Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
No full textThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. No full textForam conduzidos dois experimentos em laboratório e em condições de campo para avaliação da eficiência térmica da embalagem Tetra Pak(r) como isolante térmico em escamoteadores aquecidos. No experimento em laboratório, foi utilizado o delineamento inteiramente ao acaso, adotando-se dois tratamentos (com e sem revestimento de embalagens Tetra Pak(r)) com 15 repetições (dias). O experimento em condições de campo foi conduzido na sala de maternidade de suínos. O delineamento foi inteiramente ao acaso, adotando-se dois tratamentos com 12 repetições. Os tratamentos foram: escamoteadores aquecidos com e sem revestimento interno com embalagem Tetra Pak(r). Foram medidos os dados de temperatura ambiente, umidade relativa do ar, temperatura superficial do piso, temperatura superficial da pele, comportamento e ganho de peso dos leitões lactentes. O uso da embalagem Tetra Pak(r) como isolante térmico no revestimento de escamoteadores manteve a temperatura ambiente confortável (32°C), proporcionando conforto térmico aos leitões lactentes67514491456Two experiments were conducted in laboratory and field conditions to evaluate the thermal efficiency of the Tetra Pak packaging as insulation in heated creeps. In the laboratory experiment a completely randomized design was used, adopting two treatments (with and without packaging coating with Tetra Pak(r)) with 15 repetitions (days). The experiment under field conditions was conducted in a swine nursery. The design was completely randomized, adopting two treatments with 12 repetitions. The treatments consisted of heated creep with and without Tetra Pak(r) lining. The data measured were ambient temperature, relative humidity, surface temperature of the floor, surface temperature of skin, behavior and weight gain of suckling piglets. No full textThis study aims to explain the form of code switching and code switching contained in Lapor Pak broadcasts on the Trans7 Lifestyle Youtube Channel. The research approach a qualitative descriptive in the form of a description of the data obtained in the analysis. The data used is through the form of speech, sentences and paragraphs. Then the method used is a qualitative method. The data source for this research is the Youtube Lapor Pak program entitled Secret Mission to America which was published on December 14, 2021 with a duration of 48:07 minutes. The data collection technique used by the author in this study is through the listening technique and the note-taking techniques. The type of instrument used is in the form of non-participant observation, namely the author observes YouTube videos from start to finish. The results obtained in this study are the forms of code switching and the role of code switching contained in the Lapor Pak show on the Trans7 Lifestyle Youtube Channel. The forms of code switching obtained include; internal code switching from Indonesian to Javanese, then from Javanese to Indonesian. Then the external code switching switches from Indonesian to English and from English to Indonesian. HUBUNGAN REWARD AND PUNISHMENT OLEH GURU PAK DAN PERHATIAN ORANG TUA DENGAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR PAK SISWA
No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) hubungan reward dan punishment oleh guru PAK dengan motivasi belajar siswa, (2) hubungan perhatian orang tua dengan motivasi belajar PAK siswa, (3) hubungan reward and punishment dan perhatian orang tua secara bersama-sama dengan motivasi belajar PAK siswa. Tehnik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan jumlah populasi 163 Siswa dengan jumlah sampel 49 Siswa yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik acak proposional berstrata. Teknik yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data adalah angket dan dengan menggunakan uji hipotesis korelasi ganda. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan: (1) reward and punishment dengan motivasi belajar dengan rhitung> rtabel yaitu (0.43 > 0.28) dan thitung > ttabel yaitu (3.24> 2.00), (2) perhatian orang tua dengan motivasi belajar dengan rhitung> rtabel yaitu (0.44 > 0.28) dan thitung > ttabel yaitu (3.36> 2.00), (3) reward and punishment dan perhatian orang tua dengan motivasi belajar dengan rhitung = 0.53, dan uji signifikan diperoleh nilai Fh > Ft yaitu (8.98 > 3.19) maka koefisien korelasi ganda yang diuji adalah signifikan sehingga dapat diberlakukan dimana sampel diambil.
