Early Child Marriage in India for the Sake of Tradition or an ‘Unconscious’ Organized Crime
Get PDFThe number of cases occurring in India proves that there has been a cultural shift being a crime case, the marriage of children is similar to a practice who has similarities with slavery. According to UNICEF's State of the World's Children 2009, underage marriage has many negative implications, including the fact that pregnancy at an immature age (women 15-19 years old) leads to death in children. Although the child can survive, there will be many nutritional problems and cognitive abilities. In this study the authors wanted to know what under the circumstances of the marriages that occur in India at this time is still a manifestation of the continuity of cultural values ??or an organized crime in line with the number of cases with the negative impacts that occur. In addition, the author will link the marriage of minors with the extent to which globalization also contributes to the problem. The author sees that there has been a crime in childhood marriage in India. Globalization makes this issue an international issue so that it can be made to fight it globally

Meskipun anak dapat bertahan hidup, akan ada banyak masalah nutrisi dan kemampuan kognitif. Dalam penelitian ini penulis ingin mengetahui apa yang dalam situasi perkawinan yang terjadi di India saat ini masih merupakan wujud keberlanjutan nilai-nilai budaya atau kejahatan yang terorganisasi sejalan dengan jumlah kasus dengan dampak negatif yang terjadi. Selain itu, penulis akan menghubungkan pernikahan anak di bawah umur dengan sejauh mana globalisasi juga berkontribusi terhadap masalah. Penulis melihat bahwa telah terjadi kejahatan dalam pernikahan masa kecil di India. Globalisasi menjadikan masalah ini sebagai masalah internasional sehingga dapat dibuat untuk melawannya secara global

No full textIn a global era marked by the rapid development of technology and information, 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, analytical, creative, communication, and collaboration are very important for students. This article discusses the role of the science mini lab strategy combined with the inquiry-based learning (IBL) approach as an innovative learning strategy in developing these skills. Through hands-on methods, inquiry-based learning, and independent exploration, science mini labs encourage students to actively ask questions, investigate, design experiments, and draw conclusions based on evidence. This approach has been shown to increase active participation, high-level thinking skills, and strengthen teamwork and effective communication. Through a literature review, this article describes various forms of mini lab implementation, from portable kits to virtual laboratories, as well as case studies of their use in schools. The results of various studies show that the integration of IBL in mini labs can enrich the learning experience, improve learning outcomes, and prepare students to face real-world challenges. Thus, the implementation of inquiry-based science mini labs is a strategic step in presenting contextual and empowering education

However, South Korea managed to change the perspective and didn’t regard this phenomenon as a brain drain, but a brain circulation that becomes an important element for economic growth through reverse the brain drain (RBD) efforts. This paper will discuss how South Korea deals with brain drain and how brain circulation becomes very important for South Korea's economic growth that based on knowledge.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Karena  karakter  merupakan  sikap  atau  watak  yang akan  terus  melekat  pada  anak  sampai  anak dewasa.  Manusia  merupakan  makhluk  monodualis,  yaitu   manusia  sebagai  makhluk  individu sekaligus  sebagai  makhluk  sosial.  Menerapkan  disiplin  kepada  anak  bertujuan  agar anak dapat berperan  sebagai  makhluk  sosial  karena  akan  bersinggungan  antara  kehidupan  individual  anak dengan  kehidupan  sosial  bermasyarakat,  sehingga  anak  harus  terampil  dan  terlatih  untuk berdisiplin  agar  dapat  menyesuaikan  kehidupan  dalam  bermasyarakat.  Anak  dapat  membentuk perilaku  sesuai dengan peran-peran yang ditetapkan kelompok budaya, tempat individu itu diidentifikasikan.  Karena  tidak  ada  pola  budaya  tunggal,  pergesekan  dengan  lingkungan  sosial tidak dapat dihindari,  agar anak dapat masuk dalam lingkungan  sosial maka diperlukan  karakter yang dapat diterima oleh lingkungan sosial. Kata Kunci:anak usia din, disiplin, pendidikan karakte

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN READING ALOUD UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MELAFALKAN BAHASA INGGRIS
Get PDFThis research aimed to determine the success of using the reading aloud strategy to improve English pronunciation skills. The reading material has a different topic in each meeting. This research observation was conducted for 3 meetings. It used the qualitative descriptive method. The research subjects were 13 students, consisting of 11 female students and 2 male students. The results of the study showed that the application of reading aloud could improve the ability to pronounce English. Then, this implementation also helped students build a collection of words or vocabulary. Furthermore, this strategy helped students improve comprehension of a text. In addition, this implementation could help classroom management. Teachers could limit student activities as well as control their activities.

Pada tiap pertemuan, materi bacaannya mempunyai topik yang berbeda-beda. Observasi penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 3x pertemuan. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 13 siswa, yang terdiri dari 11mahasiswi dan 2 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan reading alouud dapat meningkatkan kemampuan melafalkan bahasa inggris. Kemudian, Kemudian, penerapan ini juga membantu siswa membangun koleksi kata atau kosa kata. Selanjutnya, strategi ini membantu siswa meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap suatu bacaan. Selain itu, penerapan ini dapat membantu manajemen kelas. Pengajar dapat membatasi kegiatan siswa serta mengontrol kegiatan mereka.
