Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Pendidikan juga menjadi hak yang harus diterima oleh setiap individu sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan mempercepat pembangunan bangsa. Sebagai bagian dari strategi untuk mengubah negara yang tertinggal menjadi negara maju, pendidikan memegang peranan strategis dalam mencetak sumber daya manusia yang kompeten. Perkembangan kurikulum adalah salah satu upaya yang terus dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan kompetensi yang sesuai dengan tuntutan zaman. Pergantian dari Kurikulum 2013 ke Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan salah satu langkah strategis untuk menyikapi perubahan tersebut. Kurikulum Merdeka dirancang untuk memberikan fleksibilitas dalam pembelajaran, meningkatkan kreativitas, serta menyesuaikan kebutuhan siswa dengan potensi individu yang beragam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kemampuan guru dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam menghadapi penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, yang bertujuan untuk memahami fenomena secara mendalam. Penelitian ini memaparkan secara deskriptif fenomena yang berkaitan dengan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, baik dari aspek empiris maupun hasil rekayasa pendidikan. Subjek penelitian mencakup jurnal penelitian terdahulu yang relevan dan telah memenuhi standar ilmiah, sehingga dapat memberikan landasan teoretis dan data empiris yang mendukung. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kajian literatur, wawancara, observasi, serta dokumentasi untuk memperoleh informasi yang holistik terkait dengan kemampuan guru dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, khususnya dalam mata pelajaran PAI. Dengan pendekatan ini, penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran menyeluruh mengenai tantangan dan kemampuan guru dalam menghadapi perubahan kurikulum, sekaligus menjadi rujukan untuk perbaikan praktik pendidikan di masa mendatang

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. No full textWe have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used

kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 9 Banjarmasin pada materi larutan asam dan
basa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar
dan sikap ilmiah antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan model GDL
dengan siswa yang belajar menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional
(ekspositori) di kelas XI IPA SMAN 9 Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini
menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (quasy eksperiment) dengan
desain nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian adalah XI
IPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol.
Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan observasi. Teknik
analisis data menggunakan uji t untuk menganalisis perbedaan hasil
belajar kognitif siswa yang belajar menggunakan model GDL dengan
siswa yang belajar menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional
(ekspositori), dan analisis deskriptif untuk menganalisis perbedaan hasil
belajar afektif, psikomotor dan sikap ilmiah siswa. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan
antara siswa pada kelas eksperimen dengan siswa pada kelas kontrol (2)
terdapat perbedaan sikap ilmiah siswa antara siswa pada kelas
eksperimen dengan siswa pada kelas kontrol.

Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Materi Membaca Puisi Kelas VIII SMP/MTs Berbasis Smart Apps Creator (SAC)
Get PDFProses pembelajaran membaca puisi di kelas VIII SMP menghadapi tantangan, seperti kesulitan siswa dalam mendeklamasikan puisi, keterbatasan referensi teknik membaca puisi, serta pemanfaatan teknologi yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis kebutuhan, mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Smart Apps Creator (SAC) sebagai solusi inovatif. Penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan pendekatan mix method dan model Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE). Hasil analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa 97,78% guru dan 91,48% siswa memerlukan media pembelajaran interaktif. Aplikasi Siswa Membaca Puisi (ASMP) divalidasi oleh ahli materi (skor 0,92) dan ahli media (skor 0,94), keduanya dalam kategori sangat layak. Uji coba terhadap 69 siswa menunjukkan respons positif dengan tingkat kelayakan 88,25%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif, yang dikembangkan dengan SAC, tidak hanya memenuhi kebutuhan pembelajaran, tetapi juga meningkatkan minat siswa dalam membaca puisi. Dengan tingkat kelayakan tinggi, ASMP dapat menjadi alat pendukung efektif dalam pembelajaran membaca puisi di SMP/MTs
