Kolaborasi Adaptif Pendidikan Agama Kristen Keluarga: Upaya Merevitalisasi Pemikiran Thomas H. Groome dan Robert Boehlke
Abstract. The implementation of Christian Religious Education in the family is a task that needs to be seriously considered and attempted by parents as a way to achieve the values of Christian faith in the family. Thus, Robert Boehlke proposed the important role of parents who are equipped with knowledge, skills and spiritual guidance. Meanwhile, Thomas H. Groome proposed the importance of a critical reflection approach that focuses on the cognitive aspects of children. Boehlke's thinking emphasizes the role of parents without considering parental responsibility, while Groome's thinking emphasizes the independence of children which refers to a critical reflection centered on cognitive formation. Therefore, in this study the author proposes adaptive collaboration in family education as a form of implementing education that focuses on cooperation between parents and children who adjust to each other in their respective roles. This education includes five focuses, namely cognitive, affective, conative, psychomotor, and spiritual development.

Delivering gender equality through UK major infrastructure projects
This thesis examines gender inequality as a structural feature of project-organising ininfrastructure development. Although this problem has been well-characterised inprevious literature, existing project studies rarely ascertain how policymakers attemptto drive social change, and why project-based organisations might resist. This researchapplied traditional research methods in a stark setting for pioneering positive action –the UK construction industry – to extend enquiry in new directions that might need moresubstantial change. In this national context, political motivation for transformation relieson mounting pressure to successfully deliver the Government’s £600bn NationalInfrastructure Strategy 2020 in a competition for talent. Using a feminist-leaning andaction-oriented research design, I discovered an unexpected case of strategic capabilitybuildingfrom public-private partnerships delivering the UK Equality Act (2010), wherebycommitted policymakers and ambitious HR managers were able to incrementally closethe gap between policy intentions and outcomes, despite implementation challenges. My theoretical contribution has been to bridge divergent, yet complementary, literatures in a new grounded theory, to help overcome the limitations of many existingEDI policies in project-based organisations, and explain why so many interventions canbe either ineffective or counterproductive in practice. Findings call attention to theneed for significant additional action, that goes beyond attracting and recruiting newstaff, to establish the collaborative working conditions required for more diverse talentto thrive. Building on the work of Parvin and Pollock (2020), I argue that, while morepragmatic behavioural approaches can generate positive outcomes in practice, withoutmore radical attention to power structures, EDI policy remains largely decoupled fromdaily business under the guise of a meritocracy. I conclude that, in a trade-off betweenambition and realism, existing EDI policy needs to overcome substantive barriers totransformation by better: (1) incorporating understandings of intersectionality(Crenshaw, 1989), (2) re-negotiating legitimacy (Suchman, 1995), and (3) deliveringmore “intelligent” mechanisms for accountability (Roberts, 2009). Moving forwards, developmental opportunities are expected to unfold over time as policymakers gatherdata, monitor performance, and re-strategise, in the process of challenging institutionalrules to establish new norms.</p

Comparative effectiveness of total hip arthroplasty and hemiarthroplasty for femoral neck fracture: A Propensity-Score-Matched Cohort Study
Background:
The optimal treatment of older patients with a displaced femoral neck fracture remains a controversial topic. This study aimed to compare clinical outcomes across a matched group of patients with a femoral neck fracture treated with either hemiarthroplasty or total hip arthroplasty (THA).
Methods:
Routinely collected health-care databases were linked to create a population-based cohort of 49,597 patients ≥60 years old from Ontario, Canada, who underwent hemiarthroplasty or THA for a femoral neck fracture between 2002 and 2017. A propensity-score-matched cohort was created using relevant and available predictors of treatment assignment and outcomes of interest. Clinical outcomes consisting of hip dislocation, revision surgery, hospital readmission, and death were compared in the matched cohort using survival analysis.
Results:
Over 99% of THA patients (4,612) were adequately matched 1:1 to hemiarthroplasty patients (total matched cohort = 9,224). Patients treated with THA were at higher risk for hip dislocation at 30 days and 1 and 2 years postoperatively (2-year risk, 1.8% for THA versus 0.8% for hemiarthroplasty; p < 0.001). There was no difference in the short-term (30-day) or long-term (up to 10-year) risk of revision surgery between treatment groups. There was no significant difference in the risk of 30-day hospital readmission between groups. The risk of death at 1 year and 2 years postoperatively was lower for patients treated with THA.
Conclusions:
For patients with a hip fracture, shared decision-making should involve discussion of the potential higher risk of short-term hip dislocation after THA compared with hemiarthroplasty. The risk of revision surgery was similar between treatment groups at up to 10 years of follow-up.

Lan honetan ingeniaritza genetikoa definitzen da nekazaritza sektorean duen aplikazioaren ikuspegitik. Inclusive stakeholder engagement for equitable knowledge co-production: Insights from the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme in climate change research
We develop and apply the concept of equitable knowledge co-production (EKC) by proposing a reflexive framework to support inclusive stakeholder engagement with diverse knowledge-holders. This framework is built on the authors’ experiences of leading three ongoing Horizon 2020 projects, and its goal is to contribute to the realisation of epistemic and recognition justice in the context of large-scale research and innovation projects by raising awareness of how knowledge co-production is carried out during the project proposal and implementation phases
Child of Earth
This dissertation is a novel centered on themes of family dysfunction, the confluence of class and morality, generational and individual experiences of trauma, mental illness, the mental healthcare system, nature, hegemonic masculinity, collective guilt, love, death, suicide, and community. The author follows three main strands through the novel, centered on the three main characters: June Hamilton, Abram Groome, and Sarah Ham (née Katie Belle Hamilton); mother, father, and daughter, respectively. The connection and disconnection of these three characters, with the intervention of several others across the American South, form the work’s central conflict. Community, family, and forgiveness provide a source of healing and understanding for these three characters as they navigate the changing world around them. The preface describes the author’s experiences as they influence the work, including his own experiences with trauma and mental illness, while also explicating some of the literary works that impacted the novel’s genesis
Successfull Blossom Thinning and Crop Load Regulation for Organic Apple Growing with Potassium-bi-carbonate (Armicarb(R)): Results of Field Experiments over 3 Years and with 11 Cultivars
With field trials over 3 years in a commercial organic orchard in Switzerland we have tested the efficacy of Armicarb® (potassium-bi-carbonate) for flower thinning in organic apple production. Over time, Armicarb was tested on 11 cultivars, at different application periods, in different concentrations, and always in comparison to other agents that are already allowed for thinning in organic fruit production in the European Union as e.g. lime sulphur, molasses, mechanical rope-thinner or combinations of methods. Armicarb proved to be an efficient and reliable thinning agent with an efficacy similar to the now recommended methods with rope device, molasses or lime sulphur but has the advantage to be an environmentally very friendly product. On the other hand, the risk for fruit russeting is comparably elevated especially with cultivars ‘Elstar’, ‘Golden Del.’ ’and ‘Gala’. Finally, we have elaborated cultivar-specific recommendations for the use of Armicarb for thinning purposes, which were the basis for the Swiss Federal approval to use Armicarb for thinning in conventional and organic apple production in 2011/2012
Including Children in the Life of the Congregation: A contemporary Mennonite Exploration
grantor: Emmanuel CollegeThe Mennonite faith tradition, which originated with sixteenth century Anabaptism, practices believers baptism which assumes a voluntary and adolescent or adult decision to join the church as a member. Children are excluded from church membership by virtue of their age. This study explores how, in fight of the Anabaptist faith heritage, a Mennonite congregation in the twenty-first century might be more inclusive of its children.
From a liberative stance informed by a feminist perspective, the author reflected on the writings of one Anabaptist theologian, Pilgram Marpeck, the confessional statements of the Mennonite Church, and key biblical texts regarding the nature and nurture of children in order to articulate a theology of children for contemporary Mennonite ecclesiology.
The author's action in ministry project involved exploring this theology further with real children and adults from one Mennonite congregation in Waterloo, Ontario. Eight children were interviewed about their relationships with God and the church. in addition, the author facilitated a five session series of meetings with a group of ten adults in the hope of encouraging the congregation to examine and transform its ecclesial practices with children. The methodology used to gather data and facilitate the learning process was the shared praxis approach to religious education developed and articulated by Catholic religious educator, Thomas Groome.
The author concluded that, in order for Mennonite congregations to be more inclusive theologically of their children, church membership must be based in community rather than believers baptism, and initiation of the child into the church community happens through a child consecration ceremony. Both a careful process of theological reflection and a new fresh metaphor for church are needed to help congregations practice more age-inclusivity. The author introduces one such metaphor of church as children in God's playground, in which children are moved from the margins of congregational life to the centre.Ph.D
