Dependent Personality in a Case of Sexual Offence on a Child (A Case Study)
This discussion is aimed on analyzing the fatal sexual violence incident that occurred in Kediri, East Java on June 27th, 2016. The victim was a three year old boy who was sodomized and thrown to his death by the perpetrator. The perpetrator himself is the victim’s uncle (30 years of age), who experienced relatively heavy stress, and an MMPI (Minnesota Multi-phasic Personality Inventory) indicating normal (heterosexual) sexual orientation, a modest and honest man with a dependent personality. Data was obtained from patient’s medical records, interview with psychiatrist in charge of the event, and the mother of the perpetrator to detect influential factors starting from conception to adulthood. An important data is that the perpetrator was once a victim of sexual violence (sodomy) when he was in the first year of primary school, the stressful burden in the family’s environment, personal trauma of wife’s miscarriage when the embryo was four months old that occurred one month prior to the incident
PENDEKATAN TEKNOLOGI DALAM PENGEMBANGAN KURIKULUM PENDIDIKAN DI SEKOLAH DASAR
This research aims to explore the use of technological approaches in the development of educational curricula in elementary schools. The method used in this research is a literature review. The researcher utilized various written sources such as articles, journals, and documents relevant to this study. The results show that the technological approach can enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of learning and facilitate students in achieving established learning goals. However, some obstacles were also found, such as limited access to technology in the surrounding environment or difficulties in fully integrating technology into the curriculum. Therefore, the author provides practical recommendations for educators, policymakers, and other stakeholders to optimize the use of technology in elementary education in Indonesia
PEMBELAJARAN KEWARGANEGARAAN (PKN) YANG KONTEKSTUAL DAN MENYENANGKAN BAGI SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR
This research aims to explore and analyze contextual and fun learning approaches for Civic Education in elementary schools. The type of research is qualitative with literature review method. The learning strategies explored and analyzed include active and creative learning, media use, and learning models. The results showed that active and creative learning strategies, the use of technology-based and contextual interactive media, as well as project-based and cooperative learning models are effectively applied to create contextual and fun learning so as to increase students' understanding of Pancasila values. The implication is that teachers need to integrate contextual approaches creatively and utilize technology to support the Civics learning process. Further research needs to test the application of contextual and fun approaches in varied classroom conditions

Upaya Meningkatkan Ketrampilan Menghitung Keliling Dan Luas Bangun Datar Melalui Strategi Discovery-Inquiry Pada Siswa Kelas IV SDN 02 Tlobo Kecamatan Jatiyoso Kabupaten Karanganyar Tahun 2012/2013
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: untuk mengembangkan wawasan guru dalam proses inovasi pembelajaran, untuk meningkatkan kwalitas pembelajaran dengan strategi discovery-inquiry, dan untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan menghitung keliling dan luas bangun datar dengan strategi discovery-inquiry. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dilakukan 3 siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 02 Tlobo dan guru. Obyek penelitian ini adalah ketrampilan menghitung keliling dan luas bangun datar. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah data pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan strategi discovery-inquiry dan ketrampilam siswa menghitung keliling dan luas bangun datar. Metode pengumpulan datanya dengan dokumentasi, observasi, dan test. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah model analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, sajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian dengan penerapan strategi discovery-inquiry pada siklus I terdapat peningkatan dari rata-rata 40 menjadi 60,42. Karena nilai pada siklus I belum mencapai KKM (68) maka dilanjutkan ke siklus II. Siklus II terdapat peningkatan dari rata-rata 60,42 menjadi 66,66. Nilai pada siklus II belum mencapai KKM maka dilanjutkan ke siklus III. Siklus III terdapat peningkatan dari rata-rata 66,66 menjadi 82,44. Penelitian ini berhenti pada silus III karena nilai sudah di atas KKM sehingga dengan pelaksanaan 3 siklus dengan strategi discovery-inquiry dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan menghitung keliling dan luas bangun datar. Jadi dapat disimpulkan hipotesis yang dirumuskan telah terbukti kebenarannya. Terdapat peningkatan kwalitas pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan strategi discovery-inquiry pada siklus I, siklus II, dan siklus III dan ada peningkatan ketrampilan menghitung keliling dan luas bangun datar dengan pelaksanaan strategi discovery-inquiry
The anxiety level of pregnant women at Siti Khodijah Muhammadiyah Sepanjang Hospital during COVID-19 pandemic
Pregnant women are one of the vulnerable groups who have to face the unpleasant effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the effects is the psychological impact that is bad for both the mother and the fetus. This study aims to describe the level of anxiety experienced by pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic at Siti Khodijah Muhammadiyah Sepanjang Hospital. The results of this study are expected to be used as information to help overcome more serious mental health problems. This research uses using quantitative descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample of this study was 112 pregnant women who met the research criteria. This research was conducted by giving them questionnaires consisting of their age, job, parity, gestational age, history of COVID-19 illness, history of mental problems, knowledge about COVID-19, and level of anxiety. Statistical analysis showed 84.8%, 8.9% and 6.3% of pregnant women experience low, moderate, and concerning levels of anxiety, respectively. The majority of pregnant women are primigravida, aged 20-35 years, with a gestational age of 28-41 weeks, housewives, and the level of knowledge about COVID-19 is very good. Correlation analysis using Kendall's tau-b showed a significance value of 0.038 (<0.05), which means a relationship exists between the level of knowledge about COVID-19 and the level of anxiety of pregnant women. In conclusion, the level of anxiety of pregnant women the most is low anxiety, followed by moderate and concerning levels of anxiety
Relationship between personality traits and perinatal depression at Muhammadiyah Hospital Surabaya
Perinatal depression is a feeling disorder that occurs in a woman during pregnancy and after childbirth. Perinatal depression can be seen from various factors, one of which is personality traits. This study aims to determine the relationship of personality traits with perinatal depression at Muhammadiyah Hospital Surabaya. This study was observative analytic using a cross-sectional approach, conducted on 96 respondents using the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) and the OCEAN personality trait questionnaire. The result of the multiple linear statistical tests on the F test is p=0.00 (p<0.05), the t-test on the extraversion personality trait is p=0.031 (p<0.05), and the neuroticism personality trait is p=0.000 (p<0.05). The coefficient of determination test R2= 37.0%. In conclusion, there is a relationship between personality traits and perinatal depression at Muhammadiyah Surabaya Hospital
Pengaruh Partisipasi Pembelajaran Matematika terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Siswa Kelas Atas Sekolah Dasar
Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis pengaruh partisipasi pembelajaran matematika (keaktifan, kedisiplinan, konsistensi) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas 4, 5, dan 6. Metode penelitian kuantitatif, jumlah sampel 51 responden kelas atas salah satu SD negeri di Kecamatan Karanganyar. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda, uji t, dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi belajar (keaktifan, kedisiplinan, konsistensi siswa) berkontribusi positif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,323 (keaktifan), 0,378 (kedisiplinan), dan 0,296 (konsistensi). Uji F mengonfirmasi pengaruh simultan ketiga variabel tersebut, dengan R=0,922 dan R²=0,850, menunjukkan 85% variansi kemampuan memecahkan masalah dijelaskan oleh partisipasi siswa. Kesimpulannya, partisipasi belajar secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah. Temuan ini memperkuat pentingnya partisipasi pembelajaran matematika dalam memecahkan masalah
Hubungan Trauma Psikologis Pada Ibu Hamil Dengan Gejala Depresi Perinatal di Rumah Sakit Muhammadiyah Surabaya
Latar Belakang: Depresi perinatal merupakan masalah kesehatan mental yang sering dialami oleh ibu hamil dan menyusui. Trauma psikologis yang dialami sebelum hamil dapat berdampak signifikan terhadap kesehatan mental ibu hamil, termasuk meningkatkan risiko depresi perinatal. (Shamblaw et al., 2019) Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa trauma psikologis dapat mempengaruhi fungsi sosial yang dapat meningkatkan risiko depresi perinatal. Namun, masih terdapat keterbatasan dalam penelitian yang menyelidiki hubungan spesifik antara trauma psikologis dan depresi perinatal. (Nanni et al., 2012) Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan trauma psikologis pada ibu hamil dengan gejala depresi perinatal di Rumah Sakit Muhammadiyah Surabaya.Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode Cross Sectional Study dengan teknik Purposive Sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 96 orang ibu hamil dan menyusui di Rumah Sakit Muhammadiyah Surabaya. Pengambilan data penelitian dilakukan dengan pemberian kuesioner (EPDS) & (TEQ) kepada responden yang diisi secara tertulis. Data dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji Spearman Rho dengan aplikasi statistik SPSS.Hasil: Hasil analisis uji Spearman Rho diperoleh nilai p = 0,503 (p > 0,050), dengan Koefisien Korelasi r = 0,069 yang menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Trauma Psikologis dengan Gejala Depresi Perinatal di RS Muhammadiyah Surabaya. Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan antara trauma psikologis pada ibu hamil dan menyusui dengan gejala depresi perinatal di RS Muhammadiyah Surabaya
The Relationship Between Ego Strength, Emotional Intelligence, and Clinical Skills Performance in Preclinical Medical Students
Academic stress is associated with mental disorders such as depression, anxiety, physical,and academic challenges. Medical students are particularly susceptible to high levels ofstress due to demanding academic workloads, intense competition, and prolonged studyperiods. Assessments like Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE), whichevaluate students' clinical skills, also contribute to stress. One of the key factors insuccessfully facing this test is ego strength and emotional intelligence. This study aims toinvestigate the relationship between ego strength, emotional intelligence, and clinicalskills performance. A quantitative research design employing an analytical observationalapproach and a cross-sectional methodology was utilized. The instrument used tomeasure academic stress is the MMPI-1, while emotional intelligence is the TEIQue-SF.A total sampling method was employed for participant selection. The research findingsshow that the majority of respondents have low levels of ego strength (60%), a mediumlevel of emotional intelligence (77%), and OSCE scores was predominantly A grades.There was a weak association between emotional intelligence and OSCE performance (p= 0.784). Similarly, relationship between ego strength and OSCE performance (p =0.314). It is important that the identified relationships are correlative rather than causaland their impact is not statistically significant
