Full text linkPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan makna struktur dan kearifan lokal dalam cerita rakyat keramat kuda di Desa Gelugur Langkat, Kecamatan Salapian, Kabupaten Langkat, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan data kualitatif. Alat pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah observasi dan wawancara dengan informan yang mengetahui cerita rakyat keramat kuda. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu melakukan ovservasi dan wawancara langsung dengan masyarakat. Menjabarkan cerita rakyat keramat kuda dengan menganalisis struktur dan bentuk-bentuk kearifan lokal dan menyimpukan hasil penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil keseluruan penelitian ini menunjukan struktur dari cerita rakyat keramat kuda meliputi tema, tokoh, latar, alur. Tema dari cerita rakyat keramat kuda ini adalah tentang masyarakat yang mempercayai pemujaan keramat kuda. Latar tempatnya di hutan, ladang cengkeh, dan sungai. Tokoh utamanya Bolang dan Nondong sepasang suami istri yang mempercayai pemujaan keramat kuda. Alur yang digunakan di dalam cerita rakyat keramat kuda yaitu alur campuran. Cerita rakyat keramat kuda terdapat bentuk-bentuk kearifan lokal yang meliputi kerja keras, kesopansantunan, disiplin, kejujuran, komitmen, gotong royong, pikiran positif, rasa syukur, dan peduli lingkungan

Hari Putranto Kata Kunci: pengembangan, media pembelajaran, web komunitas. Electronic learning (e-learning) merupakan salah satu bentuk media pembelajaran yang marak dikembangkan. Bentuk e-learning sangat beragam, antara lain: animasi, internet, video tutorial, website, dan lain sebagainya. Salah satu bentuk e-learning yang kerap dijumpai adalah website. Website yang memuat konten pembelajaran mendukung siswa untuk belajar secara mandiri. Sifat website yang bisa diakses kapan pun dan dimana pun menjadikan website pembelajaran memiliki keunggulan yang tidak dimiliki saat pembelajaran di kelas. Berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara dengan beberapa guru SMA di Kota Malang muncul salah satu fakta, yakni siswa membutuhkan sumber belajar yang tidak hanya menyajikan materi TIK sesuai dengan kurikulum sekolah, tetapi juga menyediakan fitur forum untuk mendiskusikan hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan TIK. Dengan demikian, ketika siswa SMA yang ingin mengikuti perlombaan tentang TIK, siswa dapat memperluas wawasannya melalui forum diskusi dan siswa dapat mengasah kemampuannya dengan mengerjakan latihan soal. Berdasarkan paparan di atas, akan dikembangkan website komunitas sebagai media pembelajaran TIK untuk siswa SMA Negeri se Kota Malang. Web komunitas ini selanjutnya disebut Web Education atau WebEdu. WebEdu ini menerapkan model pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) dan model pengembangan Prototyping. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket untuk menilai media dan skor latihan soal sebagai indikator kelayakan WebEdu. Hasil validasi WebEdu pada masing-masing tahapan uji coba, yaitu (1) persentase hasil validasi ahli media sebesar 98% dan WebEdu dinyatakan valid; (2) persentase hasil validasi ahli materi sebesar 83,33% dan WebEdu dinyatakan valid; dan (3) persentase hasil uji coba pemakaian WebEdu terhadap siswa sebesar 85,4% dan WebEdu dinyatakan valid. WebEdu dapat membantu siswa untuk memperdalam pemahaman terhadap suatu materi. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari perolehan skor latihan soal pada WebEdu dibandingkan dengan skor ulangan harian siswa, dengan hasil sebagai berikut: (1) di SMAN 3 Malang, siswa memperoleh skor tertinggi 100, skor terendah 75, dan skor rata-rata meningkat dari 84,4 menjadi 87,9; (2) di SMAN 8 Malang, siswa memperoleh skor tertinggi 100, skor terendah 80, dan skor rata-rata meningkat dari 87,4 menjadi 91,1; dan (3) di SMAN 9 Malang, siswa memperoleh skor tertinggi 95, skor terendah 65, dan skor rata-rata meningkat dari 76,78 menjadi 81,48. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa WebEdu valid digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Selain itu, WebEdu dapat membantu siswa untuk memperdalam pemahaman terhadap suatu materi.
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. The standards of care in nursing function as a basis to determine the extent to which the quality of nursing care has public accountability. These standards also serve as guidelines and basic evaluation for the implementation of nursing care. This study aimed to determine the implementation of the standards of nursing care at the inpatient wards in RSUD dr. R. Soeprapto, Cepu, and employed a descriptive survey design. The population was all nurses in the hospital who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria with a total of 77 nurses recruited using the purposive sampling technique. This study used the nursing care standard variable which was identified to know the success of the implementation of standards in the inpatient wards. The data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the univariate analysis, applied to every single variable to give a description of the population and the presentation of the descriptive outcomes. The results of the study indicated that the implementation of nursing care in RSUD dr. R. Soeprapto, Cepu was categorized as sufficient with a value of 77%. The implementation of nursing assessment and nursing diagnoses standards was categorized as sufficient (64%) and less (70%), respectively. Furthermore, the implementation of standards of the nursing care plan, nursing care implementation, nursing care evaluation, and nursing care documentation were categorized as sufficient (72%), good (93%), less (100%), and good (73%%), respectively. The implementation of nursing care should be carried out systematically starting from the stage of assessment, diagnosis, care planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation based on the standards of nursing care.

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
Full text linkWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

No full textWe have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
