Berdasarkan hal tersebut dilakukan penelitian pembelajaran mengidentifikasi ide pokok dalam artikel dengan metode inquiry pada siswa kelas X SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan peneliti melaksanakan pembelajaran mengidentifikasi ide pokok dalam artikel dengan metode inquiry, mengetahui kemampuan siswa kelas X SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung dalam mengidentifikasi ide pokok dalam artikel dengan metode inquiry, dan mengetahui ketepatan metode inquiry digunakan dalam pembelajaran mengidentifikasi ide pokok dalam artikel pada siswa kelas X SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan teknik penelitian studi pustaka, observasi, uji coba, dan tes. Adapun hasil penelitiannya terbukti bahwa metode inquiry tepat digunakan dalam pembelajaran mengidentifikasi ide pokok pada siswa kelas X SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung dengan hasil perhitungan statistik thitung sebesar 5,1, ttabel sebesar 2,04 pada tingkat kepercayaan 95%, dan db sebesar 29

Full text linkThis paper comes from the assumption that writing skill is a difficult skill to acquire. This is because there is a limited variety of media used by teachers, which makes it difficult for students to express their ideas. One of the media that is considered appropriate that can improve students' enthusiasm in the process of learning to present data information in an explanation text is filmstrip media. The goal of this paper is to analyze students' skills in presenting data information in an explanation text by using filmstrip media and the effectiveness of filmstrip media in learning to present data information in an explanation text. This research was conducted using a pseudo-experimental method and Nonequivalent Control Group Design as the research design. The results of the research are: (1) students are able to present data information in an explanation text using filmstrip media, as evidenced by the mean value of the pretest score is 52.77 which has increased with a mean value of posttest score that is 92.59; (2) filmstrip media is effectively used to facilitate students in conveying ideas in learning to present data information in an explanation text with an Asymp.sig. (2-tailed) of 0.006 in the Mann Whitney test; and (3) there was a differences in students' skills in the experiment class and control class as evidenced by the Wilcoxon test results which showed the Asymp.sig. (2-tailed) in both classes is 0.000
Penerapan Model Porpe Berbantuan Media Animasi Plotagon dalam Pembelajaran Menulis Teks Cerita Fantasi Berorientasi pada Berpikir Kreatif Peserta Didik Kelas VII SMPN 35 Bandung
Full text linkThis study is based on the selection of models and media that are less creative and innovative in learning to write fantasy story texts so that students feel bored and have difficulty in writing activities. This study aims to test the effectiveness of learning to write fantasy story texts with the porpe model assisted by plotagon animation media on students of class VII SMPN 35 Bandung. This study uses a quantitative method of the quasi-experimental type and a true experimental pretest-posttest control group design, and the research subjects consist of 2 classes. The results of the study showed 1) the author was able to plan and implement learning to write fantasy story texts, as evidenced by the scores obtained of 3.63 and 3.55 with a very good category, 2) the ability of students after receiving treatment had reached the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP) with a total average obtained of 89.02. 3) the difference in student abilities before and after receiving treatment using the plotagon animation media-assisted porpe model experienced a significant increase as evidenced by the wilcoxon test results showing an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) <0.05. 4) the plotagon animation media-assisted porpe model is effective for use in learning to write fantasy story texts as evidenced by the results of the maan whitney test showing an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value, namely 0.00, <0.05. which means that the plotagon animation media-assisted porpe model is more effective to use compared to the control class.
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
Full text linkWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

Kajian Sosiologi Sastra: Bentuk Interaksi Sosial Antar Tokoh Dalam Novel Lebih Senyap Dari Bisikan Karya Andina Dwifatma
Full text linkThis research aims to analyze the form of social interaction between characters in the novel Lebih Senyap Dari Bisikan by Andina Dwifatma, and utilize the results of the analysis as an alternative teaching material for SMA class XII students. This research is a descriptive qualitative research whose analysis results will be described narratively. The data source in this analysis is the novel Lebih Senyap Dari Bisikan by Andina Dwifatma. The findings of the analysis show that this novel contains social interactions that are associative and dissociative. Associative social interaction consists of cooperation when the characters realize that they have the same interests, accommodation when the characters are willing to adjust to the new environment, and assimilation when the characters try to reduce differences. Meanwhile, dissociative social interactions consist of contravention when the characters cause disagreement with each other, and conflict when the characters oppose each other by hitting each other. The results of the analysis are then adjusted to the demands of the 2013 curriculum based on Core Competencies and Basic Competencies and made a product in the form of teaching materials to support the learning of SMA class XII students
