Le mage comme métaphore de l'écrivain: le cas de Joséphin Péladan
No full textJoséphin Péladan, author of Décadence Latine and also founder of the Rose+Croix du Temple et du Graal Confraternity, represents from various angles the symbol of that cultural atmosphere which characterizes the end of the nineteenth century. As he stigmatizes the moral and cultural decline of his contemporaries, Péladan creates the character of Mérodack the Magus, described as a supreme being that arises above the bourgeois mediocrity and who, thanks to a self-sublimation process based on will-power, according to the outlook already traced by Eliphas Lévi, not only can redeem himself, but also can show the direction for a shared redemption. However, as a matter of fact, the solipsistic and narcissistic attitude of the Magus ends by overwhelming any social temptation. In this path which shows preferential connections between literature and occultism, the Magus, former other self of the author, his double in the mirror, as their physical resemblance and the interchange of names prove, rises to the metaphor of the writer: both committed to a self-referring dimension, they transgress the bourgeois rules of productivity by changing magic and writing into an ascesis, a self-commemorative operation only consecrated to the ego. This idea of magic, conceived as a metaphor of writing as well, as a hermetic and mystic operation appears, in conclusion as the utmost accomplishment, daintily decadent, of Mallarmé's poetry conception, just a supreme act, which is to find the reason of his own existence solely in itself

Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyöni on toiminnallinen tilaustyö omalle työpaikalleni MLL:n Mikkelin yhdistyksen Marskin päiväkodille. Tavoitteena oli suunnitella ja laatia laadukas perehdyttämiskansio MLL:n Mikkelin yhdistyksen Marskin päiväkodille, joka palvelee sekä perehdyttäjää että perehdytettävää. Perehdyttämiskansio on tehty yhteistyössä Marskin päiväkodin henkilökunnan kanssa heidän tarpeidensa ja toiveidensa pohjalta.
Perehdyttämiskansion tarkoituksena on helpottaa perehdyttämistä ja työhönopastusta Marskin päiväkodissa. Kansio toimii tietopakettina uusille työntekijöille, opiskelijoille, harjoittelijoille ja kansio palvelee myös uusia MLL:n Mikkelin yhdistyksen hallituksen jäseniä perehdyttämisvaiheessa. Kansion tarkoituksena on yhtenäistää työn tekemisen periaatteita ja luoda uusien työntekijöiden perehdyttämistä helpottavaa materiaalia.
Aloitin perehdyttämiskansion valmistamisen talvella 2011 tutustumalla eri oppilaitoksissa valmistettuihin perehdyttämiskansioihin sekä perehdyttämistä käsittelevään kirjallisuuteen. Alkuvuodesta 2012 pidettiin Marskin päiväkodin henkilökunnan kanssa suunnittelupalavereja ja työstettiin kansion sisältöä. Kesäkuussa 2012 kansio valmistui ja jäi henkilökunnan luettavaksi ja arvioitavaksi.
Opinnäytetyöni raportti koostuu teoriaosuudesta, jossa käsitellään perehdyttämistä. Raportissa kuvaan toimintaympäristön eli Marskin päiväkodin sekä kuvaan perehdyttämiskansion tekoprosessin vaiheittain. Perehdyttämiskansion sisällön kuvaan raportissa pääpiirteittäin. Loppuosassa raporttia käydään läpi tilaustyön tekoprosessin ja valmiin työn arviointi sekä pohdintaosuus.

The orientation folder to kindergarten Marski
Abstract
My thesis is a functional custom made work for my workplace kindergarten Marski. The goal was to desingn and prepare high-quality orientation folder to kindergarten Marski that serves both the mentor and the persons to be familiarized. The orientation folder is made in collaboration with the staff of the kindergarten Marski based on for their needs and wishes.
The aim of the orientation folder was to help the orientation and guidance in the work of kindergarten Marski. The folder is an information package for new employees, students, trainees and it also serves as a new folder for the board members for MLL Mikkeli association in their orientation period. The folder is designed to standardize the work on making and creating the new employees´ orientation material.
I started orientation folder preparation in winter 2011 with familiarizing with the orientation folders made in different educational institutions as well as orientation literature. Early in the year 2012 the content of the folder was worked on in planning meetings that were held with the kindergarten Marski´s staff. In June 2012, the folder was completed and was given to the staff to be read and evaluated.
This thesis report consists of a theoretical part, which deals with the orientation. I describe in my raport the kindergarten Marski and I also describe the orientation folder making process step by step. The content of the orientation folder is described in report. The rest of the report will deal with the work of the order-making process, evaluation of the completed job and the discussion part.

Kehittämistyön tarkoituksena oli laatia suunnitelma Itsemääräämisoikeus-käsikirjan sisällöstä Pohjois-Pohjanmaan sairaanhoitopiirin kehitysvammahuollon tulosalueelle. Kehittämistyön taustalla oli Kehitysvammaliiton IMO–itsemääräämisoikeushanke, joka käynnistyi vuoden 2014 lopulla. Pohjois-Pohjanmaan sairaanhoitopiirin kehitysvammahuollon Itsemääräämisoikeus- eli IMO-käsikirjan suunnitelman runko muotoutui hankkeen yhteistapaamisten pohjalta.
Kehittämistyön tietoperustassa käsitellään itsemääräämisoikeutta eettisten periaatteiden ja arvojen sekä eri lakien, sopimusten, ohjelmien, hankkeiden ja ohjeiden kautta siten, että suurin painoarvo on uudella kehitysvammaisten erityishuoltoon annetun lain muutoksella. Lakiin on tehty muutoksia, joissa korostuvat kehitysvammaisten henkilöiden itsenäisen suoriutumisen, itsemääräämisoikeuden vahvistumisen sekä rajoitustoimenpiteiden käytön vähentymisen tavoitteet sekä niiden kirjaamiseen liittyvät säännökset.
Kehittämistyön aikana korostui hyvin selkeästi, miten tärkeässä asemassa itsemääräämisoikeusasiat ovat tällä hetkellä suomalaisessa kehitysvammahuollon työssä ja miten eri toimijat julkisella tai yksityisellä sektorilla sekä poliittisista päättäjistä kolmanteen sektoriin ponnistelevat tämän päämäärän saavuttamiseksi.
Jatkokehittämishaasteena on uudenlaisen toimintakulttuurin juurruttaminen kehitysvammahuoltoon muun muassa erilaisten koulutusten ja ohjeistusten avulla niin, että siihen sitoutuu koko henkilöstö johdosta käytännön työtä tekeviin työntekijöihin.

In the background of this development project was the IMO-self-determination project of the Mental retardation union, which started at the end of the year 2014. The meaning of the project was to create a common IMO-manual that served all of the organisations. The Northern Ostrobothnia's health care district's mental retardation service's self-determination- or IMO-manual's plan was formed on the basis of joint meetings.
In the development project's knowledge-base, self-determination is dealt with ethic principals and values as well as different laws, agreements, projects and guides so that the biggest weight is on the new change in the law regarding the mentally retarded's special care. There have been changes made in the law that highlight the goal of independent performing, self-determination's strenghtening and reducting the restriction measures of the mentally retarded persons and also the provisions related to recording the said things.
During the development project it was very strongly highlighted how important of a role self-determination rights have currently in the finnish mental retardation service's work and how different actors from both the public and the private sectors and from the policy-makers to the third sector are pushing to reach this goal.
Further development challenge is rooting a new kind of cultural activity in the mental retardation service by the help of different kinds of trainings which all of the personnel commits from the management to the health care workers.

Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena on selvittää millaisia kokemuksia isillä on isyydestään rikosprosessinsa aikana.
Opinnäytetyön taustaosuudessa käydään läpi Rikosseuraamuslaitoksen organisaatiota, Rikosseuraamuslaitoksen lapsi- ja perhetyön linjauksia, sosiaalityötä ja rikosseuraamusalaa, sekä Rikosseuraamuslaitoksen ohjelmatyötä. Teoria osuudessa käydään läpi isyyttä, sen historiaa ja erilaisia isyyden muotoja, sekä isyyden toteutumista vankilassa.
Tätä opinnäytetyötä varten olen haastatellut viittä Rikosseuraamuslaitoksen mies asiakasta, jotka ovat isiä ja ovat olleet vankilassa. Haastattelut on toteutettu teemahaastatteluna ja ne nauhoitettiin.
Kahden haastateltavan elämä rikosten aikaan oli ollut tavallista elämää johon kuului perhe ja työ. Kolmen haastateltavan elämässä rikosten aikaan oli ollut mukana väkivaltaa sekä päihteitä, lapsia tavattiin aina kun se oli mahdollista. Vankilassaoloaikanaan isät olisivat halunneet nähdä lapsiaan enemmän, mutta he myös tiedostivat sen, että vankiloiden resurssit eivät yksinkertaisesti aina riitä tapaamisten lisäämiseen. Yhteydenpito kirjeitse, puhelimitse sekä rajallisilla tapaamisilla koettiin haasteelliseksi, mutta moni sanoi, että siihenkin sopeutuu, kun muitakaan vaihtoehtoja ei ollut. Mahdollisuudet vaikuttaa lastensa asioihin vankilasta käsin, sekä huoli lastensa pärjäämisestä heijastuivat myös joidenkin haastateltavien vastauksissa. Valtaosa haastateltavista ei ollut saanut mistään tukea isyyteensä rikosprosessinsa aikana, he kertoivat myös, että eivät olleet tukea kaivanneetkaan. Yksi vastaaja olisi kaivannut tukea isyyteensä lapsensa äidiltä sekä sosiaalityöntekijöiltä ja yhteiskunnalta, esimerkiksi erilaisten isä-ryhmien muodossa. Haastateltavista valtaosa olisi kaivannut lisää perhetapaamisia vankilassa ollessaan, varsinkin lasten ollessa pieniä. Thesis title: Fathers´ experiences of fatherhood during the criminal process

The purpose of this thesis was to examine what kind of experiences fathers had of their fatherhood in their criminal process time, in other words during the commitment of the crime and the time in prison.
The background of the thesis will deal with the Criminal Sanctions Agency organization, the Criminal Sanctions Agency´s child and family policies, social work and criminal penalties sector, as well as the Criminal Sanctions Agency programme work. The theory part consists of the defenition of fatherhood, history and various forms of fatherhood, as well as the realization of fatherhood in prison.
For this thesis I have interviewed five men who are fathers and have been in prison. During the interview time they were clients of Criminal Sanctions Agency. The material was collected by theme interviews and the interviews were recorded. The tapes were transcribed.
Two interviewee´s life in crime time was ordinary life which included family and work. Three interviewee´s life in crime time involved violence and drugs. The children were met whenever possible. During time in prison the fathers would have wanted to see their children more but they were aware of the fact that the prison´s resources were not limited to increase meetings. Contacts by letter, telephone and the few meetings were seen as challenging but many said that you have to adapt because there is no other way. Possibilities to influence on issues concerning their children from prison as well as concerns about the children´s abilities to cope in life were also reflected in some of the interwiees´ responses. A majority of the respondents had not received any support to their fatherhood during their criminal process. One respondent would have liked to get support to his fatherhood from the mother of his children and from social workers and from society, for example in the form of different father groups. The majority of the respondents would have liked to have more family meetings while in prison, especially when children are small. More exit licenses would have been desirable at towards the end of the imprisonment
How a fragment reflects : Poetics of Volter Kilpi's Archipelago cycle
No full textThis article explores the poetics of Volter Kilpi (1874–1939). Kilpi is known as the Finnish modernist author who wrote a most extraordinary and original series of works collectively known as the “Archipelago cycle” (the first novel of the cycle has been recently translated into German with the title Im Saal von Alastalo). The article uses cognitive poetics (Terence Cave, Caroline Levine and Reuven Tsur) to elucidate Kilpi’s style focusing on the emotional effects of Kilpi’s innovative language and narrative strategies. It offers a new approach to the author and the study of modernist poetics.Peer reviewe
Household food expenditure changes before and after recession in Estonia in 2003-2012

Maamajandusliku ettevõtluse ja finantsjuhtimise õppekavalKäesoleva bakalaureusetöö eesmärgiks oli kirjeldada leibkondade
toidukulutuste muutumist Eestis aastatel 2003-2012. Bakalaureusetöö käigus
kirjeldati ja analüüsiti leibkondade toidukulutuste muutumist enne ja pärast
majanduslanguse perioodi. Majanduslanguse eelseks perioodiks on valitud
aastad 2003-2007 ja majanduslanguse järgseks perioodiks aastad 2010-2012.
Autor on kasutanud andmete saamiseks Eesti Statistikaameti andmebaasi
kodulehte. Teoreetilises osas kirjeldati leibkonna mõistet, tarbimiskulutuste
struktuuri ja toidukulutuste seoseid sissetulekutega. Empiriilises osas analüüsiti
leibkondade struktuurilist koosseisu ja leibkonnauuringute metoodikat ning
toidukulutusi koos sissetulekutega.
Autor selgitas andmete analüüsi käigus toidukulutuste, SKP ja THI muutumist
ning sissetulekute seost toidukulutustega. SKP suurenes aastatel 2003-2007
5764,53 euro võrra, toidukulutused suurenesid samal ajaperioodil 41,97%.
Aastatel 2010-2012 suurenes SKP 2558,86 euro võrra ja toidukulutusid
suurenesid 13,93%. Aastal 2003 oli toidu ja mittealkohoolsete jookide THI -
1,7% ja aastal 2007 9,3%. Aastal 2010 oli toidu ja mittealkohoolsete jookide
THI 3% ja 2011. aaastal küündis THI 9,7%.-ni. Toidukulutuste osakaalu ning
toidu ja mittealkohoolsete jookide THI suurenemise 2011. aastal põhjustasid
majanduskasv ning toidukaupade hindade tõus. Sissetulekute suurenedes
toidukulutuste osakaal leibkonna eelarves väheneb ja ei suurene sissetulekutega
samas tempos. Antud töös sai eelnev tõestatud ning majanduskasvu tingimustes
suurenesid sissetulekud, kuid toidukulutuste osakaal ei suurenenud samas
tempos.The aim of the Bachelor’s thesis was to analyse food expenditure changes in
households in Estonia in 2003-2012. Bachelor’s thesis described and analysed
households food expenditures in Estonia. Bachelor’s thesis brought out the
changes in households food expenditures before and after recession period. The
period before the recession author has chosen years of 2003-2007 and the
period after the recession years of 2010-2012. Author has used to get data for
the research from the database of Statistics Estonia homepage. The theoretical
part describes the definition of household, consumption expenditure structure
and consumption-income relationships. The empirical part analyzes the
structural composition of the household and the household survey methodology
and food expenditures with in-come.
Author explained food expenditures, GDP and CPI changing, and income
relationship to food expenditures through data analyse. GDP increased in years
2003-2007 5764,53 euros, food expenditures increased in the same period
41,79%. In years 2010-2012 incresed GDP 2558,86 euros and food
expenditures increased 13,93%. In year 2003 food and non-alcoholic drinks CPI
was -1,7% and in year 2011 9,3%. In year 2010 was food and non-alcoholic
drinks CPI 3% and in 2011 food and non-alcoholic drinks CPI was risen to
9,7%. By analyzing the data: indeed as income rises, food expenditure share of
household budget decreases and doesn’t grow in the same proposition as
income. In current thesis previous had proven and in circumstances of
economic growth incomes increased, but the share of food expenditures doesn’t
increase in the same tempo
Bernard Malamud's fiction and the rise of ethnic literary studies
No full textThe increasing visibility of a number of previously marginalized literary cultures is one of the most challenging developments in post-war American fiction. My dissertation deals with the novels of Bernard Malamud (1914–1986), a contemporary Jewish-American author, whose work is linked with this phenomenon as well as other significant trends in the recent literature of the United States. It is customary to think that ethnic authors write within the older realist or naturalist traditions. The new scholarship, however, claims that literary forms are not organically connected with ethnic groups. Jewish-American fiction offers much evidence that ethnicity and modernism form a false set of opposites
Simulation of the Eurasian ice sheet dynamics during the last glaciation
No full textThe Eurasian Weichselian glaciation is studied with the SICOPOLIS ice-sheet model and UKMO PMIP climate anomaly forcings. A set of sensitivity tests are completed, including runs in cold-ice mode, different positive-degree-day (PDD) factors and modified climatic data-sets. The model set-up with present-day climatology modified by a glacial index brings forth an areally correct Last Glacial Maximum (LGM) extent in the western areas, but the ice-sheet volume is too small compared to reconstructions from rebound rates. Applying modified climate data results in similar extent as indicated by the Quaternary Environment of the Eurasian North (QUEEN) Late Weichselian ice-sheet reconstruction. The simulation results display freshwater fluxes from melting and calving in phase with Heinrich events H3 at 27, H2 at 22, and H1 at 14 ka ago. These peaks correspond to fast flow areas, with main activity at 27 and 22 ka ago in the Nordic Channel area and later in the Bear Island and Storfjorden region. The activity of these areas seems to be shifting from south to north from LGM to the Holocene. The freshwater pulse at 19–18.5 ka could correspond to Dansgaard-Oeschger oscillation, as well as ice volume flux peaks around 18–17 ka ago on the western margin of the ice sheet
