    Kramer-Pesch effect in LuNi2B2C

    No full text
This thesis describes pSR observations of the internal magnetic field distribution n{B) as a function of temperature in LuNi₂B₂C (T[sub c] = 16.0 K, H[sub c2](0) = 7T), under a magnetic field of H = 1.2T applied parallel to the crystal c axis. The pSR polarisation signal is fitted to a nonlocal London model, assuming a square vortex lattice. By incorporating first order nonlocal corrections, this model achieves significantly better fits than the local London model. The fitted penetration depth temperature dependence λ(T) follows the form expected for a BCS s-wave superconductor, although the dependence is also consistent with a slight linear increase in the penetration depth λ with rising temperature. The rate of any such linear growth, however, is smaller than would be expected for an energy gap Δ with line nodes. The fitted core radius temperature dependence p(T) reveals a Kramer-Pesch effect, or linear contraction of the vortex core radius p upon cooling at low temperatures T << T[sub c] , that is weaker than predicted. The Kramer-Pesch effect found for this nearly three-dimensional superconductor is almost identical to that seen in quasi two-dimensional NbSe₂, implying that quasiparticles behave similarly in LuNi₂B₂C and NbSe₂ despite their different dimensionalities, and that longitudinal disorder of vortices has negligible impact on μSR determinations of the vortex core radius p. The surprisingly small magnitude of the Kramer-Pesch effect suggests that future theoretical work on the temperature dependence of vortex structure should consider zero point motion of vortices and intervortex interactions.Science, Faculty ofPhysics and Astronomy, Department ofGraduat

This research is to study the use of Phatic Patterns by adolescents in the Minangkabau community. In Minangkabau, the term Phatic is commonly known as stale meatballs. The use of Phatic is very commonly found in conversations by the Minangkabau people. In this study, the authors focus on the use and patterns of Phatic used by adolescents in Minangkabau in communicating. The author found that there are various Pathic Patterns used by Minangkabau teenagers in communicating expectations in Greeting, Introducing, Taking-Taking, Praise, Promises, Rejection, and Invitations. The use of Phatic is adapted to the context and the person they are talking to

Offering food products at lower prices approaching the expiration date, referred to as suboptimal food products, is considered to be able to encourage purchasing considerations by the public. It is based on knowledge of purchasing price-reduced food products by the public and the potential waste in the community focused. The study aimed to contribute to the evaluation of whether offering suboptimal foods at a lower price will reduce food waste in the supply chain. This study analyzes public knowledge, attitudes, and behavior toward suboptimal product price offers in retail stores. The research was conducted in three retail stores in Depok City by exploring research questions involving 274 retail store customers who were analyzed based on a questionnaire. The approach used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear analysis methods using SPSS software. The findings show that public knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors influence suboptimal product price offers in retail stores. This research is expected to be an effective solution to overcome excess food, which leads to food waste at the retail level in sustainable food management

Providing satisfaction to consumers is a strategic step in achieving company goals. Because of this, it can influence consumers to continue using the products/services being sold, so that sales volume increases and provides big profits to the company. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality and price on customer satisfaction at PT Berkah Syahrie Sejahtera Tangerang either partially or simultaneously. The method used is quantitative associative method. The sampling technique used the slovin formula and the sample in this study was 87 respondents. Data analysis used validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the relationship between satisfaction with service quality and price is very large. This indicates that consumers are satisfied if they get good service and get the right price. In addition, if the company provides good prices and services simultaneously to consumers, it is possible to strengthen satisfaction which has implications for the birth of purchase loyalt

Examining the Influence of the Marketing Mix (4PS) on Manufacturers' Purchase Decisions of Imported Tobacco: A Case Study of PT Harum Tembakau Indonesia

    No full text
The tobacco industry is a strategic sector in Indonesia, contributing significantly to state revenue and employment absorption. Although Indonesia is known as a major tobacco producer, the demand from cigarette manufacturers for specific types of tobacco has driven imports from countries such Tiongkok, Brasil, India, Zimbabwe and Turki. PT Harum Tembakau Indonesia, a newly established company in 2024, was founded to meet this demand by supplying imported tobacco to manufacturers. In facing competition with more established firms, an effective marketing strategy becomes critically important. This study aims to analyze the influence of the marketing mix (product, price, place/distribution, and promotion) on manufacturers' purchase decisions regarding imported tobacco, with a case study on PT Harum Tembakau Indonesia. This research adopts a quantitative method using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach. The findings indicate that the variable place (distribution) has a positive and significant effect on purchase decision (β = 0.296; p = 0.006), while price does not show a significant influence (β = 0.120; p = 0.391). Interestingly, product (β = -0.386; p = 0.019) and promotion (β = -0.310; p = 0.001) exhibit negative and significant effects on purchase decision. The R² value of 0.225 suggests that the marketing mix model explains 22.5% of the variance in purchase decisions. These results have strategic implications, highlighting the need for the company to emphasize distribution reliability and to re-evaluate its product and promotion strategies to better align with the needs and expectations of manufacturers. This study is expected to serve as a reference for formulating more effective marketing strategies in the future

Abstract: The study of accounting practices in local wisdom is always interesting to research. Understanding that every activity requires accounting, based on a version that is appropriate to the culture and beliefs of the local community. Pricing is used as a bridge by sellers to achieve maximum material profits by keeping costs as low as possible. As a result, price wars are a familiar sight today. There is no longer any togetherness and brotherhood among the sellers from the sales activities carried out. The aim of this research is to reveal the cultural values of local wisdom contained in determining the selling price of fruit, which is implemented by Banyuasri Market traders based on the local wisdom values of Tri Hita Karana. Data analysis uses the hermeneutic analysis method of intentionalism. Based on the findings in this research, the reality of selling prices implemented by fruit traders at Banyuasri Market depicts a complete form of selling price and is based on the values of the Tri Hita Karana philosophy. The elements of material values (not wealth), the value of submission to the Creator, the value of environmental preservation, and the value of togetherness between fellow humans or traders are a unified whole that cannot be separated

The market is one of the places used to meet the needs of people's lives. Currently, it is necessary to realize that traditional markets are not the only trading centers. The increasing number of other trading centers such as modern markets, both in the form of minimarkets, hypermarts and malls which in turn can make traditional markets must be able to survive in the competition so as not to be crushed by the flow of modernization. However, in practice, the people's market still faces problems. This study aims to analyze and describe the implementation of the People's Market Management Policy at the Sukodono Market, Sidoarjo Regency. The type of research used by the author in this study is descriptive qualitative. The data sources of this research are primary data sources which are obtained from research informants and secondary data sources obtained from books, journals, and documents related to this research. Then the data collection techniques used in this study were interviews with purposive sampling method, direct observation (non-participants), and documentation with related data. In addition, the data analysis technique used is using interactive data analysis. The results of this study show that the implementation of the people's market management policy in Sukodono Market has been implemented but has not been optimal as a whole. This can be seen in the efficient, accountable, public interest, environmentally friendly, social responsibility and mutual cooperation focus that have been implemented well. However, the effective and productive focus has not been implemented optimally
