Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tanggapan pegawai mengenai
budaya organiasi pada Perum BULOG Sub Divre Bandung , tanggapan pegawai
mengenai kinerja mereka masing-masing, dan berapa besar pengaruh budaya
organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai Perum BULOG Sub Divre Bandung . Metode
penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif verifikatif dengan analisis
statistik yang digunakan berupa analisis korelasi dan koefisien determinasi dengan
menggunakan SPSS 20. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji T untuk hipotesis
parsial. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari riset lapangan berupa wawancara
dan kuesioner, serta riset kepustakaan.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hubungan budaya organisasi
dengan keputusan pembelian termasuk kategori kuat. Karena besarnya koefisien
korelasi 0,467 terletak di antara 0,40 – 0,599. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa budaya
organisasi dianggap sedang. Sedangkan pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap
keputusan konsumen menjadi mahasiswa Kelas Reguler B pada Universitas
Widyatama Bandung berdasarkan perhitungan koefisien determinasi yaitu sebesar
21,8% dan sisanya sebesar 79,2% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti
oleh penulis. Dari perhitungan uji hipotesis, nilai t adalah 2,844 lebih besar
dari t 1,701. Ini menunjukkan H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, maka budaya
organisasi memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai.
Hal ini berarti hipotesis yang penulis ajukan pada Bab I yaitu “terdapat hubungan
positif dan signifikan antara budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai” dapat
diterima.

Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Perkembangan cosplay di Indonesia semakin maju dengan populernya anime dan komik Jepang. Banyak acara-acara bertema budaya Jepang yang diadakan di sekolah dan kampus memasukan cosplay sebagai daya tariknya. Hal ini memicu terbentuknya banyak komunitas cosplay. Dari 8 komunitas atau tim cosplay yang aktif di Bandung, rata-rata usianya adalah remaja dengan profesi pelajar dan mahasiswa. Walaupun cosplay telah berkembang di Indonesia, apresiasi masyarakat terhadap cosplay tidak cukup baik. Masyarakat Indonesia masih memandang aneh terhadap cosplay. Minimnya media informasi mengenai dasar cosplay menjadi faktor penyebab kurangnya pemahaman tentang cosplay.
Metode yang digunakan untuk menjawab permasalahan yaitu pengumpulan data dari studi pustaka, observasi ke beberapa acara dan komunitas cosplay di Bandung, wawancara kepada cosplayer dan tim cosplay Bandung yang cukup berpengalaman.
Solusi yang didapat adalah membuat media informasi untuk memperkenalkan dasar-dasar cosplay yang mudah didapatkan oleh masyarakat. Penulis membuat buku panduan cosplay dengan gaya penceritaan melalui komik Jepang atau manga agar mudah dipahami.
Tugas Akhir ini dibuat dengan harapan dapat memperkenalkan dasar cosplay kepada masyarakat umum khususnya pelajar dan mahasiswa usia 12-21 tahun.

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. Kata Kunci: keterampilan motorik halus melalui kegiatan menganyam kertaspada anak kelompok AHasil observasi awal pada keterampilan motorik halus anak kelompok A1yang berjumlah 20 anak terdiri dari 9 anak laki-laki dan 11 anak perempuan di TKNegeri Pembina Kota Blitar khususnya pada kegiatan menganyam kertas masihkurang mendapat perhatian guru jadi hasil observasi pada kegiatan menganyamada 14 anak atau 70% anak masih belum bisa menganyam, guru lebih seringmenggunakan kegiatan menulis, mewarnai dan menggambar untuk meningkatkanketerampilan motorik halus.Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikanpenerapan kegiatan menganyam kertas dan meningkatkan keterampilan motorikhalus pada anak kelompok A1 di TK Negeri Pembina Kota Blitar. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK)sebanyak 2 siklus. Pada setiap siklus meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan,observasi, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi,wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data penelitian meliputi langkahreduksi data, penyajian data dan pemberian kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan menganyam kertasdilaksanakan dengan baik oleh guru dan anak. Terlihat pada proses pembelajaranuntuk aktivitas guru siklus I mencapai 69,2% dengan kriteria baik, sedangkansiklus II mencapai 88,45% dengan kriteria sangat baik, pada nilai aktivitas anakpada siklus I mencapai 58,54% dengan kriteria cukup selanjutnya untuk aktivitassiklus II mencapai 84,62%. Keterampilan motorik halus melalui kegiatanmenganyam kertas pada pra tindakan mencapai 43,75% dengan kriteria cukup,siklus I mencapai 54,53125% dengan kriteria cukup, sedangkan pada siklus IImencapai 80,47% dengan kategori sangat baik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu penerapan kegiatan menganyamkertas yang dilakukan guru dan anak dengan sangat baik dapat meningkatkanketerampilan motorik halus anak kelompok A1 dengan baik. Disarankan padaguru kelompok A1 untuk menggunakan kegiatan menganyam kertas sebagai salah satu kegiatan yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan motorik halus.

Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
