    V magistrski nalogi z naslovom Učinkovitost Paukove strategije pri pouku slovenskega jezika v petem razredu osnovne šole sem se v teoretičnem delu osredotočila na pojma učenje in branje ter na njuno medsebojno povezanost. Branje je namreč dejavnost, preko katere pridemo do znanja, torej, se s pomočjo branja učimo. Da se kar najlažje učimo, pa moramo biti bralno pismeni. To pomeni, da moramo razumeti, kaj beremo in znati besedilo tudi kritično ovrednotiti. Vse to lahko počnemo s pomočjo bralno učnih strategij, ki nam pomagajo pri obravnavi besedila. Ena izmed strategij je Paukova strategija, ki učence spodbuja k iskanju ključnih podatkov in ključnih besed iz besedila. Namen magistrske naloge je bil preveriti učinkovitost Paukove strategije pri branju besedil iz učbenika za družbo (Verdev & Žlender, 2017) v 5. razredu. V raziskavi sta sodelovala dva oddelka 5. razreda, ki sta bila razdeljena na kontrolno in eksperimentalno skupino. Raziskava je potekala šest tednov in v tem času sta bili izvedeni dve preverjanji. Eno je bilo izvedeno na začetku in eno ob koncu raziskave. Raziskava je pokazala, da so učenci eksperimentalne skupine napredovali na področju obdelave besedila s pomočjo Paukove strategije, medtem ko pri kontrolni skupini napredek ni bil opažen.In the theoretical part of my master\u27s thesis The effectiveness of Pauk\u27s strategy in teaching of Slovenian language in the fifth grade of primary school, I focused on the concepts of learning and reading, as well as their interconnectivity. Reading is namely an activity through which we gain knowledge, so we learn through reading. However, in order to learn as easily as possible, we must be literate in reading. This means that we need to understand what we are reading and be able to critically evaluate the text. We can do all of this through reading learning strategies that help us deal with the text. One such strategy is Pauk\u27s strategy, which encourages students to search for key information and keywords in the text. The purpose of my master\u27s thesis was to test the effectiveness of Pauk\u27s strategy while reading texts from a textbook for the subject society (Verdev & Žlender, 2017) in 5th grade. Two 5th grade sections participated in the study and were divided into control and experimental group. The study was conducted for six weeks and two testings were carried out during this time. One was performed at the beginning and one at the end of the study. The study showed that the students of the experimental group made progress with text processing using Pauk\u27s strategy, while no progress was observed in the control group

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. MUDr. Norbert Pauk, Ph.D. SUMMARY Introduction: Examination of exhaled breath condensate is offered as a new, noninvasive diagnostic method in lung diseases. It has been described about 200 markers, which were verified in the condensate, some more, some less developed. The gold standard of examination is exhaled nitric oxide and its metabolites. Other markers are studied in the diagnosis of COPD or pulmonary fibrotic processes. The aim is to use them not only for diagnosis, but also for monitoring dinase, or preventive measures. Methods: 124 patients were examined during 3 years at The University Clinics of Pneumology and Thoracic Surgery in Prague Bulovka and the Pulmonary Department of the Regional Hospital of Tomas Bata in Zlín. Among them were assembled subgroups: a) the health of nonsmokers, b) smokers without any symptoms of respiratory illness with normal lung function tests, c) asthmatics with evidence of uncontrolled disease treatment, d) in asthmatics who had controlled disease, e) patients with exacerbated COPD, f) COPD patients without evidence of exacerbation, g) patients with..

    Analyticity constraints for hadron amplitudes : going high to heal low energy issues

    Analyticity constitutes a rigid constraint on hadron scattering amplitudes. This property is used to relate models in different energy regimes. Using meson photoproduction as a benchmark, we show how to test contemporary low-energy models directly against high-energy data. This method pinpoints deficiencies of the models and treads a path to further improvement. The implementation of this technique enables one to produce more stable and reliable partial waves for future use in hadron spectroscopy and new physics searches

    Variations on the Author

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Organic fluorophores for advanced applications

    Predmetom skúmania tejto diplomovej práce sú organické fluorofóry s možnou, vysoko intenzívnou fluorescenciou. Ich štruktúra pri excitácii s dostatočnou energiou by potenciálne mohla viesť k zosilnenej spontánnej emisii (ASE). Všetky experimenty boli vykonávané pre charakterizáciu látok v roztoku a v pevnej fáze. Následne spin-coatingom pripravené tenké vrstvy v polystyrénovej matrici boli skúmané pre ich potenciálnu ASE. Materiály, ktoré budú predstavené v práci sú dvojakého charakteru. Jedna trojica látok je na báze diketopyrol-pyrolového jadra s modifikovanými postrannými reťazcami. Druhá skupina látok, sú organické molekuly s dlhým -konjugovaným systémom dvojných väzieb. Teoretickou rešeršou v danej problematike boli získané znalosti o stratégiách dizajnovania organických fluorofórov pre získanie požadovaných vlastností. Nadobudli sme vedomosti o tom, ako rozdielne prostredia vplývajú na vnútromolekulové pohyby a medzimolekulové interakcie fluorofórov a ako to vplýva na ich fluorescenciu. V neposlednom rade sme sa dozvedeli informácie ohľadom ASE a ich využitiu v rozdielnych odvetviach priemyslu a medicíny. UV-Vis absorpčnou spektroskopiou a fluorescenčnou spektroskopiou boli získané absorpčné, emisné a excitačné spektrá látok v troch rôznych formách. Zároveň boli študované doby života fluorescencie a kvantové výťažky týchto látok. Vo forme tenkých vrstiev bola študovaná hrúbka tenkej vrstvy a jej ASE prostredníctvom vysoko intenzívneho zdroja žiarenia. Výsledkom diplomovej práce je poznatok, že predĺženie -konjugovaného systému vedie k bathochrómnemu posunu emisie a že väčšia sila push-pull efektu taktiež vedie k červenému posunu. Fluorescenčné maximá menili svoje pozície vzhľadom na formu látky. Kvantové výťažky látok boli závislé hlavne na skupenstve látky, kde najvyššie hodnoty dosahovali látky v roztokoch. V pevnej fáze v podobe prášku efektivita fluorescencie klesla, niekedy takmer úplne zhasla. Vo forme tenkých vrstiev boli hodnoty kvantových výťažkov niekde uprostred medzi roztokom a práškom. Študované -konjugované látky neboli dostatočne dobre rozpustné pre tvorbu kvalitných tenkých vrstiev a preto boli vylúčené z merania ASE. Látky na báze DPP vykazovali určitú mieru ASE, ktorá však súvisela s kvalitou a hrúbkou tenkej vrstvy a preto sme sa aj tu stretávali s určitými problémami. Napriek tomu boli vypočítané prahové energia ASE.The subject of this diploma thesis is the investigation of organic fluorophores with potentially high-intensity fluorescence. Upon excitation with sufficiently energetic radiation, their structure may lead to amplified spontaneous emission (ASE). All experiments were conducted to characterize the compounds both in solution and in the solid state. Thin films in a polystyrene matrix, prepared by spin-coating, were subsequently examined for their potential ASE activity. Two types of compounds were studied. The first group consists of three derivatives based on a diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP) core with modified side chains. The second group comprises organic molecules with extended -conjugated double bond systems. A theoretical literature review was conducted to gather insights into the design strategies for organic fluorophores tailored to achieve desired optical properties. Knowledge was acquired regarding how different environments affect intramolecular motions and intermolecular interactions of fluorophores, and how these factors influence their fluorescence behaviour. In addition, information on ASE and its applications across various industrial and medical fields was obtained. UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy were employed to acquire absorption, emission, and excitation spectra of the compounds in three physical forms. Fluorescence lifetimes and quantum yields were also determined. In the form of thin films, layer thickness and ASE behaviour under high-intensity irradiation were evaluated. The results of the thesis revealed that extension of the -conjugated system leads to a bathochromic shift in emission maxima, and that an increased push-pull effect similarly results in a red shift. Fluorescence maxima were observed to shift depending on the physical form of the sample. Quantum yields were primarily dependent on the state of the material, with the highest values found in solution. In the solid state (powder form), fluorescence efficiency decreased substantially, sometimes becoming almost completely quenched. In thin-film form, quantum yields were intermediate between those in solution and powder. The studied -conjugated compounds were insufficiently soluble to form high-quality thin films and were therefore excluded from ASE measurements. DPP-based compounds exhibited a certain degree of ASE; however, the effect was strongly influenced by the thickness and quality of the spin-coated films, which posed additional challenges during evaluation. Nonetheless, lasing threshold excitation energy values were determined.

    Využití sociálních médií v B2B prodeji

    Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tím, jak mohou B2B obchodníci využívat sociální média v prodeji. Na základě systematické rešerše literatury, autor zjistil, že akademici, zkoumající danou problematiku, navrhují další výzkum, a to: v kterých konkrétních krocích se dají využít sociální média v prodeji (Salo, 2017). Autor se na základě toho rozhodl zjistit, jaké sociální sítě, různé technologie a pluginy se dají využít v B2B prodeji - tzv. social sellingu. Social selling se v této práci týká primárně procesu akvizice a okrajově péčí o stávající zákazníky. Autor si vybral kvalitativní průzkum pomocí 10 hloubkových polo-strukturovaných rozhovorů, aby odhalil jak, která sociální média to jsou, tak i motivaci prodejců, proč tato média používat/nepoužívat. Aby autor dodržel správnost vyhodnocení výsledků, data byla analyzována pomocí Tématické analýzy, která v této studii vykrystalizovala 2 hlavní strategické přístupy v social sellingu. Tyto přístupy (tzv. Push a Pull strategie) obsahují praktické příklady a konkrétní aktivity, které mohou prodejci využívat v každodenní praxi. Tyto výsledky jsou prezentovány s důrazem na praktičnost a jednoduchost implementace. Tvoří proto hlavní přínos autorovo výzkumu. V poslední části autor zmiňuje výzvy a manažerská doporučení, které mohou obchodníci využít v každodenním pracovním životě.This diploma thesis focuses on social media usage in B2B sales. Based on the systematic literature review conducted by the author, he has found out that recent researchers (Salo, 2017) suggest further research in the area of how and in which sales phase should various social networking sites, technologies and plugins used. To further fill this research gap, author decided to identify these social media and their usage among B2B salespeople in the so-called social selling process. The social selling process in this thesis applies mainly to acquiring new prospects and tangentially to taking care of existing clients (follow-up step). Author has chosen a qualitative research method via conducting 10 in-depth semi-structured interviews to reveal these instruments as well as motivation of a sales person on why to use social media in the selling process. The collected data was analyzed using Thematic analysis to ensure the right procedure and to identify main themes which crystalized into 2 main strategic approaches in social selling. These approaches (Push and Pull) include practical examples of concrete activities which sales people can use in their daily jobs and are presented with focus on practicality and ease of implementation. These also form the main contribution of author`s research. In the last part, author mentions challenges in social selling and recommended managerial implications for salesforce
