    Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) adalah salah satu teknologi yang memanfaatkan sistem radar untuk menentukan letak suatu objek yang berada di bawah permukaan tanah. Namun, ketebalan permukaan tanah yang beragam mengakibatkan sulitnya mencari titik letak objek yang akurat di bawah tanah. Tugas akhir ini merancang dan merealisasikan antena pemancar yaitu antena bowtie dengan AMC pada ground plane yang bekerja pada frekuensi 2,1 GHz. Tugas Akhir ini menggunakan Artificial Magnetic Conductor (AMC) sebagai ground plane untuk mendapatkan gain yang tinggi, meningkatkan bandwidth, dan menghasilkan antena yang low-profile untuk antena GPR. Antena untuk GPR memiliki karakteristik Ultra Wide-Band (UWB) dengan nilai fractional bandwidth ?25%. Selain itu, nilai late-time ringing juga harus dikurangi hingga -30 dB agar tidak menyebabkan munculnya efek masking terhadap objek yang dideteksi. Efek masking adalah tertutupnya gelombang pantul utama dari objek atau target. Tugas Akhir ini menggunakan software untuk perancangan antena bowtie dan merealisasikan antena tersebut dengan menggunakan substrat dielektrik RT Duroid 5880 dengan konstanta dielektrik (?_r) sebesar 2,2 dan ketebalan (h) 1,57 mm. Lapisan ground-plane dirancang dengan menggunakan Artificial Magnetic Conductor (AMC) dengan substrat FR-4 Eproxy dengan konstanta dielektrik (?_r) sebesar 4,3 dan ketebalan (h) 1,6 mm. Frekuensi kerja dari antena bowtie untuk sistem GPR adalah 1,6 - 2,6 GHz. Teknik pencatuan microstrip line dipilih dalam Tugas Akhir ini dikarenakan proses fabrikasinya yang lebih sederhana. Hasil realisasi antena menunjukkan bahwa antena memiliki bandwidth sebesar 510 MHz, return loss -15,17 dB dan VSWR 1,15 untuk efisiensi daya pancar. Pola radiasi pada antena bowtie dengan AMC adalah berbentuk unidirectional dengan gain sebesar 4,351 dB. Akan tetapi, nilai ringing level menjadi tinggi sebesar -19,18 dB. Sehingga, hasil perancangan dan realisasi pada antena bowtie dengan menggunakan AMC belum sepenuhnya memenuhi spesifikasi yang diharapkan untuk penggunaan antena sistem GPR khususnya pada nilai ringing level-nya.     Pengembangan Antena Bowtie 2,1 GHz Terintegrasi Artificial Magnetic Conductor (AMC) untuk Aplikasi Antena Transmitter pada Sistem Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)

    This study presented the development of the bowtie antenna system design as the transmitter in the Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) system. The Artificial Magnetic Conductor (AMC) reflector was integrated into the antenna system as a ground plane to obtain a high gain, increase bandwidth and produce a low-profile antenna. The antenna is designed to work at a center frequency of 2.1 GHz with a range of 1.6 - 2.6 GHz and has ultrawideband (UWB) characteristics with a fractional bandwidth of ≥ 25%. In addition, the value of late-time ringing must also be reduced to -30 dB to prevent masking effects on the detected object. Antenna modeling and simulation was done to obtain the optimum prototype design. Bowtie antenna realization was carried out using RT Duroid 5880 as a substrate with dielectric constant (εr) = 2.2 and thickness (h) = 1.57 mm. The AMC reflector was fabricated with FR-4 Epoxy substrate with a dielectric constant (εr) = 4.4 and thickness (h) = 1.6 mm. The antenna realization results show that the antenna has bandwidth = 510 MHz, return loss = -15.17 dB and VSWR = 1.15. The AMC integrated bowtie antenna radiation pattern produces a unidirectional pattern with gain = 4.2 dB. However, the ringing level becomes high by -19.18 dB. Further development is needed to achieve ringing level values   that meet the GPR antenna system specifications

To deliver cargoes from loading port to discharging port at the ample time, doing a maintenance of deck cargo appliances is one of important things for smoothness of loading process. Based on that fact, the author make the final project with the tittle is “Optimization of maintenance deck crane appliances to support loading and unloading process effective at MV Isa Express”. During doing a maintenance of deck cargo appliances, the author found two main problems: What problems occur in the loading and unloading process so it is necessary to hold maintenance of deck crane appliances, then what kind of efforts that have to do for smoothness loading and unloading process by deck crane appliances maintenance. Based on the problems during deck cargo appliances maintenance, there is some hypothesis, those are : it is suspected that disturbance of deck cargo appliances at MV. Isa Express due to poor maintenance for crane that effects on loading/unloading process. In this thesis, the method of research were used urgency, seriousness, growth (USG) method. The method of completion and withdrawal of data used observation techniques, interview, and take documentation. Meanwhile, the discussion of the thesis used qualitative descriptive analysed technique. Based on the analysis, the maintenance of crane cannot be done regularly, it affects to the failure of deck cargo appliances and loading/unloading process will be overdue/disturbed. It is because of the lack amount of supporting appliances so ships’ crew cannot work well. From the analysis results, the conclusion is crane have to be maintain regularly using maintenance method. The method must be carried out in order and good manner as per schedule, so the failures of deck cargo appliances can be avoided and it is ready for the next loading/unloading process.     Metode Pelaksanaan Proyek Embung Kalisat II Kecamatan Rembang, Kabupaten Pasuruan

    Embung atau waduk kecil adalah suatu kolam penampungan air pada musim hujan dan dimanfaatkan pada musim kemarau. Istilah embung berasal dari Nusa Tenggara Timur yang memiliki arti danau kecil. Embung sebagai waduk kecil hanya memiliki tinggi maksimum 15 meter dan volume tampungan airnya kurang dari 500.000 m3. Pada umumnya, embung hanya melayani kebutuhan air untuk satu desa saja dan pencanangan untuk pembangunan embung diusulkan oleh masyarakat setempat. Pada proyek Pembangunan Embung Kalisat II, owner yaitu PU Provinsi Jawa Timur memberikan desain berupa gambar perencanaan kepada kontraktor. Namun pada gambar perencanaan tidak dijelaskan mengenai metode pelaksanaan konstruksi sehingga kontraktor harus membuat “Panduan” cara mewujudkan gambar teknis perencanaan tersebut menjadi pekerjaan/kegiatan yang nyata di lapangan. Metode yang digunakan penulis dalam pembuatan panduan pelaksanaan proyek Embung Kalisat II berdasarkan suvey di lapangan yang dilakukan ketika penulis sedang menjalani kerja praktik. Penulis melakukan wawancara terhadap kontraktor dan pihak yang terkait untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai realisasi pelaksanaan proyek pembangunan embung. Selain itu, penulis menggunakan studi literatur sebagai dasar teori untuk beberapa item pekerjaan di lapangan. Dalam pelaksanaan pembangunan Embung Kalisat di Desa Kalisat, Kecamatan Rembang, proses pengukuran menggunakan theodolit untuk memudahkan pembagian sudut As embung dan area potongan embung. Untuk proses penimbunan, tanah timbunan diperoleh dari lokasi proyek dan pemadatannya menggunakan vibrating roller sebanyak 6 lintasan dengan ketebalan hamparan 40 cm per layer. Sedangkan untuk proses pengecoran secara keseluruhan, menggunakan beton mutu K-175. ========================================================================================= A small dam or reservoir is a water storage ponds in the rainy season and utilized during the dry season. The term dam comes from East Nusa Tenggara meaning small lake. As a small reservoir dam only has a maximum height of 15 meters and the water catchment of the volume less than 500,000 m3. In General, the dam only serves the needs of water for one village alone and the groundbreaking for the construction of the dam was proposed by local people. On the construction of the Dam Kalisat II, owner i.e. PU East Java province gives the design form of the planning picture to the contractor. But on the image of planning not described about the method of implementation of the construction so that the contractor should make a "instructions" how to realize technical drawings of planning becomes a real job/activity in the field. The method used by the authors in making the implementation guide of Embung Kalisat II project based on survey in the field done when the author is undergoing practical work. The authors conducted interviews with contractors and related parties to obtain information on the realization of embung development project implementation. In addition, the authors used literature studies as theoretical basis for some work items in the field. In the implementation of Kalisat dam construction in Kalisat Village, Rembang District, the measurement process uses theodolite to facilitate the distribution of dam angle As and cut area of dam. For the landfilling process, the embankment soil is obtained from the project site and compaction using a vibrating roller of 6 trajectories with a thickness of a stretch of 40 cm per layer.
