In this article the writer reveals that many prominent Punjabi Poets wrote Poetic Commentary ofSura Yousaf (Para of Holy Quran). Some of them present their translation or commentary along withQuranic text while many of them only narrated the story of Hazrat Yousaf Alaihus Salam using poeticform of masnavi. The author of the article selected an unknown Punjabi poet naming Syed GhulamMustafa who published his commentary in 1303 after Hijra and 1886 A.D. The author presented hisanalytical study of this book and highlighted the poets great. Contribution towards Quranic Translationsduring colonial Punjab. The writers of Punjabi literary histories are still unaware of his book

Exploiting the Reconfigurability of ρ-VEX Processor for Real-Time Robotic Applications

    No full text
Autonomous mobile robots generally have limited computational power on-board, and they have to perform their tasks in real-time in order to interact with their surroundings effectively. Therefore, there is a need to utilize the available computational capabilities efficiently. The ρ-VEX is a run-time reconfigurable VLIW processor. This unique processor allows separation of its issue lanes to form independently operating processing cores. Switching between these configurations during run-time allows optimizing the computing resources for the task(s) it is performing. In this project FreeRTOS is ported to the ρ-VEX processor and a control layer is developed. FreeRTOS manages the applications based on given real time parameters. The control layer decides the number of active cores (hardware contexts) and issue width of each core to best match the processing requirements of the applications. In this way, FreeRTOS and the control layer together can reconfigure the number of active cores at run-time. This is a very unique feature of this thesis project and can not be found in any other multicore implementation of FreeRTOS. The control layer along with FreeRTOS provides the user a facility to run applications under real-time constraints and with the best possible efficiency. In order to evaluate the performance, the overhead of the FreeRTOS is quantified and a performance comparison is made between several configurations of this system. Moreover, impact of reconfigurability of the ρ-VEX on the schedulability of real-time applications is measured and it is concluded that (indeed) reconfigurability of ρ-VEX improves the schedulability of the real-time applicationsElectrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer ScienceComputer Engineerin

Computation of Zagreb and atom-bond connectivity indices of certain families of dendrimers by using automorphism group action

    No full text
In QSAR/QSPR studies, topological indices are utilized to predict the bioactivity of chemical compounds. In this paper, the closed forms of different Zagreb indices and atom–bond connectivity indices of regular dendrimers G[n] and H[n] in terms of a given parameter n are determined by using the automorphism group action. It was reported that these connectivity indices are correlated with some physicochemical properties and are used to measure the level of branching of the molecular carbon-atom skeleton

GOLD AND OIL PRICES VERSUS STOCK EXCHANGE: A CASE STUDY OF PAKISTAN

    No full text
Due to global financial crisis, around the all over the world all developing and under developing countries are facing the low trading profit. In most of the developing country like Pakistan, there is low investment level due to political instability. Due to this condition Karachi stock exchange has the worst sell .Karachi stock exchange is known as the oldest and more profitable stock exchange of Pakistan oil and gold prices are attracting investors towards there not in the stock exchange. This thing is the barrier for the progress of the development of the country. This paper is trying to expose that stock market is going to down due to these variables. For checking the impact of oil and gold prices on the Karachi stock exchange. We have used that secondary data for this study. For this purpose we have taken data from Karachi stock exchanges from the period of 1996 to 2013.We have applies correlation matrix for this purpose. the result has shown that KSE 100 has return is 0.014503 and GDP 0.058793 ,gold 0.012026 and oil 0.00919.karachi stock exchange return has standard value is 0.089982,while gold standard deviation 0.038716 and oil standard deviation value is 0.103375. The correlations have shown that in these markets there is not positive relationship.karachi stock exchange and GDP have inverse relationship with gold market. These results have also shown that oil growth has a significant relationship with KSE100 and GDP.For the predication correlation is not considering an authentic measur

Examining Slavery\u27s Architectural Finishes: The Importance of Interdisciplinary Investigations of Humble Spaces

This thesis studies the evidence of architectural finishes in slave dwellings as a vehicle for understanding their lives, experiences and culture. Reviewing the finishes analyses of slave quarters in eight case studies, the author examines evidence of original finishes and observes how they can inform our understanding of slavery, including the possibility of a transfer of color traditions from Africa. The author also considers architectural and archaeological investigations performed on slave dwellings as a supplement to understanding these spaces and the use of African culture as a form of cultural resistance. The limited but important evidence underlines the need for additional research on the experience of slave life as drawn from material evidence

Political distinction in the British anti-capitalist movement

This article argues that Bourdieu's theory of practice provides a useful and dynamic framework which may be used to examine the reproduction of political practice. I use the Bourdieusian theoretical model to analyse and interpret data collected from 30 semi-structured interviews with British anti-capitalist activists from a range of anarchist and socialist political organizations and networks. The interviews reveal a clear case of political distinction between anarchists and socialists. The political history, political methods, and ideology of the activists become embodied and routinized over time. This explains why and how there is a durable ideological division which is consistently reproduced over and over again within sections of the British anti-capitalist movement. © The Author(s) 2011

The Politics of Representation: Muslim Women in the Western Media - An Islamic Feminist Perspective

This qualitative study examines the portrayal of Muslim women in Western media channels from 2015 to 2020, exploring how religion shapes narratives about their personalities, rights, and status. By analyzing media depictions, this research reveals how limited and inaccurate representations restrict Muslim women's economic opportunities and perpetuate harmful stereotypes. In contrast, Islam advocates for women's rights and empowerment. This study fills a significant gap in understanding the impact of Western media on public opinion and Muslim women's experiences. By challenging biases and misconceptions, this research aims to provide an authentic understanding of Muslim women's empowerment. It emphasizes the responsibility of researchers to develop accurate narratives, addressing prejudices and promoting a more just and impartial society. This study's findings will inform strategies for inclusive representation, challenging stereotypes and promoting social change
