Compositions of Igor Stravinsky for Violin
The topic of my thesis is life and work of Igor Stravinsky with norrow focus on compositions for violin. I give greater emphasis to compositions Concerto in D for Violin and Orchestra and the Italian suite with which I have personal experience. Igor Stravinsky composed most of the compositions in the 1930th in cooperation with the violinist Samuel Duskin. Only a few of them are completely original works. The author often used musical themes from his own previously composed ballets, such as the The Firebird, Petrushka, The Soldier's Tale, Pulcinella, or Fairy's Kiss.
Composer Igor Stravinsky is certainly a controversial figure. Though essentially a pragmatist, he was always directed more by instinct while creating music. I would like to present to not only violinists interesting circumstances of compositions, even though is still little available informations

different gender affiliations, serves as the material that enables to justify the possibility of application quantitative

grammatical classes of words: pronouns, particles, prepositions, conjunctions and parenthesis. The method under

The figure of the "patriarch of Slavonic studies" in Edward Keenan's work : (Josef Dobrovský and the origins of the Igor' Tale, 2003)
Autor přítomného příspěvku se zabývá úlohou osobnosti Josefa Dobrovského v utváření Slova o pluku Igorově na pozadí knihy (2003) Edwarda Keenana. Autor vysoce oceňuje precizní Keenanovu analýzu osobnosti Dobrovského a jejího psychického ustrojení, jakož i básnického nadání, jež se reflektuje v tzv. The author of the present contribution deals with the role of Josef Dobrovský' personality in the formation of the Igor' Tale at the background of Edward Keenan's book (2003). The author highly appreciates Keenan's precise analysis of Dobrovský's personality and its psychic structure as well as his poetic gift reflected in the so-called Bowring affair. Though he is not convinced about Dobrovský's authorship of the Igor' Tale, he shares the view expressed by several specialists in medieval texts that the Igor' Tale – like Elder and Younger Edda, Nibelungenlied or Kalevala came into existence via textual stratification
