SPIRITUALITAS PERAN KONSELOR DALAM MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS PELAYANAN BIMBINGAN KONSELING
Keberadaan konselor di sekolah belum sepenuhnya menjadi rujukan bagi peserta didik, diantaranya adalah persepsi peserta didik tentang konselor yang kurang ramah, menakutkan dan ditambah dengan ketidaktahuan peserta didik tentang fungsi keberadaan konselor di sekolah, selain itu kompetensi konselor juga belum menunjukkan bagaimana peran, tugas dan kewajiban konselor yang sesungguhnya. Unjuk kerja konselor ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas penguasaan kompetensi yang dilandasi oleh sikap, nilai dan kecenderungan pribadi yang mendukung, kompetensi akademik dan profesional konselor secara terintegritas membangun keutuhan kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial dan profesional. Dalam menjalankan tugasnya konselor memiliki tanggung jawab penuh terhadap fungsi bimbingan serta mempunyai keahlian khusus yang tidka bisa dilakukan oleh guru biasa, selain itu konselor harus memiliki sifat-sifat yang mencerminkan seorang pembimbing yang mampu mengarahkan dan juga mempunyai tugas-tugas untuk menjalankan bimbingan konseling di sekolah. Perkembangan informasi global dan kompleksitas tata nilai kehidupan sejatinya mendorong peran konselor/guru pembimbing untuk lebih proaktif memiliki pengetahuan yang meningkat, tidak stagnan. Guru pembimbing/konselor tidak boleh tertinggal dengan strategi canggih yang dipasng oleh siswa. Seperti dalam hal adu argumentasi, pemahaman dan penguasaan teknologi yang dikuasi oleh peserta didik untuk melakukan dusta kepada guru pembimbing/konselor. Spiritualitas Peran konselor sendiri dituntut harus profesional dan mempunyai jiwa sabar, ikhlas dan mau berkorban untuk suatu perubahan peserta didik dalam mengembangkan potensinya maupun membantu mereka yang menemui kendala, peran ini nantinya akan bertujuan membantu individu dalam mencapai perkembangan secara optimal, mampu memahami dan menerima diri sendiri dengan lingkungannya, membuat keputusan dan rencana yang realistis, mengarahkan diri sendiri dengan keputusan dan rencananya dan pada akhirnya dapat mewujudkan diri sendiri.
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Sinergitas Kegiatan Keagamaan dan Layanan Bimbingan Konseling dalam Mengembangkan Altruisme
Penelitian ini memiliki tiga tujuan yaitu: (1) mengetahui kegiatan keagamaan di SMP N 2 Suruh (2) mengetahui layanan bimbingan konseling di SMP N 2 Suruh (3) mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pengembangan altruisme di SMP N 2 Suruh. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data yang diperoleh berasal dari observasi dan wawancara mengenai kegiatan keagamaan, layanan bimbingan konseling dan faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam mengembangkan altruisme di SMP N 2 Suruh. Pada penelitian ini, informasi diperoleh dari guru keagamaan, guru bimbingan konseling, dan siswa di SMP N 2 Suruh. Informan yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 4 orang yang terdiri dari satu guru keagamaan, satu guru bimbingan konseling, dan dua siswa SMP N 2 Suruh. Hasilpenelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kegiatan keagamaan dan layanan bimbingan konseling yang digunakan yaitu dengan mensosialisaikan, pendekatan, kebersamaan, keteladanan dalam melaksanakan ibadah, menerapkan nilai-nilai keagamaan, dan menajalankan kegiatan keislaman. Faktor pendukung dalam mengembangkan altruisme di SMP N 2 Suruh yaitu kondisi latar belakang agama, keadaan siswa, dan guru, kondisi sekitar sekolah, fasilitas sekolah, adapun faktor pengahambat dalam mengembangkan altruisme di SMP N 2 Suruh yaitu kesadaransiswa, orangtua dan lingkungan sekita
EFEKTIVITAS KONSELING KELOMPOK SHAME ATTACKING EXERCISE BERDASARKAN Q.S ALI-IMRAN AYAT 139 UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEPERCAYAAN DIRI SISWA DI SMK NEGERI 1 MOJOSONGO
This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of group counseling using the Shame Attacking Exercise technique based on Q.S Ali Imran verse 139 to help individuals overcome shame and improve students' self-confidence. The research method used is quantitative pre-experimental with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The research participants consisted of 10 students with low self-confidence levels, selected through purposive sampling techniques. The instrument used was a self-confidence scale that had been tested for reliability. The results of the instrument consisted of 24 questions with a reliability value of 0.727. Data were analyzed using a T-Test. There was a significant difference in self-confidence scores before and after the treatment. The research results showed p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a positive effect on increasing students' self-confidence at SMK Negeri 1 Mojosongo. This study is expected to serve as a reference for school counselors in helping to improve students' self-confidence through group counseling using the Shame Attacking Exercise technique based on Q.S Ali Imran verse 139
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
STRENGTHENING COUNSELORS SPIRITUALITY IN FACING ASEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY (AEC)
There is an anxiety to face ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). This is natural reaction when we see our readiness to face competition compared with other ASEAN countries. Such manner already exists since the inception of ASEAN in 1967. The anxiety would be a reasonable thing to the enactment of MEA, considering not all the people know what the MEA is. The survey results indicate that the stakeholder both the central government, local government, academia, and society in this country is still relatively have low understanding and knowledge about the ASEAN Economic community (AEC). It is ironic, other ASEAN countries has been intensely preparing steps needed to face AEC, while the majority of the Indonesian people do not know what it is. Modern life along with science, technology and economic progress experienced by Western nations turned out to have caused various situations of life that does not give happiness and a growing sense of inner emptiness. Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
