So far, the English teacher of SMP Islam Kunir depends on books toteach simple present tense to the students. There is no supporting medium to teachsimple present tense to the students. The absence of medium to teach tenses willgive disadvantages to the teacher. Besides, the 7graders’ comprehension insimple present tense is very low. They have become the reasons for the researcherto develop a supporting medium to teach simple present tense namely Plug andPlay. The stages of Plug and Play are classifying, analyzing, constructing, andcreating. It also activates the students’ combinatorial and exploratory creativity.This study aims at: (1) developing a supporting medium to enhance the 7graders’ comprehension in simple present tense in SMP Islam Kunir.The design of this study was Research and Development design adoptedADDIE approaches (Analyzing, Designing, Developing, Implementing, andEvaluating). The product of this study is Plug and Play which is adopted fromLEGO play and made from thick paper. The subjects of this study are the 7graders offering B SMP Islam Kunir. The data were gained from validationinstruments, exercises during the medium try out, questionnaires, researchchecklist, interview, and field notes.The results of the study are 1) The score of the medium applicability basedon the validation instruments is 93.3; 2) The results of the exercises to constructsentences during the try outs are 100% of the sentences were correct in the firsttry out and 91.9% of the sentences were correct in the second try out; 3) Teacher’sinterview shows that Plug and Play enables the students become active; 4) Therewere 93.4% of the students who agreed that Plug and Play had helped them toenhance their comprehension in simple present tense; and 5) The material ofconstruction of Plug and Play was upgraded from paper into wood.There are three suggestions after the study had been conducted. The firstsuggestion is that teachers should repeat to use Plug and Play in teaching simplepresent tense in order that the students’ retention in simple present tense can bebetter. The second suggestion is that Plug and Play can be used in 2013curriculum since the stages of Plug and Play is similar to the scientific approachesof 2013 curriculum. The last suggestion is that it is expected that Plug and Play can be developed to teach other tenses for further researchers

Get PDFThis study aims to gain an understanding of the external and internal conflicts in the novel's main character and presents the results of research material for learning materials in schools. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method in the form of a structural approach. The data in this study is a literary text which includes external and internal conflict in the novel Macan Kertas. Data collection techniques with techniques of documentary studies by way of reviewing literature becomes a source of research data. Based on data analysis, novel Macan Kertas discusses external conflict is a conflict with the main character Ma'am barrel, the market administrator, officer and head of the Department of Market Management, hired thugs and Lutfi husband. Not only that there is also an internal conflict the main character is feeling sad, angry, disappointed, anxious, upset, regret, fear, happy, surprised, worried and wonder. The result is expected to be a reference for the development of subsequent research that want to study novel by Budi Anggoro with another theory. With the background of the analyzed accident data Maritime Safety
Committee note that the accident caused by human error of ± 80%, the authors
attempt to lift it into a minithesis entitled " The Effect Implementation Of Watch
Keeping With Safety Of CrewOn MT. MATINDOK When Berthing At The Port. ".
Especially with the restrictions on the scope of the location of the problem
that we encountered during the preparation of this paper is expected to give an
idea of the negligence of wachkeeping when ship berthing may endanger the
safety, the role of the elements associated and procedure or procedures department
precautions for the safety of the crew in the port, should be appropriate Standing
Order and the STCW 2010 for the realization of a good watch keeping and the
safety of crew can be kept.
In a theoretical basis, the author describes things related to watch keeping
at the port, due to negligence of watch keeping caused by a lack of awareness and
negligence in performing watch keeping and how prevention and treatment
procedures on board with regard to its human resources. Performance and the
success rate of the crew in carrying out watch keeping at the time the ship
berthing at the port is influenced by several factors. The factors among others are
from the man himself, the influence of equipment that does not support, and the
factors of the work environment. As for the wedge to the third factor is affecting
the level of their productivity in doing all of the work on the boat. In analyzing the
data and research shows exposure writer general description object of research
and the process of handling of the problems arising from the implementation of
the agency in case that is not in accordance with the procedures applicable on the
ship in accordance with the observations and author interviews with stakeholders
in field, and then we compare it with the existing procedures.
Finally, the author can infer the elements in the case of irregularities
implementation services in detail and determine the success of the implementation
of the handling of watch keeping applicable on the ship.

Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the engagement of the Instagram account @mamitoko and @mamitoko_store which influence Brand Awareness, by observing 3 (three) elements in analyzing social media interaction, such as creator-related features, contextual features, and content features. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach by conducting interviews with users. The author used the Miles and Hubberman model and tested the validity of the data using the source transulation technique. The results of this study show that the Instagram account @mamitoko and @mamitoko_store have an admin who manages social media. Based on the author's analysis, the engagement of @mamitoko_store is not optimal. Soft-selling content is more attractive to visitors, besides that visitors are more interested in educative content, detailed information content, and interactive content

(PNPM-MD) is intended to improve the welfare and employment of poor rural
communities to promote independence in decision making and management
development. The problem with rural communities, highly specific and can not be
in the same averaged for all villages. With the fiscal transfers to the village, it is
expected that each village with its citizens the ability to solve their own problems.
Based on the issues presented in this study, the author wants to put more
emphasis on a process of policy implementation, then this kind of research is to
study the program using a level of descriptive research that led to case studies in
detail and pendiskripsian depth portrait of what the condit ions actually happen
according to what field of study with the sampling technique used was purposive
sampling and snowball sampling. This study uses an interactive data analysis
techniques. Tests conducted by the validity of the data triangulation techniqu e.
From the research, the Monggot Village District Sub Geyer PNPM MD
have conducted well and according to operational technical guidance PNPM
MD. But in practice there are still some obstacles that occur. Include difficulties
in communication between the E xecutive Team Activities (TPK), residents and
the district. This is due to brief the socialization phase, so felt less wear and less
deep. In addition unpreparedness in understanding the system implementer
PNPM -MD administration in the stage of reporting the use of funds slightly
inhibit the implementation of this policy.
Recommendations given to the implementation of the PNPM author MD,
for the better in the future is the improvement in terms of socialization, so that the
delivery of programs to the commu nity can be more detail and depth. Training
better to TPK in PNPM MD administration system, and intensive communication
between actors PNPM MD must be maintained and enhanced
