The Effect of Hypnoteaching Intervention Methods on Interest in Reading Story Texts
The purpose of this study is to analyze the correlation and influence between the Hypnoteaching method and the interest in reading story texts in MIN 1 Bogor students. The study is experimental research using the True experimental design model and a posttest-only control design approach. The analysis was carried out based on questionnaire data that was disseminated and interpreted through descriptive analysis and inferential analysis to describe the influence of the two research variables. The data obtained is processed through; 1) descriptive analysis to describe one of the variables with a percentage value. 2) Inferential statistical analysis is used to see correlations using the Product Moment formula. 3) Then, a differential test was carried out using t-test statistics to determine the effect. The results of this study showed that the results of the paired simple test using SPSS version 27 showed that the significance value was 0.001 < 0.05 which means that there was an average questionnaire about the interest in reading story texts using the Hypnoteaching intervention method. It can be concluded that there is an effect of the use of Hypnoteaching intervention methods on the interest in reading story texts in MIN 1 Bogor Regency students
Mitigating Electricity a Price Spike under Pre-Cooling Method
The growing demand for air-conditioning is one of the largest contributors to Australia overall electricity consumption. This has started to create peak load supply problems for some electricity utilities particularly in Queensland. This research aimed to develop a consumer demand side response model to assist electricity consumers to mitigate peak demand on the electrical network. The proposed model allows consumers to independently and proactively manage air conditioning peak electricity demand. The main contribution of this research is how to show consumers can mitigate peak demands by optimizing energy costs for air conditioning in a several cases such as no spike and spike considering to the probability spike cases may only occur in the middle of the day for half hour, one hour and one and half hour spikes. This model also investigates how air conditioning applied a pre-cooling method when there is a substantial risk of a price spike. The results indicate the potential of the scheme to achieve energy savings and reducing electricity bills (costs) to the consumer. The model was tested with the Queensland electricity market data from Australian Energy Market Operator and Brisbane temperature data from Bureau statistic during hot days
THE PROCESSING AND ANALYSIS OF THE POLYPHENOLS CONTENT OF COCOA BEAN (THEOBROMA COCOA L) AND THE DEVELOPMENT AS FUNCTIONAL FOODS
Production and quality of cocoa in South Sulawesi have been decreasing that causes it falls below the industrialstandard. The quality of cacao bean is mainly determined by aroma and flavour produced from fermentation process ofwet cacao bean before drying. In this research processing of various cacao bean without fermentation to polyphenols-richcacao powder and polyphenols (catechin) analysis using HPLC have been carried out.The experimental results showed that total polyphenols content of cacao bean (raw bean) was between 82.14 –126.67 mg GAE/g powder. Cacao samples coded PLPK, BLKK and SWK (without boiling pretreatment) havepolyphenols content of 113, 119.78, and 126.67 mg/g powder respectively. Whereas the polyphenols content of cacaosample coded PLP, SW and BLK (with blanching pretreatment) were 110.76, 113.75 and 82.14 mg GAE/g powderrespectively. NP-HPLC analysis result showed that cacao bean from Palopo, Bulukumba and Siwa have highpolyphenols content ranging from 149.38 mg/g to 367.21 mg/g powder.Heat pretreatment decreases polyphenols content of cacao bean and it shows that polyphenols is not heatresistant. Polyphenols - rich cacao bean can be obtained without fermentation and heat treatment. Cacao bean fromBulukumba, Siwa and Palopo have high economic value when processed as polyphenols - rich health food products
PEMANFAATAN BATUBARA KUALITAS RENDAH SEBAGAI BAHAN KOKAS MELIBATKAN PROSES DESULFURISASI, DEMINERALISASI DAN KARBONISASI
Coal from Mallawa village, Bone-Pangkep Regency of South Sulawesi included in young coal rank, with content of :2.64% moisture, 46.16% of volatile matter, 15.26% ash, 35.96% fixed carbon, 1.73% sulfur and heat value of 5190kcal / kgram this coal includes subbituminous coal category. This coal will be upgrade to be bituminous rank coalthrough desulfurization and demineralization process and continued with carbonization process. The desulfurizationprocess using 20% HCl solution aims to reduce sulfur content, demineralization process using 20% NaOH solution todecrease the ash content and carbonization process aims to reduce the content of volatile matter and to increase fixedcarbon content . Coal of subbituminus from Mallawa can be processed into coal bituminous, with desulfurizationprocess can reduce sulfur content from 1.73% to 0.365%, while in demineralization process can decrease ash contentfrom 15.26% to 9.98% and carbonization process at 500 oC with time for 240 minutes can be reduce of volatile matter46.16% to 13.08%, while water content decreased from 2.64% to 1.16%, carbon content increase from 35.96%, to85.67%, and the heat value increased from 5190 kcal / kgram become 7931,69 kkal / kgram. Coal with the content asabove can be categorized coal type bituminus or coking coal can be utilized as raw material of cokes.Keyword : desulfurization ,demineralization, carbonization , coking coa
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
