Storytelling can be a very useful tool in the marketing arena, but sadly, it is not utilized appropriately. Most storytelling techniques rely on linear media such as books, film, or television where the user's experience is fully under the control of the author/director. This research clarifies how storytelling for corporate users can be applied to a 'non-linear tool' like a website. It includes guidelines of storytelling design elements for commercial website. In this study involving PutraNet website, the researcher has made a comparative study through similar websites to add facts. Theories have been gained through books, e-books, journals, e-journals, websites and observations. Storytelling covers digital storytelling, web storytelling, web usability and multimedia design. To complete the implementation, some opinions through selected corporate users, PutraNet dealers, web producers, academician and public from online questionnaire were quoted. As Multimedia Storytelling Agent is a new method, the research outcome will give guidelines for web designers who want to apply the same thing. Corporate users will be served with infotainment in getting information. Providers will be facilitated in marketing their products. Academician, Researcher or Developer who want to come up with the same concept will also get additional reference

Complete cinctures present from chaetiger 30–32, with 19–20 acicular spines alternating with same number of companion capillaries; a small dorsal and ventral gap present, notospines projecting toward mid-dorsum, forming a dorsal groove and crossing over, no gap present laterally; spines sharply-pointed with a basal constriction; accompanying capillaries slightly longer than spines (Figs 12 E, 13 C, D). MGSP. Whole body stains light green, branchiae stain darker. Prostomium intensely stained, leaving anterior tip unstained. “Stomach” region and posterior segments stain a darker green than the rest of the body (Fig. 12 D). Pygidium stains intensely (Fig. 12 D). Remarks. This species is closely related to C. brunnea Blake, 2006 due to the presence of an enlarged “stomach” region in anterior segments, but differs in the paler coloration, presence of complete cinctures with overlapping spines ventrally, and distinct MGSP (see also Table 3). Etymology. Named after Mr. Ronald Bailey, father of the author JHB-B who introduced her to marine life and later helped collect polychaetes. Biology/Ecology. Chaetozone ronaldi sp. nov., has been sampled in deep waters (408–481 m) during a study of harbor dredge disposal sites. Distribution. Mamala Bay, south shore of Oahu Island, Hawaii, USA.Published as part of Magalhães, Wagner F. & Bailey-Brock, Julie H., 2013, Bitentaculate Cirratulidae (Annelida: Polychaeta) from the northwestern Pacific Islands with description of nine new species, pp. 80-116 in Zootaxa 3630 (1) on pages 97-98, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.3630.1.3, http://zenodo.org/record/24734

The world of internet in the era of globalization is now developing. Anyone and anywhere can access the internet if you already have adequate tools and connections. There is a 2-way relationship in accessing the web, namely the client and server. good web server performance can affect the quality of a two-way relationship between client and server. There are 2 web servers that are widely used today are nginx and litespeed. as a media content provider it is expected to meet all the needs of users, especially in terms of the performance of the device itself. To prove how the performance of nginx and litespeed servers compares to data requests by users, it is necessary to test and compare the parameters of each web server. Based on the above problems, the author wants to analyze and compare the performance and security systems of both web servers, namely Nginx and Litespeed, so users can choose the best web server. The author only compares the parameters of throughput, connections, requests, replies, error logs, and security systems by setting the load for each test and performed on the attributes that exist in bukalapak.com virtually. After testing, the results obtained where in responding to and connecting data requested by clients from the Litespeed web application server are superior to Nginx. from this result, it is recommended for web server users to use litespeed webweb for better website performance and security

Retinol binding protein 4, obesity, and insulin resistance in adolescents

    No full text
Background Obesity is a global problem. Even in poor and developing countries, obesity has reached alarming levels. In childhood, obesity may lead to insulin resistance. Retinol binding protein (RBP4), secreted primarily by liver and adipose tissues, was recently proposed as a link between obesity and insulin resistance. The role of RBP4 in pediatric obesity and its relationship with insulin resistance have not been well elucidated. Objective To compare RBP4 levels in obese and lean adolescents and to assess for a relationship between RBP4 levels and insulin resistance. Method This cross-sectional study was conducted in three senior high schools in Padang, West Sumatera, Indonesia. Subjects were adolescents aged 14-18 years, who were obese or normal weight (n=56). We measured subjects’ body mass index (BMI) and serum RBP4 concentrations. Insulin resistance was assessed using the homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance (HOMA-IR) index. Results Similar RBP4 levels were found in the obese and normoweight groups (P>0.05). Higher RBP4 levels were found in the insulin resistant compared to the non-insulin resistant group, but the difference was not significant (P > 0.05).Conclusion There is no significant difference in mean RBP4 levels in obese adolescents compared to normoweight adolescents. Nor are mean RBP4 levels significantly different between obese adolescents with and without insulin resistance. </jats:p

Jengkolic acid intoxication is one of the causes of acute kidney injury in children. This case report discusses the diagnosis and management of jenkol intoxication in children. We reported a 12-year-old boy with painful urination accompanied by low back pain and urine was initially whitish-colored sand then turned red-colored urine accompanied by reduced urine volume after consuming jengkol. The patient was diagnosed with acute kidney injury due to jenkolic acid intoxication, urinary tract infection, and bilateral hydronephrosis with initial conditions of oliguria, elevated urea, the impression of an estimated glomerular filtration rate (GFR) was stage failure, and planned emergency hemodialysis. The patient was managed with bicarbonate sodium and other symptomatic therapy. During monitoring of patients with increased urine output, decreased ureum and increased estimated GFR, hemodialysis was not performed. The patient was treated for 6 days and recommended for control at the pediatric clinic
