Manajemen Pengelolaan Sampah dalam Rangka Pengembangan Kota Medan Berwawasan Lingkungan

The fact that the number of population may increase and the activities in a city may develop will result in an increasing waste of various kinds. There are 5 (five) aspects such as funding, institution, law, operational technique, and role of community which are influencing in waste processing. Of the five aspects, funding is the most influencing aspect because most of the activities in waste processing needs funding or, in other words, funding is the spear head waste processing.
The purpose of this study was to analyze (1) the waste processing management in the city of Medan including planning, organizing and controlling and reporting, (2) the development of original local revenue obtained from waste tax the number of population on the original local revenue obtained from waste tax in Medan.
Waste processing management and original local revenue development obtained from waste tax analyzed through descriptive analysis method. The impact of waste processing budget, cleaning manpower, and the number of population on the original local revenue obtained from waste tax in Medan was analyzed through multiple linear regression tests.
The result of study showed that the waste processing management including planning, organizing, and controlling and reporting in Medan Sanitation Service has been implemented although it is not like what is expected and the original local revenue obtained from waste tax for 5 (five) years (2004-2008) keeps increasing. It means that community care about environmental sanitation has increased which is seen through their willingness to pay the waste tax. The result of this study also showed that waste processing budget, cleaning manpower, and the number of population simultaneously and partially had a significant impact on the original local revenue obtained from waste tax in Medan.Hotmawati Lidya Pakpahan, Nim.087003025 “ Manajemen Pengelolaan Sampah Dalam Rangka Pengembangan Kota Medan Berwawasan Lingkungan ,dibawah bimbingan Prof.Bachtiar Hassan Miraza, Drs. Adanya kecendrungan jumlah penduduk yang semakin meningkat serta diikuti kegiatan kota yang makin berkembang maka akan menimbulkan dampak adanya buangan/limbah yang meningkat dan bervariasi. Dalam pengelolaan sampah terdapat 5 aspek yang berpengaruh yaitu pembiayaan, kelembagaan, hukum, teknik operasional dan peran masyarakat. Dari kelima aspek tersebut, aspek pembiayaan merupakan aspek yang paling berpengaruh karena sebagian besar kegiatan dalam pengelolaan sampah memerlukan biaya atau dapat dikatakan aspek pembiayaan merupakan ujung tombak dalam pengelolaan sampah.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis manajemen pengelolaan sampah yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan & pelaporan di Kota Medan, untuk menganalisis perkembangan Pendapatan Asli Daerah dari Retribusi Sampah di Kota Medan, dan untuk menganalisis pengaruh anggaran pengelolaan sampah, tenaga kerja kebersihan, dan jumlah penduduk terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah dari Retribusi Sampah di Kota Medan.
Manajemen pengelolaan sampah dan perkembangan Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) dari retribusi sampah dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Pengaruh anggaran pengelolaan sampah, tenaga kebersihan, jumlah penduduk terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) dari retribusi sampah di Kota Medan dianalisis dengan regresi linier berganda.
Hasil yang di peroleh dari penelitian ini yaitu bahwa manajemen pengelolaan sampah yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan & pelaporan di Dinas Kebersihan Kota Medan telah dilaksanakan walaupun belum sesuai seperti yang diharapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) dari Retribusi Sampah selama kurun waktu 5 tahun (2004-2008) terus mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kepedulian masyarakat terhadap kebersihan lingkungan meningkat yang terlihat dari peningkatan ketertiban masyarakat dalam membayar retribusi. Destined for Destitution : Intergenerational Poverty Persistence in Indonesia
Get PDFWe estimate intergenerational poverty persistence in Indonesia using a panel dataset. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first such study looking at the issue in the Indonesian context. Different from the majority of studies on this issue, we include controls for several household and individual characteristics, including for living arrangements. Moreover, to circumvent data issues that plague earnings data in developing countries, we use chronic poverty status as a long-term parental welfare measure. We find there is a substantial intergenerational mobility away from poverty among children from poor households. However, the risk of continuing to live in poverty as adults is 35 percentage points higher for children from chronically poor households than for children from households which are not chronically poor.chronic poverty, intergenerational mobility, children, welfare, Indonesia

No full textThe Cupid, also known as Amor Vincit Omnia, painted by Caravaggio in the first half of 1602 for Vincenzo Giustiniani in Rome, is one of the best-known paintings by the Lombard painter, but also one of the most investigated and iconographically debated. Art historians have proposed different readings of this work, from those they consider the objects surrounding Amor symbols that refer to the arts of the quadrivium, but incompletely; others that make it generically included among the emblematic paintings or connect it to the patron whose intellectual and military qualities it would exalt; still others connect it to the Trionfi of Petrarch or to the poetry of the same period, or give it a soteric value linked to the reformed Catholic doctrines; finally, some identify a homoerotic matrix linked to the author or even to the client's environment. In this article, starting from some readings already advanced by critics over time, a reading closely linked to classical poetry is proposed, considering Merisi's painting the pictura of an emblem, to which a precise lemma would be connected, identified in the well-known couplet by Marzio Milesi and a broader epigramma, instead identified in a well-known Latin elegiac passage, which the observers of the time could have easily identified. A reading that would also present a profound moral value directly linked to the Catholic doctrine that distinguishes antecedent concupiscence from consequent concupiscence

No full textFeminist literary criticism is one of the literary criticisms that seeks to describe and examine women's experiences in various literary works. This study aims to describe women's struggles in facing gender injustice and seeking freedom in a patriarchal society. The main character, who is a woman, shows courage and determination in the face of social norms that limit her role and rights as a female individual. There is this study the author uses a structural approach. The structural approach aims to explain as carefully as possible the functions and relationships between literary works and show the relationship between these elements. The research used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The data in this study is in the form of feminist literary criticism in a short story entitled Tear Picker by Agus Noor, which is contained in a collection of short stories by Agus Noor.
