The polifical person\ue2s marketing \ue2 Penghu\ue2s legislator Lin Pin Kuan be elected
SUMMARY
Marketing, by means of exchanging, results in obtaining the required products and service. Exchanging, the proceeding steps of value creation, usually will benefit mutually and further the exchanging of mutual values. The essence of marketing is aimed at creating customers\ue2 value and satisfaction. A precise definition to the studies of marketing as given by Philip Kotler is that the profitably contented with the requirement. Marketing is derived from the deeds of profits seeking business, while it can be applied to those none profit seeking individuals or organizations as well. Other than marketing of product and service, the deeds of none profit seeking do care about the marketing of human, the local affairs, concepts and organizations.
Marketing for people means the efforts to work out and manage the best advantages for certain individual or a group of people. The most common and prevailing examples can be observed in election campaigns. The campaign assistants work with every effort to look for campaign donations, volunteers, supporters and all sorts of campaign activities. The series of this study will focus on how to manipulate the marketing strategies for the politician. Being as the wife of a political figure, the author nominates Lin Pin-kuen, the senator elected from Peng-hu Hsien, as of the subject of case studies. Throughout four election campaigns, from a rookie to a veteran, suffered the failure in his first campaign while succeed in three consecutive terms, Senator Lin Pin-kuen accumulated profound experience in campaign manipulation and strategies.
Senator Lin Pin-kuen\ue2s campaign for Peng-hu Hsien in 2001 is the main topics in this case study. Analyses are built on the basis of marketing strategies and further studies in political activities, the election campaigns. Hopefully, the fulfillment of this case study will accomplish the following concepts:
1. The applications of \ue2marketing concept\ue2 to political party, partisan, campaign strategy and management.
2. The proof of marketing creativity and manipulation is applicable to election campaign.
3. Hoping that the necessity and possibility to apply marketing concept in campaign is unavoidable, so as to upgrade the campaign morality, culture and quality.
4. To prove that marketing theory and technique can be both applied to non-profit seeking realms.

[[alternative]]A Study of Spatial Location and Management of the Underground Shopping Center in Taipei
[[abstract]]Taipei, following Kaohsiung, is the second city developing the USC(underground shopping center) in Taiwan. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the spatial distribution, location characteristics and management of Taipei’s USC’s. In order to find out the best management strategies, appropriate commercial types for each USC and an ideal operational model, we observe the three USC’s which have run over one year, interview administrators and collect questionnaires filled out by proprietors and consumers. Besides, we compare Taipei’s USC’s with well-developed Japan’s. The results of this research can be summarized as follows:
1. The spatial distributions of Taipei’s USC’s share four characteristics. First of all, they have close relation to the urban development plan. Next, the location of the highest USC density is situated in Zhong Zheng District, which is also the CBD of Taipei. Third, the proportion of the USC’s “associated with MRTS ” is higher than that of the USC’s “dissociated from MRTS.” Forth, most of them are in the shape of ribbon development.
2. When the managerial scale, traffic gathering and commercial environment are taken into consideration, the locations of Taipei’s USC’s fall into three categories: the main urban center, the secondary urban center and the community center. Basically, the location of a USC is closely related to its scale. However, the schemes of the completed USC’s in Taipei didn’t follow this principle.
3. Questionnaires filled out by the proprietors show three facts. First, branch stores greatly outnumber the other kinds of stores. Second, profits are closely related to locations and commercial types. Third, the proprietors, generally speaking, don’t approve of the management of USC’s.
4. The consumer survey indicates female costumers, more than 80% under 30, are the main population of consumers. Most of them are college graduates with low ability of consumption; that is, they have to keep within a tight budget of at most NT10,000 per month. This type of consumers usually makes “multiple-purpose shopping trips.” Also, most of the consumers set a higher value on East Metro Mall.
5. The management of Taipei’s USC’s can be broken down into 3 categories, but presently all of them leave room for improvement. Besides, as far as commercial types are concerned, in Easy Mall and Taipei City Mall, the number of stationery stores should be decreased while in East Metro Mall, the number of fashion stores should be cut down. All of them, based on a safety premise, have to set up more drink and food stores. Finally, this study intends to offer an ideal tentative operational model for the future advance in the development of the USC.

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to compare the responses of oxygen consumption (VO2), heart rate (HR), 10-point ratings of perceived exertion (RPE), blood lactate (BLa) between offensive(back step)and defensive (power hold)technique during simulated Indoor Tug-of-War (TOW). Ten elite male TOW athletes (age=23.09±2.43 years, height=174.20±3.12 cm, weight=74.72±4.94 kg, sports age=3.45±1.46 years) performed one VO2max test with Bruce protocol on a treadmill and completed a single 1-minute bout of offensive technique, and defensive technique respectively in a counter-balanced order. VO2 and HR were measured during each TOW trial while BP and RPE were immediately collected at the end exercise. BLa samples were obtained from fingertips pre-exercise and at 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 10th minute post-exercise. The data were analyzed by pair t-test, one-way ANCOVA, one-way ANOVA, and the statistical significance was set at a=0.05 level. The results indicated:(1)The subjects' average VO2max was 58.80±11.78 ml/kg/min, and HRmax was 193±5.4 beats/min;(2)Back step reached 45.4% VO2max, 75.6% HRmax, while power hold at 31.4% VO2max, 67.6% HRmax;(3) The offensive VO2, HR, and RPE, BLa, systolic BP responses were significantly higher than those of defensive technique(25.67±4.67 vs. 17.96±4.31 ml/kg/min;143±14.9 vs. 131±11.5 beats/min;5.8±0.98 vs. 4.2±0.98;5.3±0.95 vs. 4.0±0.81 mmol/L ;145±13.4 vs. 131±12.3 mmHg). No significant difference was found in diastolic BP responses;(4)Peak BLa were found in 3rd minute post-exercise in both techniques.

Thesis review : evaluating the impact of social change catalyst on urban community development : a case study of LIN Centre for Community Development in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam by Chau Doan-Ba
In this thesis, the author evaluates the impact of the Listen – Inspire – Nurture (LIN) Center’s model of participatory urban community development in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC). It evidences how LIN has supported urban not-for-profit organisations (NPOs) to alter their self-perception from ‘charity organisations’ to being part of community development processes. Using a participatory communication approach, LIN has encouraged dialogue with and among stakeholders and provided robust information to the community. Consequently, NPOs have become more confident in their own capacities and have more stable financial support. In addition, the corporate sector has a better understanding of the not-for-profit sector and is making a stronger contribution to the development of NPOs in HCMC. These outcomes contribute to effective and sustainable community development in HCMC
A magnetohydrodynamical model for the formation of episodic jets
Episodic ejection of plasma blobs has been observed in many black hole systems. While steady, continuous jets are believed to be associated with large-scale open magnetic fields, what causes the episodic ejection of blobs remains unclear. Here by analogy with the coronal mass ejection on the Sun, we propose a magnetohydrodynamical model for episodic ejections from black holes associated with the closed magnetic fields in an accretion flow. Shear and turbulence of the accretion flow deform the field and result in the formation of a flux rope in the disc corona. Energy and helicity are accumulated and stored until a threshold is reached. The system then loses its equilibrium and the flux rope is thrust outward by the magnetic compression force in a catastrophic way. Our calculations show that for parameters appropriate for the black hole in our Galactic centre, the plasmoid can attain relativistic speeds in about 35 min
The Application of Absorption Cooling Systems in Enhancing Power Generation Capacity
It takes 3~5 years to finish a power plaint project including location, reliability, environment evaluating, investigation, etc. In addition, it is difficulty to get a right place and hinder by the environment protection. So, it is an important class on boosting the existing power generation capacity.
It was used to enhance power generation capacity by increasing the combustion chamber temperature in traditional way. However, it not only increases the exhaust temperature of gas turbine, but also increase the compressor ration. However, it is more difficulty on the design of gas turbine. And then we consider the other way in this thesis by reducing inlet air temperature of compressor to increase the density and flow of air and the power generation capacity. The result is magic that the power generation capacity enhance 10% ~20%.
The analysis of Combustion Turbine Inlet Air Cooling System by Absorption refrigerant system(CTIAC-ABS) describe in chapter 2 including fundamental of a gas turbine, the absorption refrigerant chiller, the inlet cooling coil and cogeneration system. It lets us know how to select the style of cogeneration and specification of an absorption refrigerant chiller.
It is important to consider the mass condensate water in the air side of inlet cooling coil. The author suggest to use the analysis method of wet-coil developed by Threlkeld(1970).
The CTIAC system could be used to the Gas Turbine System, Gas Turbine with HRSG System and Combined System. Because of there is not high pressure steam, we can use the fired-gas absorption refrigerant system as the source of chiller on the CTIAC-ABS system. There is the high pressure steam of Gas Turbine with HRSG System and Combined System. So we can divided the high pressure steam into two part, one to process and the other could be used as the heat source of absorption refrigerant chiller There are two advantages of using CTIAC-ABS on cogeneration power plaint.
1.The new purpose of mass high pressure steam could be used in cogeneration power plaint in Taiwan.
2.Reduction operational cost of CTIAC-ABS
The author finished the sensibility of power generation capacity with the analysis of practical operative data, classification of gas turbine and the power plaint Simulation program (GateCycle). When the compressor inlet temperature decrease from 30OC to 10OC, the results are : air flow rate increase 6.3%, fuel flow rate increase 5.95%, exhaust air temperature decrease 1.7% and exhaust air flow rate increase 6.3%, net power output increase 12.2%, heat rat decrease 3.7% and thermal efficiency upward 1.32%.Then, the author got a simulative equation of power capacity.
The typical gas turbines operate at full-load condition, 52.25% of annual hours, in 1998 in Taiwan. Gas turbines were almost full load on daytime and half-load or closed at night.
If we apply the CTIAC-ABS system on TPC's combined power plant, it can operate at 8:00~18:00 on daytime and shutdown at night. If there is high pressure steam in the cogeneration with HRSG, the CTIAC-ABS system can operate at the time that the cogeneration power plant is operative.
How to decide the capacity of absorption refrigerant chiller? The author decided the maximum capacity of absorption refrigerant chiller operating at 31OC , 80%RH of weather condition that limit by 2.5% ***. The author forecasts the lowest compressor inlet air temperature will be 10OC.
The steam double-effect CTIAC-ABS system could make the compressor inlet air temperature decrease from 30OC to 10 OC and enhances the heat rate 3.8%, the thermal efficiency 1.2%. The fired-direct CTIAC-ABS system also enhances the heat rate 5% and the thermal efficiency 1.5%. The results are close to the simulation of GateCycle program. So, the author compared the result of simulation with real data that the optimumal operative point of the CTIAC-ABS system is 10OC
