Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used

Al-Qur'an adalah sumber utama dalam Islam dan salah satu mukjizat utama yang diberikan kepada Nabi Muhammad SAW. Salah satu aspek mukjizat Al-Qur'an adalah aspek linguistiknya. Di antara surat-surat dalam Al-Qur'an terdapat Surat Luqman, yang mengandung banyak hal penting yang harus diketahui setiap manusia, termasuk akidah, akhlak, dan syariah yang bermanfaat bagi kehidupan manusia. Surat Luqman, seperti surat-surat lainnya, mengandung kata-kata yang menunjukkan perintah dan kata-kata yang menunjukkan larangan dalam konteks pendidikan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah kata perintah dan larangan dalam Surat Luqman, memahami makna kata-kata perintah dan larangan dalam Surat Luqman dari perspektif Balaghah, dan bagaimana implikasi pedagogik dalam ayat-ayat yang mengandung kata-kata perintah dan larangan dalam Surat Luqman.
Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti lebih menekankan pada metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif. Metode yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data penulisan tesis ini adalah library research.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya 16 kata perintah dalam bentuk fi'il amr (kata kerja perintah) dan 7 kata larangan. Selain itu, diketahui pula berbagai makna linguistik dari setiap kata tersebut. Dari perspektif balaghah, maknanya meliputi: At Tahakum (sindiran), , At Tahdid (ancaman), At Tahadi (tantangan), At Ta’jiz (menampakan ketidak mampuan), Al Irsyad (pengarahan), At Tasliah (hiburan), Al I’tibar (mengambil pelajaran), At Taskhir (merendahkan), , Al Imtinan (memberikan karunia ), dan Al Inzar (peringatan). Sedangkan untuk aplikasi pedagogiknya meliputi pengajaran kritis, memahami sebab-akibat, mengikuti kebenaran yang jelas, dan lainnya.

القرآن الكريم هو المصدر الأول في الإسلام، وهو أحد المعجزات الرئيسية التي أُعطيت للنبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم. من جوانب إعجاز القرآن الكريم هو الجانب اللغوي. من بين السور في القرآن الكريم سورة لقمان، وهي تحتوي على العديد من الأمور الهامة التي ينبغي لكل إنسان أن يعرفها، منها العقيدة والأخلاق والشريعة التي تفيد حياة الإنسان. تحتوي سورة لقمان، كما في السور الأخرى، على كلمات تدل على الأوامر وكلمات تدل على النواهي. في سياق التعليم.
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة عدد كلمات الأمر والنهي في سورة لقمان، وفهم معنى كلمات الأمر والنهي في سورة لقمان من منظور البلاغة، و المضمون التربوي في الآيات التي تحتوي على كلمات الأمر والنهي في سورة لقمان.
في هذه الدراسة، يركز الباحث على المنهج النوعي مع نهج التحليل الوصفي. المنهج المستخدم للحصول على بيانات هذه الأطروحة هو البحث المكتبي.
نتائج هذه الدراسة تشير إلى وجود 16 كلمة أمر بصيغة فعل الأمر و7 كلمات نهي، كما تم معرفة المعنى اللغوي المتنوع لكل كلمة. أما من منظور البلاغة فهي: التهكم، التهديد، التحدي، الإعجاز، الإرشاد، التسلية، الاعتبار، التسخير, الامتنان, الإنذار. أما بالنسبة للتطبيقات التربوية فهي مثل تعليم النقد، وفهم السبب والنتيجة، واتباع الحقائق الواضحة، وغيرها
Abstract
ENGLISH:
The Qur'an is the primary source in Islam and one of the main miracles given to the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). One of the miraculous aspects of the Qur'an is its linguistic features. Among the chapters in the Qur'an is Surah Luqman, which contains many important elements that every human being should know, including creed, morality, and Sharia, which benefit human life. Surah Luqman, like other surahs, contains words that denote commands and prohibitions within an educational context.
This study aims to determine the number of imperative and prohibitive words in Surah Luqman, comprehend the contextual meanings of the imperative and prohibitive words in Surah Luqman from the perspective of balaghah, and explore the educational implication in the verses containing imperative and prohibitive words in Surah Luqman.
In this study, the researcher employs a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. The method used to obtain data for this thesis is library research.
The results of this study indicate the presence of 16 imperative words in the form of fi'il amr (command verbs) and 7 prohibitive words. Additionally, the diverse linguistic meanings of each word were identified. From the perspective of balaghah, their meanings include: sarcasm, threat, challenge, miracle, guidance, consolation, lesson, subjugation, gratitude, and warning. As for the pedagogical applications, they include teaching critical thinking, understanding cause and effect, following clear truths, and others

Untuk membantu memudahkan dalam penerimaan siswa baru di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Klaten dengan lebih efektif dan efisien serta lebih cepat dan akurat.
Sistem Informasi Seleksi Penerimaan Siswa di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Klaten, bisa melakukan beberapa kegiatan yaitu penginputan data pendaftar atau calon siswa, data tahun ajaran, data mata ujian, data soal dan data jawaban.
Proses penerimaan siswa dan hasilnya yang terjadi di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Klaten akan dilakukan langsung oleh komputer, sehingga kebenaran dan ketelitian data akan lebih terjamin. Ditinjau dari segi waktu dan tenaga akan lebih efisien bila menggunakan program komputer.
