    The objectives of this research are: (1) To find out what parents' implications are for children's education in Katilombu Village, Sampolawa District, South Buton Regency; (2) To determine the progress of children's continuing education in Katilombu Village, Sampolawa District, South Buton Regency. The research approach used in this research is qualitative research. The data collection techniques used were through observation, interviews and documentation. The data collection procedure involves conducting research directly at the location used as the research target and also collecting data by quoting expert opinions, then when the data is collected the author carries out a qualitative descriptive analysis. Every research activity certainly has a population and sample. The population for this study was 163 people, while the sample was 18 people. The results of the research show that: (1) the implications of parents or the role of parents in Katilombu Village, Sampolawa District, South Buton Regency are generally very good, they guide their children well and motivate their children to remain enthusiastic in pursuing and achieving goals. education up to a higher level. (2) basically the continuation of children's education in Katilombu Village is said to be very good because parents in Katilombu Village always instill motivation in their children to be enthusiastic about achieving education up to higher education

    Lolei Tradition in the Perspective of Islamic Law in Watorumbe Village, Central Mawasangka District, Central Buton Regency. The main discussion is formulated into several research questions, namely: a) how is the implementation of the Lolei tradition, and b) what is the perspective of Islamic law on the implementation of the Lolei tradition and c) how is the Lolei tradition reviewed from the aspects of benefits and harms. This study uses a qualitative method, with data collection using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis by analyzing data reduction and data presentation and drawing conclusions. This study aims to determine the process of implementing the Lolei tradition, and the perspective of Islamic law on the implementation of the Lolei tradition and the Lolei tradition reviewed from the aspects of benefits and harms. The data sources obtained by the author are informants consisting of traditional figures, religious figures and community figures. The results of the study show that the Lolei tradition is in line with Islamic teachings because its implementation is intended to seek protection from Allah SWT. However, in the process of implementing the Lolei tradition there are still parts that conflict with Islamic teachings. Therefore, community leaders, religious leaders, and traditional leaders, as well as the entire community of Watorumbe Village, need to make changes or eliminate parts that conflict with Islamic teachings so that they are in accordance with Islamic law

    Marriage aims to form a happy family and everlasting. Marriage requires careful consideration in order to persevere in the long periods of time in a relationship as husband and wife. Indispensable attitude of tolerance and put yourself on the proper role. One example of such marriages, i.e. marriage down the bed. Marriage down bed (Walian tundra) frequently took place in the area of North Buton to the culture. Therefore, researchers are interested in writing a research on the status and validity of the marriage bed down according to customary law. (studies in North buton). In this study the author uses the method of normative legal research i.e. research approach the problems and legal norms in force. Legal norms that apply to that form of positive written legal norms such as the Constitution, laws, government regulations and so on. Research results show that implementation of the marriage walian tondro (down bunks) based on customary law Kulisusu Sub-district in Waode village of Buri North Kulisusu can occur if the following: a) the already existing agreement of husband and wife when the wife is still alive, that when I died (wife) then you (the husband) must be married with the sister of girs as a substitute for the mother of our children and this should be known to be mutually agreed by both parties in defense. In the sense that there must be a will from the wife. b) after it is accepted then the two sides will carry out walian tondro (mate's bed). C) Covenant of marriage anniversary match existing Covenant of marriage (islam). D) wedding reception. There are several reasons underlying the onset of mating walian tondro (down bed) so that the wife can provide replacements for descendants as the legitimate successor of the family

    Pokok masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana prosesi tradisi pedole-dole pada masyarakat buton dalam kajian studi kebudayaan islam. Jenis penelitian ini tergolong penelitian kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan field research, penulis berusaha untuk mengemukakan mengenai objek yang dibicarakan sesuai kenyataan yang terjadi dimasyarakat. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, diperoleh data menunjukan bahwa pengobatan tradisonal masih dilaksanakan walau sudah dizaman modernisasi, contohnya pedole-dole yang dilaksanakan oleh masyarakat Buton, tradisi ini diyakini mampu mengobati karena secara turun temurun yang melaksanakan pengobatan ini secara berangsur-angsur sembuh dari penyakit yang diderita. Abstract The subject matter on this research is how the procession of the pedole-dole tradition in the Buton community in the study of Islamic cultural studies. This type of research is classfied as qualitative research with data collection methods using field research, the author tries to express the object being discussed according to the reality that occurs in the community. The results of the research conducted by the researcher, the data obtained show thet traditional medicine is still carried out even though it is the age modernization, for example pedole-dole carried out by the Buton community, this tradition is believed to be able to treat because for generations who cary out this treatment gradually recover from the illness suffered

    This final project research aims to determine the role of the guide at PT. Pelindo 1 Pakning River Branch against ships docking at Tanjung Buton port. Identifying the constraints in PT. Pelindo 1 Pakning River Branch against ships docking at Tanjung Buton port. The method used in this final project is the method of interview, observation and documentation. The implementation of this Final Project was carried out at PT. Pelindo 1 (Persero) Pakning River Branch. Theresults obtained by the author during the research is the role of the guide at PT.Pelindo 1 Pakning River Branch for ships docking at Tanjung Buton port which has not been implemented optimally because there are delays in piloting requests,lack of scout division motors, and poor communication. The suggestion of thisresearcher is that in providing information on the arrival time of the ship, radio operators should provide accurate information so as not to make the guides waittoo long which results in delays in ship departure
