje cooperativo para el desarrollo de las habilidades cognitivas en el Área de Comunicación de los estudiantes del sexto Grado de Educación Primaria de la IE Pedro Ruiz Gallo de Chorrillos, se desarrolló con el objetivo de conocer los efectos que logran las estrategias de aprendizaje cooperativo. Luego de aplicar nuestros instrumentos, se pudo explicar y demostrar que el empleo de las estrategias del aprendizaje cooperativo logran el desarrollo de habilidades cognitivas en los alumnos del sexto grado de educación primaria. Verificamos que esta estrategia mejora las técnicas de interpretación de textos y favorece el desarrollo crítico-reflexivo. Quedó demostrada nuestra hipótesis de trabajo: “que las estrategias de aprendizaje cooperativo en sus diversas modalidades afectan el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje y logran el desarrollo significativo de las habilidades cognitivas en los alumnos del sexto grado de educación primaria”. Se comprobó que dichas estrategias son una alternativa para lograr un óptimo desarrollo de habilidades cognitivas, hecho que se evidenció cuando los alumnos en equipos resolvieron situaciones como selección de ideas, análisis de textos, organización de la información, comparación, creación de textos, entre otras actividades que implican desarrollo de habilidades cognitivas. Otro logro, es que surten efectos positivos en las actitudes de los alumnos. Se notó el incremento de la autoestima, la adquisición de responsabilidades y la fijación del compromiso por su trabajo y por el de los demás.This thesis, entitled "Cooperative Learning Strategies for the Development of Cognitive Skills in Communication among Sixth-Grade Primary School Students at Pedro Ruiz Gallo Elementary School in Chorrillos," was developed with the objective of understanding the effects of cooperative learning strategies. After applying our tools, we were able to explain and demonstrate that the use of cooperative learning strategies leads to the development of cognitive skills in sixth-grade primary school students. We verified that this strategy improves text interpretation techniques and promotes critical-reflective development. Our working hypothesis was demonstrated: "that cooperative learning strategies in their various forms affect the teaching-learning process and achieve the significant development of cognitive skills in sixth-grade primary school students." These strategies were proven to be an alternative for achieving optimal development of cognitive skills, a fact that was evident when students worked in teams to solve situations such as idea selection, text analysis, information organization, comparison, and text creation, among other activities that involve the development of cognitive skills. Another achievement is that they have a positive effect on students' attitudes. Increased self-esteem, the acquisition of responsibilities, and a commitment to their work and that of others were noted.Universidad Nacional de Educación Enrique Guzmán y Valle.Tesi
Representaciones de la maternidad en Cuentos de Eva Luna de Isabel Allende: El caso de “Clarisa” y “Tosca”
Get PDFMotherhood is a central life experience to female identity and to the configuration of gender roles in any society. However, despite this centrality, the figure of motherhood in literature has not been studied until a few decades ago. The purpose of this essay is to contribute to this growing academic corpus, analyzing how the Chilean writer Isabel Allende represents motherhood in a small part of her work, specifically two stories: "Clarisa" and "Tosca". This work is an ethnoliterarian analysis in which, using Jungian theory, we identify underlying archetypes in the text with the aim of reconstructing motherhood discourses represented in the texts. In addition, I analyzed the attitudes of the narrator towards those discourses. Even though the protagonists of her stories subvert in a certain way the gender roles imposed on them, in general lines Isabel Allende reproduces Chilean dominant motherhood discourse. Furthermore, the Chilean author shows a very conservative attitude in this regard

No full textMango processing discards phenolic‐rich by‐products. The present work evaluated the effects of supplementing corn chips with mango cv. “Ataulfo” peel (0, 10, 15, and 20%), regarding sensory acceptability, phenolic content, profile and in vitro bioaccessibility, antioxidant activity, and in vitro dialyzed glucose. Addition of up to 15% mango peel maintained or increased consumer acceptability. Phenolic content increased approximately nine‐fold (from 0.9 mg GAE/g for control chips, to 8.9 mg GAE/g for chips with 15% peel). Chips were enriched with mangiferin, quercetin and rutin, neither of which was found in control samples; antioxidant activity also increased significantly. Enriched chips had an increased bioaccessible (three‐fold) and dialyzable (two‐fold) phenolic content, and decreased in vitro dialyzed glucose. We conclude that “Ataulfo” mango peel improves sensory acceptability and phenolic content of supplemented corn chips, as well as increasing antioxidant capacity and reducing in vitro dialyzed glucose concentration, thereby exerting functional properties
