Proceedings of the Paris Open Science European Conference
For more than twenty years, the international research community has affirmed its support for open and collaborative practices that improve the quality, transparency, reproducibility and inclusiveness of science. In France, this orientation has been reflected in the adoption of two National Plans for Open Science, in 2018 and 2021. In this context and on the occasion of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, France organised the Open Science European Conference (OSEC) on 4 and 5 February 2022. This conference on the transformation of the research and innovation ecosystem in Europe was an opportunity to address in particular transparency in health research, the future of scientific publishing and the opening of codes and software produced in a scientific context, but also the necessary transformations of research assessment, summarised in the Paris Call presented during the event and calling for the creation of a coalition of actors committed to reforming the current system. This international event was organised was organised by the French Académie des sciences, the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), the National Institute of Health and Medical Research (Inserm), the High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (Hcéres), the National Research Agency (ANR), the University of Lorraine and the University of Nantes. For more than twenty years, the international research community has affirmed its support for open and collaborative practices that improve the quality, transparency, reproducibility and inclusiveness of science.
International scientific-practical conference "Actual problems of applied sciences"
The collection of materials of the international scientific conference "Actual problems of applied sciences" is the most modern survey articles of internationally recognized authorities. Authors wishing to submit a review to the journal must submit a proposal to the editor, first using the application form as a guide.
The journal provides a link between original articles, innovations published in patents, and modern knowledge in various scientific fields. It publishes review articles in interdisciplinary areas in which significant contributions are made.
Journals Covered by Leading Indexing Databases
Open European Academy of Public Sciences aims to have all of its journals covered by the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) and Scopus and Web of Science indexing systems. Several journals have already been covered by SCIE for several years and have received official Impact Factors. Some ‘life science’-related journals are also covered by PubMed/MEDLINE and archived through PubMed Central (PMC). All of our journals are archived with the Spanish and Germany National Library.
All Content is Open Access and Free for Readers
Journals published by Open European Academy of Public Sciences are fully open access: research articles, reviews or any other content on this platform is available to everyone free of charge. To be able to provide open access journals, we finance publication through article processing charges (APC); these are usually covered by the authors' institutes or research funding bodies. We offer access to science and the latest research to readers for free. All of our content is published in open access and distributed under a Creative Commons License, which means published articles can be freely shared and the content re-used, upon proper attribution.

In addition to being at the root of Open European Academy of Public Sciences and a key theme in our journals, we support sustainability by ensuring the long-term preservation of published papers, and the future of science through partnerships, sponsorships and awards.</p
Reflecting on Five years of the European Health Psychology Society’s Open Science Special Interest Group
Since the establishment of the European Health Psychology Society (EHPS) Open Science Special Interest Group (SIG) in 2019 (Norris & Toomey, 2020), we have been working hard to improve the awareness and uptake of Open Science practices within the European Health Psychology community. When we started, our aims were to 1) bring together health psychologists interested in Open Science behaviours, 2) share best practices/innovations in Open Science to health psychologists, 3) provide guidance and/or training on Open Science, 4) promote the role of health psychology for improving Open Science across disciplines, 5) liaise with organisations which promote Open Science and 6) encourage and reward replication and reproducibility within health psychology. Having now been established for five years and arriving back from successful SIG activities at the EHPS 2024 Conference in Cascais, Portugal, we wanted to reflect on our progress in recent years and share some of these developments.Bulletin of the European Health Psychology Society
Roadmap for a European open science alliance for ATM research
We here propose an open science alliance for ATM, advocating for open data in such a framework. The benefits of adopting an open science approach are to be found, inter alia, through the independent verification and validation of reported impacts/results and achieved performance levels, i.e., through reproducibility. We consider that this can only be achieved through: (1) open access to scientific methods and data utilised; (2) open access to (analytical) code and methods; (3) open review of reported analyses/research. The proper application of such practices will reduce the innovation cycles in ATM, which is much needed by industry and society. Steps for forming an open science alliance for ATM are described. We propose further initial, specific recommendations for supporting open data and improved access for research
The open method of co-ordination and the analysis of mutual learning processes of the European employment strategy
The purpose of this paper is to address two normative and interlinked methodological and theoretical questions concerning the Open Method of Coordination (OMC): First, what is the most appropriate approach to learning in the analyses of the processes of the European Employment Strategy (EES)? Second, how should mutual learning processes be diffused among the Member States in order to be efficient? In answering these two questions the paper draws on a social constructivist approach to learning thereby contributing to the debate about learning in the political science literature. At the same time, based on the literature and participatory observations, it is concluded that the learning effects of the EES are probably somewhat larger than what is normally suggested, but that successful diffusion still depends on a variety of contextual factors. At the end of the paper a path for empirical research based upon a social constructivist approach to learning is suggested.OMC, Social constructivism, Learning, Discourse analysis, Policy diffusion, European Employment Strategy
