In particular, name disambiguation is required to allow accurate publication lists, citation counts and impact measures to be determined. This paper describes a graph-based approach to author disambiguation on large-scale citation networks. Using self-citation, co-authorship and document source analyses, AKTiveAuthor clusters papers, achieving precision of 0.997 and recall of 0.818 over a test group of eight surname clusters

He concludes that in contrast to previous codes of procedure the new law does not reflect any particular ideology; it rather resembles a manual that instructs officials on how to bring a case to completion. The metamorphosis of the communist party: from entity to system and from system towards an entity
No full textA complex analytical framework, the Interactive Party state model (IPS), is offered for revealing the structural and dynamic background of opposite processes: first, the development of the communist party as a political entity into a politically monopolized regime and then to a social system; second, the retreat of the party as a social system towards a politically monopolized regime or a political entity during the process of transformation into another system. We shall point to the fact that it is the structural background of the differences of the transformation process that brings about the different sequence of the retreat of the party as a social system from economic or political sub-fields first. No full textThe author offers an evaluation of the frameworks for increased U.S. presence in Europe after 2015, European Reassurance Initiative and Operation Atlantic Resolve. Recalling deterrence theory he argues that even though increased American presence creates the false image of deterrence, we should not agree with RAND Corporation’s suggestion that the number of U.S. forces should be substantially and permanently increased in Europe, because this would lead to an arms race and negative security seeking spiral, as in the Cold War.A szerző az amerikai katonai erők 2015 után megnövelt európai jelenlétének keretet adó Európai Viszontbiztosítási Kezdeményezést és az Operation Atlantic Resolve elemeit vizsgálja.
