    Magnetic-Hydrochar from Galam Bark Waste (Malaleuca cajuputi) as Sasirangan Waste Adsorbent

    Galam wood (Malaleuca cajuputi) is one of the woody plants that is able to grow well in the peat swamp environment of the South Kalimantan wetlands. Research on the synthesis and characterization of magnetic-hydrochar from galam bark waste for the treatment of sasirangan liquid waste has been carried out. This study aims to determine the characteristics of hydrochar and magnetic-hydrochar against the adsorption ability of sasirangan liquid waste. The results showed that the modification of galam bark into hydrochar and magnetic-hydrochar produced different characteristics based on the analysis of functional groups of infrared spectra. The surface morphology of hydrochar and magnetic-hydrochar also showed the significant differences based on scanning electron microscope (SEM) analysis. The resulting magnetic-hydrochar showed a higher adsorption ability to sasirangan waste than the hydrochar of galam bark and galam bark without modification.Kayu galam (Malaleuca cajuputi) merupakan salah satu tanaman kayu yang mampu tumbuh dengan baik di lingkungan rawa gambut lahan basah Kalimantan Selatan. Penelitian tentang sintesis dan karakterisasi magnetic-hydrochar dari limbah kulit kayu galam untuk pengolahan limbah cair sasirangan telah dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik hydrochar dan magnetic-hydrochar terhadap kemampuan absorpsi limbah cair sasirangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modifikasi kulit kayu galam menjadi hydrochar dan magnetic-hydrochar menghasilkan karakteristik yang berbeda berdasarkan analisis gugus fungsi dari spektra infra merah. Morfologi permukaan hydrochar dan magnetic-hydrochar juga menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan berdasaran analisis Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). Magnetic-hydrochar yang dihasilkan menunjukkan kemampuan absorpsi terhadap limbah cair sasirangan yang lebih tinggi dibanding hydrochar kulit kayu galam dan kulit kayu galam tanpa modifikasi

    Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana mekanisme implementasi akad salam terhadap penjualan kapal di Luaor Kabupaten Majene dan mengetahui apakah jual beli penjualan kapal sudah sesuai Syariah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan berupa studi kasus dengan pendekatan deskriptif . Sumber data yang digunakan adalad data primer yaitu data yang diperoleh langsung dari sumber utama. Pengumpulan data yaitu observasi wawancara dan dokumentasi yang dimana penulis turun langsung kelapangan. Hasil yang diperoleh penulis dari penelitian ini mengenai mekanisme implementasi akad salam terhadap penjualan kapal di Luaor sudah sesuai dengan pengertian akad salam, akan tetapi mereka tidak mengetahui bahwa transaksi yang mereka lakukan menggunakaan akad salam, dikarenakan minimnya pendidikaan yang ada disana sehingga akad salam awam bagi mereka. Data collection is observation interviews and documentation where the author goes directly to the field. The results obtained by the author of this study regarding the implementation mechanism of the salam contract on the sale of ships in Luaor are in accordance with the understanding of the salam contract, but they do not know that the transactions they carry out use the salam contract, due to the lack of education there so that the salam contract is unfamiliar to them.     Currently the era of the free market is getting closer, we consume a lot of food that comes from imports. Most of the halal issues are questioned and still need serious supervision from both the government and the community, especially consumers who are Muslim. In this case, consumer protection for products on the market is the duty of the government and society to avoid consuming non-halal food. Therefore, the regulations governing the inclusion of halal-labeled food products must really be implemented so that no more consumers feel disadvantaged. The problems in this research are first, how is the legal protection for consumers on Lindt chocolate products that are not labeled halal (study at the Tourism Market, Senapelan District, Pekanbaru City). Second, what are the obstacles in legal protection for consumers on Lindt chocolate products that are not labeled halal (study at the Tourism Market, Senapelan District, Pekanbaru City). The research method that the author uses is a type of empirical sociological research method, namely the type of research carried out by non-doctrinal or survey methods where surveys are carried out directly in the field. The nature of this research is descriptive qualitative, then the data used using primary and secondary data. In drawing conclusions, the writer uses inductive thinking method, which is a general statement into a statement or a blunt statement that is specific. Regarding the results of the research and discussion that the authors found: first, legal protection for consumers on Lindt chocolate products that are not labeled halal at the Tourism Market, Senapelan District, Pekanbaru City has not been implemented properly, where there is a huge number of foods without halal labels circulating that do not meet several aspects of the label. Halal and registration by BPOM and LPPOM MUI due to lack of awareness of business actors and lack of supervision.     Effect of hydrothermal time on the hydrochar characteristics of galam (Malaleuca leucadendra) bark and application tests as methylene blue adsorbent

    Production of galam wood produces bark waste that is disposed in around of the production site without processing. The use of galam bark waste is very necessary to reduce waste and its problems in the environment and optimize the potential of galam wood as a typical Kalimantan plant. In this research, modification of galam bark biomass (Malaleuca leucadendra) into hydrochar through a hydrothermal process with variations of hydrothermal time and its use for methylene blue adsorbent has been done. The hydrothermal process was carried out at the temperature of 200˚C for 3 hours, 6 hours, and 12 hours. The characterization of hydrochar substrate using FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy) showed the decrease in absorption intensity of 47% and a shift in several wavenumbers. The characterization using SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) showed that there are morphological changes on the surface of the hydrochar become to more holes after the hydrothermal process. The optimum condition for adsorption occurred at pH 7 for 10 minutes. The adsorption capacity of methylene blue increased from 44.70 mg/g to 45.82, 46.17, and 46.90 mg/g after hydrothermal process. The results also showed that the adsorption followed the Freundlich isothrm which showed a tendency for multilayer interactions on the surface of the galam barks after the hydrothermal process
