Linear Regressions of Predicting Rainfall over Kalay Region
Regression analysis is a statistical technique for investigating the relationship between variables. In this paper, rainfall and water level prediction models are discussed with the use of empirical statistical technique, Simple Linear Regression and analyzed the development of the predictive power of Linear Regression model to forecast the predicting rainfall and water level over Kalay in Sagaing Region for 10 years 2008 2017 .The data of the monthly rainfall and water level used in this study were obtained from Meteorology and Hydrology Department of Kalay, Myanmar. In July 2015, Kalay was affected by the floods. So the rainfall and water level are predicted for next five years in this paper. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Real Time Eye Blinking and Yawning Detection
Detecting eye blink and yawning is important, for example in systems that monitor the vigilance of the human operator, eg Driver's drowsiness. Driver fatigue is one of the leading causes of the worlds deadliest road accidents. This shows that in the transport sector in particular, where a driver of heavy vehicles is often open to hours of monotonous driving which causes fatigue without frequent rest periods. It is therefore essential to design a road accident prevention system that can detect the drivers drowsiness, determine the drivers level of carelessness and warn when an imminent danger occurs. In this article, we propose a real time system that uses eye detection techniques, blinking and yawning. The system is designed as a non intrusive real time monitoring system. The priority is to improve driver safety without being intrusive. In this work, the blink of an eye and the drivers yawn are detected. If the drivers eyes remain closed for more than a certain time and the drivers mouth is open to yawning, the driver is said to be fatigue. COMPARATIVE STUDIES OF FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT (FDI) POLICIES BETWEEN VIETNAM AND MYANMAR (Khin Ohnmar Aung, 2018)
Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) has been recognized as an important driver for economic growth and development. Myanmar also highly appreciates FDI as a key solution for the economic growth. Thus, it is important to analyze the changes in FDI policies of Vietnam and Myanmar, and of their FDI policies. Both countries have favorable investment environments, offering abundant cheap labour, natural resources and investment friendly policies. This paper intends to analyze how both countries strive to attract FDI, and which variables determine the inflow of FDI into Myanmar and Vietnam during the period 1989 to 2017 by using the descriptive method. According to our analysis for Myanmar, the economic growth, changes of FDI Laws, changes of FDI polices and taxation system relating to FDI. For Vietnam’ FDI policies have a positive effect in attracting FDI.A rapid development during the last two decades is the continuous growth of FDI in the global economic landscape. This unprecedented growth of global FDI in 1990 around the world makes FDI an important component of development strategy in both developed and developing nations and required policies are designed in order to stimulate inward flows. The possible reason could be unstable investment, trade and banking policies and uncertain governance.Vietnam has experience a sufficient long process of FDI promotion, with notable success and failures
Leadership Styles,Job Satisfaction, and Employee Performance of Glory Farmer Development Bank (Saw Ohnmar Phyu, 2023)
This research examines the leadership styles, employee job satisfaction, and
employee performance at the Glory Farmer Development (G) bank. The objectives are
to evaluate the effect of leadership styles on employee job satisfaction and to analyze
the effect of employee job satisfaction on the performance of G bank employees. This
investigation employs both qualitative and quantitative research approaches. To meet
the study's objectives, both primary and secondary data are employed. Simple random
sampling is used to choose 140 G bank (Head Office) and branch employees in Yangon,
representing 30 percent of the entire workforce. Utilizing regression analysis, the data
are analyzed. The study concluded that G bank employs transformational, transactional,
and laissez-faire leadership styles. According to the perceptions of G bank's workers,
transformational leadership styles are the most prevalent. The influence of leadership
styles on job satisfaction revealed that transactional and laissez-faire leadership styles
have a favorable and significant impact on job satisfaction. The laissez-faire leadership
style has the greatest effect on job satisfaction compared to the other two styles. The
relationship between job satisfaction and employee performance is substantial.
Although the laissez-faire style has the greatest impact on job satisfaction, in the
banking business, which primarily deals with currency and risk, excessive laissez-faire
leadership can lead to misuse and fraud. Therefore, the bank should permit usage for
ordinary daily chores. However, a laissez-faire leadership style will be more effective
for low-risk tasks and formal activitie
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Regarding continuance commitment, only rewards and recognitions, and health and safety have positive affects on it. Among these two, the first one has major affect on continuance commitment. In additions, HR planning and recruitment is the major practice affecting on normative commitment. Training has positive affect on normative commitment as well. Regarding the organizational commitment, rewards and recognitions, and career planning and development have the positive relationship on it.
