    Technical report: mathematical modelling of splicing system of DNA molecules using permutation group / Nurul Syifa' Izhar

    Splicing system is a formal recombinant behavior of DNA molecules that undergo the process of cutting and pasting with the presence of an enzyme which is ligase. The splicing system between finite languages will only produce regular languages which are the lowest level of lan­guages in the Chomsky hierarchy. It is important to increase the level of languages in order to propose theoretical DNA-based computers. Therefore, to increase the level of language up to recursively enumerable languages, splicing system are considered with several restrictions as splicing rule. In this report, permutation group is used as a restrictions in the splicing sys­tem. Hence, splicing system over some permutation group has increased the level of languages generated according to Chomsky hierarchy

D ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi mengenai tingkat kepuasan konsumen terhadap produk busana di e-commerce. Produk busana yang diteliti adalah produk Erigo yang dinilai berdasarkan faktor kepuasan konsumen yaitu kualitas produk, kualitas pelayanan, emosinonal, harga, dan kemudahan di e-commerce dan memberikan informasi terkait faktor apa yang paling tinggi/memuaskan terhadap tingkat kepuasan konsumen di e-commerce terhadap produk Erigo. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan menggunakan metode survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen Erigo yang berusia 18-34 tahun dan pernah membeli produk Erigo di e-commerce. Adapun produk Erigo yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini adalah kaos, jaket, kemeja, dan celana. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah non probability sampling dengam metode isidental sampling berjumlah 100 orang responden. Uji validitas dan reabilitas dengan cara menyebarkan angket kusioner. Uji analisis data menggunakan SPSS dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan tinggginya tingkat kepuasan konsumen terhadap produk Erigo di e-commerce. Dengan presentase 84,03% untuk kualitas produk, 82,61% untuk kualitas pelayanan, 83,43% untuk emosional, 84,00% untuk harga, dan 85,85% untuk kemudahan. Faktor yang paling tinggi dalam kepuasan konsumen di e-commerce terhadap produk Erigo adalah faktor kemudahan, hal itu disebabkan karena konsumen merasa kemudahan dalam bertransaksi di e-commerce mudah dipahami dan dapat dilaakukan kapan saja dan dimana saja. The fashion products studied are Erigo products which are assessed based on consumer satisfaction factors, namely product quality, service quality, emotion, price, and convenience in e-commerce and provide information related to what factors are the highest / satisfactory to the level of consumer satisfaction in e-commerce with Erigo products. The design of this study is quantitative research with a descriptive approach and uses survey methods. The population in this study is Erigo consumers aged 18-34 years who have purchased Erigo products in e-commerce. The Erigo products referred to in this study are t-shirts, jackets, shirts, and pants. The sampling technique in this study is non-probability sampling with the isidental sampling method totaling 100 respondents. Test validity and reliability by distributing questionnaires. Test data analysis using SPSS with descriptive analysis method. The results of this study show the high level of consumer satisfaction with Erigo products in e-commerce. With a percentage of 84.03% for product quality, 82.61% for service quality, 83.43% for emotional, 84.00% for price, and 85.85% for convenience. The highest factor in consumer satisfaction in e-commerce with Erigo products is the convenience factor, it is because consumers feel the ease of transacting in e-commerce is easy to understand and can be done anytime and anywhere.     This is an assignment about a business opportunity related to the venture that must be completed by the student. Each student must run each business according to their wants and desires, as well as their interests. For example, we have sold Mentai Rice which is a homemade food product as a filling for this business subject. Our company is named SNA Japanese Mentai Rice. Where we sell a popular type of food from Japan. In addition, each student couple also needs to register their business in several registration systems such as Go-Ecommerce registration, MyENT certificate and SSM registration. This assignment will also discuss some components in the business run by each pair of students such as business name, business address, organization chart, mission, vision, product description and price list of items sold in the business. Furthermore, this assignment will describe how we run this business. Each pair of students will market their business on Facebook. They are also free to register as any position in the business like drop shipper, agent or others. The purpose of using the platform is none other than for the marketing strategy of the business carried out.     EFEKTIVITAS COOPERATIVE GAMES DALAM MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL ANAK TAMAN KANAK-KANAK

    Secara umum rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana efektivitas cooperative games dalam meningkatkan keterampilan sosial anak Taman Kanak-Kanak. Sehingga tujuan penelitiannya secara umum adalah untuk melihat efektivitas cooperative games dalam meningkatkan keterampilan sosial anak Taman Kanak-Kanak. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling sehingga seluruh subjek peneltian yaitu anak kelompok B1 TK Nurul Syifa yang berjumlah 12 anak dijadikan sampel penelitian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menguji efektivitas cooperative games ini adalah metode pre eksperimen dengan desain penelitiannya adalah desain penelitian non equivalent atau disebut juga one group pre-test and post-test desgn, yaitu pengujian dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil nilai pretest dan postest. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah instrumen PKBS (Preschool and Kindergarten Behavior Scale) yang dikembangkan oleh Merrell (1994). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil pretest adalah sebesar 51,83 dan pada hasil post-test rata-ratanya menjadi 82,83, dengan membandingkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa setelah melaksanakan cooperative games didapat perubahan yang signifikan terhadap tingkat keterampilan sosial anak kelompok B1 TK Nurul Syifa, dengan rata-rata peningkatan sebesar 31,00. Penelitiann ini menggunakan rumus uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test untuk uji signifikan dan diperoleh hasil penelitian yang menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan keterampilan sosial anak kelompok B1 TK Nurul Syifa yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah melaksanakan cooperative games. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa cooperative games efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial anak Taman Kanak-Kanak, khususnya pada anak kelompok B1 TK Nurul Syifa kecamatan Cileunyi Kabupaten Bandung tahun pelajaran 2010/2011

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
