Análise de custos paramétricos de edificações não residenciais do Oeste de Santa Catarina

Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia Civil.Este trabalho aborda o uso de relações paramétricas entre dados orçamentários, com a utilização de direcionadores de custos e equações de regressão não linear visando a obtenção de uma equação de regressão passível de ser utilizada no cálculo de estimativas de custos para empreendimentos não residenciais, na fase inicial da elaboração dos projetos, dando ao investidor noção da magnitude do investimento, como uma opção mais fiel à realidade do que o uso da prática do custo do metro quadrado multiplicado pela área da edificação. São realizados estudos estatísticos envolvendo algumas características físicas e o custo de grupos de serviços das edificações. Como variáveis independentes nas equações de regressão, foram utilizadas características facilmente obtidas quando da fase inicial do empreendimento, sendo elas a área total, área da projeção, área das esquadrias externas, área da cobertura, e perímetro das paredes externas. Foram utilizados orçamentos discriminados de 21 edifícios não residenciais projetados e edificados na região Oeste de Santa Catarina, com diferentes áreas, numero de pavimentos e utilização. Como resultados, são apresentadas as melhores relações entre os direcionadores de custos e os custos dos serviços e uma equação paramétrica que permite o calculo expedito do custo de uma edificação, além da comparação dos resultados com os valores reais e os estimados pelo método do CUB. This work approaches the use of parametric relations among budget data with the use of the cost direction elements and non-linear regression equations. It aims at obtaining a regression equation that can be used in the cost estimate calculation for commercial enterprise in the initial phase of project elaboration. It gives to the investor the notion of the investment magnitude, as a more downto- earth option than the use of the square meter cost, multiplied by its building area. The study involved statistical studies, involving some physical characteristics and the cost of service groups of the edification. As independent variables in the regression equations, we used characteristics easily obtained in the initial phase of the enterprise: the total area, the projection area, the area of external window and door frames, top floor area and the perimeter of external walls. The budgets of 21 commercial buildings projected and built in the west region of Santa Catarina were analyzed, with different areas, number of stories and use. As a result, we present the best relations between the cost directions and the service cost and a parametric equation, which allows the calculation of a building cost, as well as the comparison of results with real values and the estimate ones via the basic unitary cost (CUB) method

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
