Colours in Fiodor Glinka’s poetry
The article discusses functions of colours in the poetry of Fiodor Glinka – 19th century Russian poet. The colour range of his poetry is fi lled with chromatic and achromatic colours mainly. Not only clear colours but also their shades have been analysed in the present survey. Red and blue appear most frequently in Glinka’s poetry, yellow, white and black coming next, and green as the least frequent. High tones predominate in the poetry, the colours are usually intense, rich and vivid. Their symbolic function is usually to link with the culture and archetypes. Rich colours help to create vividness, build atmosphere, display informative, expressive and evaluative functions. With the help of linguistic means of expression the author imitates the techniques characteristic for painting, what confi rms his high poetic artistry
Contemporary novels by Henryk Sienkiewicz in the context of Fiodor Dostojewski's literary output
The subject matter of the analysed text are contemporary novels by Henryk Sienkiewicz: Bez dogmatu, Rodzina Połanieckich and by Fiodor Dostojewski: Bracia Karamazow, Idiota and, in particular, Zbrodnia i kara. The output of both writers is located within the framework of the European model of the psychological novel of the end of the 19th century. The author indicates typological similarities of the prose and at the same time asks questions about individual distinguishing features concerning the technique, aesthetic outlook and philosophy of life. Genetic references for Sienkiewicz’s novels are placed within the Russian Romanticism, particularly in Alexander Pushkhin. The author concludes that the novels by the Polish and the Russian writers are similar in terms of general plot outlines, such as the structure of biography of protagonists and emphasis on their psychological self-analysis. They are differentiated by an original approach to ethical and moral issues such as faith, suffering, expiation for deeds, possessive love, or growth in spiritual revival
Życie w cieniu Wielkiego Inkwizytora (Józef Tischner i Fiodor Dostojewski)
The problems raised in the article concern the famous figure of the Grand Inquisitor, with whom we meet in the philosophical reflections of Joseph Tischner; of course, a figure taken directly from the pages of Fiodor Dostoyevsky's novel. This is not the only way to refer Tischner's thought to the "philosophical imaginarium" created by the author of The Brothers Karamazov. It is worth taking a closer look at what is hidden in the "shadow" that the Grand Inquisitor has around him. Considerations, nolens volens, must therefore refer to the "gifts" of the Grand Inquisitor: apparent goodness and freedom. In other words: we will ask for the figure of the Grand Inquisitor as – an alarming, still dangerous – "central figure of the modern philosophy of power." Both, Dostoyevsky and Tischner invoke questions that cannot be removed in a simple way, furthermore, in a way they invalidate this gesture, they continue to put us (and inevitably pose) against the danger of a political "illusion" in which the highest values remain at stake.Podjęta w artykule problematyka dotyczy słynnej figury Wielkiego Inkwizytora, z którą spotykamy się w filozoficznych rozważaniach Józefa Tischnera; oczywiście, figury wprost zaczerpniętej z kart powieści Fiodora Dostojewskiego. Nie są to zresztą jedyne nawiązania myśli Tischnera do „imaginarium filozoficznego” twórcy Braci Karamazow. Warto zatem przyjrzeć się bliżej temu, co kryje się w „cieniu”, jaki roztacza wokół siebie Wielki Inkwizytor. Rozważania, nolens volens, muszą zatem dotyczyć „darów” Wielkiego Inkwizytora: pozornego dobra i pozornej wolności. Innymi słowy: zapytamy o postać Wielkiego Inkwizytora jako – niepokojącą, wciąż groźną – „centralną postać nowożytnej filozofii władzy”. I Dostojewski, i Tischner przywołują bowiem pytania, które nie dają się prostym sposobem odsunąć i gestem tym niejako unieważnić, nadal stawiają nas (i niechybnie stawiać będą) przed niebezpieczeństwem „iluzji” politycznej, w której stawką pozostają najwyższe wartości.  
“Holy Trinity and Genesis Scenes”. Icon from the Troitse-Gledensky Мonastery
The article concerns some stylistic features of the 17th сentury icon of the “Holy Trinity” from the
Troitse-Gledensky monastery near Veliky Ustyug. The author examines other meanings devoted to
this image and also tells about some new early documentation which containing information about it.
They prove, that it was in the past an extremely important icon of the Trinity cathedral. Investigating
its style, the author identifies the closest stylistic analogies as the icons created by the famous Russian
painter Fiodor Zubov from the late 1750s to the early 1760s. New iconographic sources of the icon are
named for the first time. The early work of Fiodor Zubov and “Holy Trinity” are considered as belonging

The article raises the issue of the evaluation of works by Fiodor Dostojewski by Vladimir
Nabokov, who evaluated writings by the author of Idiot as „secondary literature” in Lectures on
the Russian literature. The attempts were made to account for such an evaluation and the meaning
of the notion was reconstructed, juxtaposed with the notion of highbrow and ingenious‑innovative
literature contrasted with Dostojewski’s writings perceived as ideological, devoid
of artistic values, the most important for the author of Gift. The attempts were made to combine
Nabokov’s evaluations with contemporary conceptions of a division of the literature into highbrow,
middle and popular

A close reading of two poems by Boris Pasternak (“A Storm in July” and “To the Memory of Demon”). Both poems are considered to be inverted variants (or “antitexts”) of Russian classical poems by Fiodor Tiutchev and Mikhail Lermontov (Tiutchev‘s “Spring Storm” and Lermontov‘s “Demon,” respectively). In this scientific paper there are described some aspects of the continuing formation of the medical assistants oriented to the education in health which represent a complex and exhaustive human phenomenon that includes more dimensions which interact by participating actively to the formation of the person’s personality.Hereinafter, the author confirms the important role of education for health in the formation and development of a conception and some balanced positive behaviors, starting from the youngest age with the purpose of consolidating the health, the harmonious development and strengthening of the human body as well as the adaptation to the environmental and social conditions.În lucrare se descriu unele particularităţi privind formarea competenţelor prospective în educaţia pentru sănătate a asistenţilor medicali, prin care autorul argumentează necesitatea antrenării permanente a populaţiei, mai cu seamă a specialiştilor din domeniul educaţiei, medicinei şi învăţămîntului la acţiuni sanitare cu caracter educativ, pentru a promova arta de a fi sănătos şi a forma cultura sănătăţii.
