Mobile APP pencarian rute trasportasi umum Kota Malang dengan Algoritma Best-Path Planning
ABSTRAK
Angkutan umum yang biasa menyebutnya angkot bukan menjadi rahasia umum lagi akan urgenitasnya dalam mempermudah akses transportasi untuk mencapai tujuan pada suatu daerah khusunya Kota Malang yang sangat familiar dengan sebutan kota pendidikan serta destinasi wisata. Pada akhir-akhir ini, seiring dengan menambahnya kepercayaan masyarakat dalam menggunakan transportasi online dikarenakan kemudahannya dalam mengakses, efisien serta kenyamanan dan juga semakin menurunnya minat masyarakat terhadap angkutan konvensional, maka dibutuhkan persaingan sehat dalam menciptakan kenyamanan yang diterima oleh pengguna jasa tersebut. Pada tugas akhir ini, dikembangkan sebuah aplikasi pada smartphone dengan mengimplementasikan algoritma Best-Path Planning, aplikasi ini nantinya diharapkan akan memudahkan pengguna smartphones untuk mencari rute transportasi umum di Kota Malang. Dari hasil penelitian serta pemberian quisioner terhadap 30 responden yang diantaranya 15 pengguna angkot dan 15 sopir angkot, menghasilkan 24 responden yang diantaranya 15 sopir angkot dan 9 pengguna angkot atau 80% menyatakan bahwa aplikasi ini bagus dalam memberikan rekomendasi angkot dengan benar dan akurat. Sehingga Mobile app ini sangat cocok dipakai masyarakat Kota Malang serta tergolong ke dalam kategori Best Clarification.
ABSTRACT
Public Transportation is not become more secret common of its urgency in facilating transportation acces to reach destination on the area particularly Malang town wich known as the city of education and tourist destination. Recently, along with increasing public trust in using online trasnportation caused acces easily, efficient and pleasurable. Otherwise, the society had been interest reduced to public transportation, Therefore, it is needed fair competition in creating the cosiness that be accepted by service users. In this final project, it’s developed an application on smartphone by implementing Best-Path Planning algorithm, this application will hopefully facilitate smartphone users to find public transportation route in Malang City. From the results of the research and distribution of quisioner to 30 respondents, among which 15 users of public transportation and 15 public transportation drivers, 24 respondents including 15 public transportation drivers and 9 users of public transportation or 80% stated that this application is reliable in giving public transportation recommendations correctly and accurately. So this Mobile aplication is very suitable for malang’s people and classified into the category of Best Clarification.

Salafiyah: Sejarah dan Konsepsi
This article discusses salafiyah in both history and conception. This is important to be studied further, because lately, especially in Indonesia there is an interesting phenomenon in which there is one group to identify themselves as salafi, slightly different from the mainstream of Muslims and claiming to be more strictly committed following the manhaj salaf al-sÄlih and the scholars which is in line with their understanding. One characteristic of this class is that it tends to be too strict in understanding religion so that it does not correspond to the wasatiyyah (mid) character of Islam. The consequence is that the exclusiveness shown by this group towards other Muslims, does not acknowledge the scholarly orbit of scholars outside the scholars who are inconsistent with their manhÄj and consider their group alone who present the teachings of Islam in line with the understanding of the salaf. Another consequence is to easily mislead other Muslims when there is a difference between their understanding and the group. Model pengembangan sekolah berbasis multikulturalisme dalam internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter: Studi multikasus di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri Taruna Nala Jawa Timur dan SMA Thursina IIBS
ABSTRAK
Fenomena intoleransi, diskriminasi dan Permasalahan sosial bangsa Indonesia dibuktikan dengan riset Setara Institute yang melaporkan telah terjadinya pelanggaran kebebasan beragama sejumlah 420 tindakan selama tahun 2020 serta index Government Restrictions Index (GRI) sebesar 7,9 dan angka kekerasan sosial yang ditunjukkan oleh Social Hostilities Index (SHI) sebesar 4,8 diantara negara-negara lainnya. Langkah preventif yang paling cocok dengan mengoptimalkan pendidikan sekolah sebagai sistem sosial artinya sekolah diharapkan mampu bersinergi dengan nilai-nilai masyarakat. Ketersambungan interaksi internal dan lingkungan eksternal menjadikan sekolah untuk lebih terbuka (open system) sehingga memicu terbentuknya multikulturalisme di sekolah dan atau menjadikan sekolah sebagai sekolah multikultural.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) menganalisa ideologi sekolah berbasis multikulturalisme, 2) nilai-nilai karakter berbasis multikulturalisme, 3) implementasi budaya pembelajaran berbasis multikulturalisme dan 4) implementasi lingkungan pembelajaran berbasis multikulturalisme di SMA Negeri Taruna Nala Jawa Timur dan SMA Thursina IIBS Malang.
Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui open ended interview dan unstructured interviewing, observasi partisipan dan studi dokumenter. Penetapan informan awal dalam penelitian ini melalui purposive sampling yaitu Kepala Sekolah. Selanjutnya Wakil-wakil kepala sekolah, pengasuh asrama, para guru dan lain-lainnya yang keturutsertaannya menjadi informan secara bergulir didasarkan pada teknik snowball sampling. Analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan Confirmability, Dependability, Credibility, Transferability dan Utilization.
Temuan menunjukkan bahwa 1) Model sekolah umum menempatkan Nilai Nasionalisme dan Kebangsaan dengan paradigma Ketarunaan (Ideologi Open System Berkultur Ketarunaan) sebagai sumber ideologi khas sekolah tersebut sedangkan Sekolah umum berbasis islam memposisikan Al-Qur’an dan Hadits menjadi pegangan atau sumber ideologi dalam paradigma islam rahmatan lil alamin dan Ahlussunnah Wal Jamaah (Ideologi “Madu Peradaban”); 2) Nilai-Nilai Karakter Multikulturalis memuat dua nilai karakter yaitu karakter kebangsaan (Manusia Bangsa) dan karakter keagamaan (manusia agama) yang akan membentuk profil manusia indonesia yang paripurna. Masing-masing terdiri dari tiga dimensi diantaranya dimensi intelektual (domain kognitif), dimensi mental kejiwaan (domain afektif) dan dimensi Fisik-aksi (domain psikomotorik); 3) Budaya pembelajaran berbasis multikulturalisme dilaksanakan melalui pertama, Perencanaan: Analisis Lingkungan Internal dan Eksternal, mengidentifikasi Visi, Misi, Kebijakan dan Program Manajemen Sekolah Berbasis Multikulturalisme, Penetapan Tujuan dan Sasaran serta Penyusunan Perencanaan Program dan kegiatan serta penganggaran berbasis multikulturalisme; Kedua, Pengorganisasian: Sosialisasi kebijakan sekolah berbasis multikulturalisme, pembagian tugas seluruh warga sekolah serta penugasan dan pendelegasian wewenang; Ketiga, Pelaksanaan: Sistem pembelajaran dan pengasuhan yang terintegrasi serta Aktualisasi Tata Kelola Lingkungan Pembelajaran Sebagai Sistem Pendukung yang Terintegrasi; Empat, Pengawasan: Menentukan standar keberhasilan model pengembangan sekolah berbasis multikulturalisme, Membandingkan perencanaan dengan hasil, Menganalisis dan membuat rencana tindak lanjut dan Memberikan laporan Pelaksanaan Sekolah Berbasis Multikulturalisme; 4) Lingkungan pembelajaran berbasis multikulturalisme memuat perpaduan dua unsur yaitu unsur yang bersifat tak berwujud (intangible resources) terdiri dari kebijakan penetapan kuota peserta didik multikultural, kebijakan dan program seleksi peserta didik multikultural, program orientasi multikulturalisme, dan program-program penguatan karakter. dan yang berwujud (tangible resources) terdiri dari penyiapan sumber daya manusia multikultural dan rekayasa fisik.
Temuan formatif memunculkan model pengembangan sekolah “integratif inklusif” dalam internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter.
ABSTRACT
The phenomenon of intolerance, discrimination and social problems of the Indonesian nation is proven by Setara Institute research which reports that there have been 420 violations of religious freedom during 2020 as well as a Government Restrictions Index (GRI) index of 7.9 and the number of social violence indicated by the Social Hostilities Index (SHI) of 4.8 among other countries. The most suitable preventive step is to optimize school education as a social system, meaning that schools are expected to be able to synergize with community values. The connection between internal interactions and the external environment makes schools more open (open system) thereby triggering the formation of multiculturalism in schools
The purpose of this research is to analyze and reveal (1) multiculturalism-based school ideology, (2) multiculturalism-based character values, (3) implementation of multiculturalism-based learning culture and (4) implementation of multiculturalism-based learning environment at Taruna Nala State Senior High School, East Java and Thursina IIBS Malang Senior High School.
The research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through open ended interviews and unstructured interviews, participant observation and documentary studies. The initial informant was determined in this research through purposive sampling, namely the headmaster. Furthermore, the deputy principals, dormitory caretakers, teachers and others whose participation became informants on a rolling basis were based on the snowball sampling technique. Data analysis uses an interactive analysis model. Data validity is carried out using Confirmability, Dependability, Credibility, Transferability and Utilization.
The findings show that 1) The public-school model places Nationalism and Nationalism Values with the Tarunaan paradigm (Open System Ideology with Tarunaan Culture) as the source of the school's distinctive ideology, while Islamic-based public schools display the Al-Qur'an and Hadith as the guide or source of ideology in the Islamic paradigm. rahmatan lil alamin and Ahlussunnah Wal Jamaah (Ideology of "Honey of Civilization"); 2) Multiculturalist Character Values contain two-character values, namely national character (Nation Man) and religious character (religious man) which will form a complete Indonesian human profile. Each consists of three dimensions including the intellectual dimension (cognitive domain), the mental and psychological dimension (affective domain) and the physical-action dimension (psychomotor domain); 3) A learning culture based on multiculturalism is implemented through first, Planning: Analysis of the Internal and External Environment, identification of Vision, Mission, Policies and School Management Programs Based on Multiculturalism, Determination of Goals and Targets as well as Preparation of Program Planning and activities as well as budgeting based on multiculturalism; Second, Organizing: Socialization of school policies based on multiculturalism, distribution of tasks for all school members as well as assignment and delegation of authority; Third, Implementation: Integrated learning and care system and Actualization of Learning Environment Governance as an Integrated Support System; Four, Supervision: Determining the standards for success of the multiculturalism-based school development model, Comparing plans with results, Analyzing and making follow-up plans and Providing reports on the Implementation of Multiculturalism-Based Schools; 4) A multiculturalism-based learning environment contains a combination of two elements, namely intangible resources consisting of multicultural student quota determination policies, multicultural student selection policies and programs, multiculturalism orientation programs, and character strengthening programs. and tangible resources consist of preparing multicultural human resources and physical engineering.
The formative findings gave rise to an "inclusive integrative" school development model in the internalization of character values.

يهدف هذا البحث لتحليل مفهوم المدرسة المستندة إلى التعدد الثقافي، وقيم الشخصية المستندة إلى التعدد الثقافي، وتنفيذ ثقافة التعلم المستندة إلى التعدد الثقافي، وتنفيذ بيئة التعلم المستندة إلى التعدد الثقافي في مدرسة الثانوية الحكومية Taruna Nala في جاوا الشرقية ومدرسة الثانوية Thursina مدرسة داخلية إسلامية دولية (IIBS) في مالانج.
يستخدم هذا البحث المنهج الكيفي. تضم البيانات من خلال مقابلات مفتوحة ومقابلات غير منظمة، والمشاركة في الملاحظة، ودراسة الوثائق. تحديد المعلومات الأولية في هذا البحث باستخدام العينة المستهدفة وهي مدير المدرسة ثم نواب مدير المدرسة ومربي السكن والمعلمون وغيرهم الذين يشتركون كمعلومات متداولة مضافا على طريقة snowball sampling. تحليل البيانات باستخدام نموذج تحليل تفاعلي. التحقق لصحة البيانات باستخدام معايير قابلية التحقق والاعتمادية والمصداقية وقابلية النقل والاستغلال.
الاكتشافات تشير إلى أن نموذج المدرسة العامة يضع القيم الوطنية والقومية بفلسفة الذكورية (الأيديولوجيا بنظام مفتوح على ثقافة ذكورية) كمصدر للأيديولوجيا الخاصة بتلك المدرسة، أما في المدرسة العامة المبنية على أساس الإسلام يضع القرآن والحديث مرجعًا أو مصدرًا للأيديولوجيا في سياق إسلام رحمة للعالمين وأهل السنة والجماعة (أيديولوجيا تقدم الحضارة). القيم الشخصية لتعددة الثقافي تتضمن قيمتين وهما الشخصية القومية (إنسان الأمة) والشخصية الدينية (إنسان الدين) التي ستشكل صورة جانبية لإنسان إندونيسيا كاملا. يتألف كل منهما من ثلاثة أبعاد منها البُعد الفكري (المجال المعرفي)، والبُعد النفسي الروحي (المجال العاطفي)، والبُعد الفعلي البدني (المجال الحركي النفسي). يُنفذ ثقافة التعلم المستندة إلى التعددي الثقافي من خلال التدريس والتدريب والرعاية (Jarlatsuh) والتعليم التوازني الشامل. هذه العملية تنتج بناءً لإدارة ثقافة التعلم يضمن على عنصرين أساسيين في العمليات الأكاديمية لزرع قيم الشخصية لتعدد الثقافي وهما تصميم مناهج التعلم لتعدد الثقافي (تكامل مكون بين المنهاج الوطني/المنهاج المستقل، المنهاج التكميلي، والبرامج التكميلية) وتصميم التعلم لتعدد الثقافي (يتألف من برنامج "TTP"، طريقة الميسر، فصول الاختصاص، التعلم القائم على المشروعات، والطريقة المنهجية). يحتوي البيئة التعليمية المستندة إلى التعدد الثقافي على عنصرين وهما العنصر غير الملموس (موارد غير ملموسة) الذي يتألف من سياسات تحديد حصص الطلاب لتعدد الثقافي، وسياسات وبرامج اختيار الطلاب لتعدد الثقافي، وبرامج التوجيه لتعدد الثقافي، وبرامج تعزيز الشخصية. والعنصر الملموس (موارد ملموسة) الذي يتألف من إعداد الموارد البشرية لتعددة الثقافي والهندسة الفيزيائية.

Pengaruh Service Quality dan Brand Image Lembaga Pendidikan terhadap Behavioral Intention Siswa: Studi pada Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Terakreditasi A di Kota Malang

لابد للمؤسسة التعليمية أن تعي كيف تساعد توجيه أفكار أو شعور الطلبة للحصول على السلوك الإيجابي بمعرفة Behavioral Intention لدى الطلبة، حتى يكون الطلبة يستطيعون أن يبلغوا المعلومات الإيجابية إلى من في الخارج، الثبوت مع المؤسسة وإعطاء الاقتراح إلى الآخرين للتسجيل إلى تلك المؤسسة التعليمية. هناك عوامل مؤثرة إلى Behavioral Intention، منها جودة الخدمة وماركة المؤسسة التعليمية. الشعور العالي إلى جودة الخدمة (Superior Service Quality) سيؤدي إلى Behavioral Intention المرجوة (Favorable Service Quality)، لكن Favorable Service Quality يحتاج أيضا إلى ماركة المؤسسة التعليمية

نتائج هذا البحث تدل على أن (1) جودة الخدمة لها تأثير بوجود ردود فرضية H0 والإيجابي الظاهر من معامل التؤخر ب 0,089X1 الثابت بوجود التاثير البين إلى Behavioral Intention الظاهر من نتيجة المعامل 64,6% من 39 المستجيب القائلين موافق و 88 الباقين القائلين موافق جدا بشعور وجود التأثير البين إلى Behavioral Intention. (2) الماركة لها تأثير بوجود ردود فرضية H0 والإيجابي الظاهر من معامل التؤخر ب 0,146X2 الثابت بوجود التاثير البين إلى Behavioral Intention الظاهر من نتيجة المعامل 64,4% (3) جودة الخدمة وماركة المؤسسة التعليمية لها تأثير بوجود ردود فرضية H0 والإيجابي الظاهر من معامل التؤخر ب 64,6%، حتى يكون التأثير من متغير آخر ب 35,4% إلىBehavioral Intention. لذلك، كلما كان شعور الطلبة عاليا عن جودة الخدمة ومارك المؤسسة التعليمية كان Behavioral Intention عاليا أيضا في اقتراح مؤسسة تعليميتهم
ABSTRACT
Educational institutions need to be aware how to help direct the paradigm or perceptions of students to always produce positive behavior by studying student behavioral intention, so that students are able to convey positive information to external parties, stay with the institution and make recommendations to other parties to get education at the educational institution.
Several factors influence behavioral intention, namely service quality and brand image of educational institutions. High perceptions of service quality (superior service quality) will result in favorable behavioral intentions, but favorable behavioral intentions need to be supported by strengthening the brand image of educational institutions
The purpose of the research is (1) analyze the effect of educational institutions ‘s service quality on behavioral intention (2) to analyze the effect of educational institutions’s brand image on behavioral intention (3) to analyze the effect of service quality and brand image of educational institutions on student behavioral intention. The approach in this research is a quantitative approach with data collection using surveys. The instrument technique is a questionnaire. The population of this study were students of A-Accredited Private islamic senior high school in Malang, with a sample size of 128 students. The sampling technique in this study was using proportionate random sampling. Data analysis used Multiple Linear Regression Analysis
The results showed that (1) Service quality has an influence as evidenced by rejecting the hypothesis H0 and positive as shown by the results of the regression coefficient of 0.089X1 which is marked as positive and there is a significant influence on behavioral intention as evidenced by the results of the determination coefficient of 64.6%, of which 39 respondents agreed and The remaining 88 strongly agree with the perception of a significant positive influence on behavioral intention. (2) Brand image has an effect as evidenced by rejecting the H0 hypothesis and is positive as indicated by the results of the regression coefficient of 0.146X2 which is marked as positive and there is a significant influence on behavioral intention as evidenced by the results of the determination coefficient of 64.6% (3) simultaneous service quality and brand image have a significant positive effect as evidenced by the termination coefficient of 64.6% so that there is an effect of 35.4% of other variables on behavioral intention. Therefore, the higher the students' perceptions of service quality and brand image, the higher the behavioral intention of students in recommending their respective educational institutions

Lembaga pendidikan perlu menyadari bagaimana membantu mengarahkan paradigma atau persepsi siswa untuk selalu menghasilkan perilaku positif dengan mempelajari behavioral intention siswa, sehingga siswa mampu menyampaikan informasi positif pada pihak eksternal, tetap bersama institusi dan melakukan rekomendasi kepada pihak lain untuk mengenyam pendidikan di lembaga pendidikan tersebut. Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi behavioral intention yaitu service quality dan brand image lembaga pendidikan. Persepsi yang tinggi terhadap service quality (superior service quality) akan menghasilkan behavioral intention yang diinginkan (favorable service quality), namun favorable behavioral intention perlu didukung dengan penguatan brand image lembaga pendidikan
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) menganalisis pengaruh service quality lembaga pendidikan terhadap behavioral intention (2) menganalisis pengaruh brand image lembaga pendidikan terhadap behavioral intention (3) menganalisis pengaruh service quality dan brand image lembaga pendidikan terhadap behavioral intention siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) service quality memliki pengaruh yang dibuktikan dengan menolak hipotesis H0 serta positif yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil koefisien regresi sebesar 0,089X1 yang ditandai dengan positif serta adanya pengaruh signifikan terhadap behavioral intention yang dibuktikan dengan hasil koefisien determinasi 64,6 % yang mana sebesar 39 responden menyatakan setuju dan 88 sisanya sangat setuju terhadap persepsi adanya pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap behavioral intention.(2).brand image memliki pengaruh yang dibuktikan dengan menolak hipotesis H0 serta positif yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil koefisien regresi sebesar 0,146X2 yang ditandai dengan positif serta adanya pengaruh signifikan terhadap behavioral intention yang dibuktikan dengan hasil koefisien determinasi 64,6 % (3) service quality dan brand image secara simultan memliki pengaruh positif signifikan dengan dibuktikan dengan koefisien dterminasi 64,6% sehingga ada pengaruh dari variabel lain sebesar 35,4% terhadap behavioral intention. Maka dari itu, semakin tinggi persepsi siswa mengenai service quality dan brand image, maka semakin tinggi pula behavioral intention siswa dalam merekomendasikan lembaga pendidikannya masing-masin
The Progressive Islamic Movement : Study of Thinking Methodology by Abdullah Saeed
The rapid of globalization and technological sophistication in the modernity era had made Islam and reality more tenuous, as if confused and weakened in responding to challenges and facing problems. This phenomenon encourages the spirit of contemporary Muslim philosophers in reconstructing Islamic foundations that are more responsive in dealing with problems. Abdullah Saeed introduced the trend of progressive Islam by using the progressive ijtihadi thinking method which tried to interpret the literalist-textualist teachings of classical Islam into a more humanist understanding of religion and is combined with contemporary scientific insights such as social sciences, humanities, and critical philosophy which makes Islamic religious teachings sallih likulli zaman wal makan. In the social landscape of humanity, progressive Islam considers the issue of riddah (apostasy) based on its socio-historical perspective, including affairs between humans and their Gods, not criminal acts so that the state does not have the authority to give death sentences for the perpetrators. Thus, the principles of Islamic teachings are able to go hand in hand with and not contradict UDHR article 18 by the United Nations. Therefore, this trend is expected to be able to answer important issues to find a solution, such as the issue of gender inequality, acts of violence against minorities, inheritance cases, or even an authoritarian state
Tajfif Manabi’ Takfir Ahl Islam
Throughout extended period of Islamic history, takfir among Muslims has been common practice whenever sectarian discord happens. Advancement of information technology today, especially social media, often reinforces this tendency. Voices based on scientific and objective study on such particular action and view to be deemed outside Islam and its committer as kafir are almost unheard of, or at least not given due attention. What is in vogue emotional outlook inspired by shallow fanaticism and boosted by decentralized public communication channels, which enable virtually anybody, even those with no authority, to comment on this issue. Therefore, it is imperative to examine views of ulama concerning this subject to provide Muslims with better equipment to respond to similar instances, whenever they might happen. This short paper is aimed at humbly contributing in this discussion, by presenting authoritative view of ulama coming from different scientific tradition concerning this debate. What is discussesd is definition of takfir and its context; how someone becomes Muslim and prohibition on declaring a Muslim kafir; some verses from Al-Quran and narrations of Prophetic Tradition which seem to call some major sinners to be kafirs and views of ulama on such verses and narrations; discussion on what may lead to justified takfir, i.e, violation of the two declarations of faith; and attitude to be adopted by contemporary Muslim. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
