Análise de confiabilidade estrutural via método SORM DG.

Capítulos 3 e 4), via geometria diferencial, para o cálculo das curvaturas principais de uma
superfície genérica, num ponto qualquer (no caso em tela - no ponto de projeto), que tem
como objetivo final a análise de confiabilidade estrutural de segunda ordem para
componentes. A análise de confiabilidade é feita através dos métodos semianalíticos FORM
(First Order Reliability Method ), SORM (Second Order Reliability Method) e SORM DG
(Second Order Reliability Method by Differential Geometry), sendo esse último o novo
método proposto pelo autor, ou seja, aquele que utiliza as curvaturas principais fornecidas
pelos procedimentos matemáticos supramencionados. Além desses métodos, supracitados, o
método Monte Carlo, também efetua essa análise, sendo utilizado apenas para aferição dos
resultados, tendo em vista que conduz à valores confiáveis para a probabilidade de falha. Os
procedimentos matemáticos, relatados acima, forneceram os valores exatos para as curvaturas
principais das superfícies estado limite, sendo realizada a análise de confiabilidade estrutural
de componentes de dezesseis superfícies. O método SORM DG obteve, na maioria dos casos,
maior acurácia do que o método SORM , no que tange ao valor da probabilidade de falha.This thesis presents the development of two mathematical procedures (reported in Chapters 3
and 4), by differential geometry, to calculate the main curvatures of a generic surface, at any
point (in this case – at the design point), having as final objective a second order structural
reliability analysis for components. The analysis of reliability is done by the semianalytical
methods FORM (First Order Reliability Method), SORM (Second Order Reliability Method)
and SORM DG (Second Order Reliability Method by Differential Geometry ), the later being
the new method proposed by the author, meaning the one which uses the main curvatures
given by the above mathematical procedures earlier mentioned. Besides these cited methods,
the Monte Carlo method, also takes part in this analysis, being used only to compare the
results, knowing that it drives to trusting values for a failure probability. The mathematical
procedures earlier mentioned provide the exact values for the main curvatures of the limit
state surface, being done the structural reliability analysis of the components from sixteen
surfaces. The method SORM DG obtained, in most of the cases, higher accuracy than the
SORM method in avaliate the failure probability value

No full textO presente trabalho investigou o posicionamento do Partido Socialista dos Trabalhadores Unificado-PSTU perante o governo Lula da Silva e a reforma previdenciÃria e universitÃria, em seu primeiro mandato (2003-2006), enfocando a raiz do conflito teÃrico e polÃtico existente entre o PSTU e o PT, a caracterizaÃÃo que o PSTU faz do governo e das referidas reformas e as formas de luta que este partido utilizou para expressar sua resistÃncia ao governo e Ãs reformas. Para consecuÃÃo de tal objetivo, realizaram-se entrevistas semiestruturadas com dois dirigentes nacionais e um dirigente estadual do PSTU. Procedeu-se, tambÃm, à anÃlise de fontes documentais referentes ao tema, tais como: leis, portarias, decretos, pareceres, medidas provisÃrias-MP, propostas de emenda constitucional, relatÃrios oficiais, o Jornal do PSTU â OpiniÃo Socialista (ediÃÃes de 2003 a 2006) â referentes à reforma previdenciÃria e universitÃria, revistas, livros, cartas programÃticas, declaraÃÃes de encontros e de congressos nacionais do PSTU e PT. Os resultados permitiram concluir que: a) a raiz do conflito teÃrico e polÃtico entre o PSTU e a direÃÃo do PT estava dada desde o inÃcio, pois eram matrizes programÃticas e histÃricas distintas; b) o PSTU caracteriza o governo Lula como um governo de frente popular sui generis; c) oPSTU travou vÃrias disputas, procurando se consolidar como partido no seio da classe trabalhadora, e, no transcorrer das reformas previdenciÃria e universitÃria, caracterizava que o sentido destas nÃo apontava para a ampliaÃÃo dos direitos e de sua universalizaÃÃo, mas estavam enquadradas dentro do que se intitulou de ajustes estruturais; d) a resistÃncia do PSTU ao governo de frente popular sui generis e Ãs reformas foi realizada por meio da aÃÃo direta â marchas; mobilizaÃÃes; atos pÃblicos; volantes no movimento sindical; greves, como a que ocorreu no ano de 2003 contra a reforma da previdÃncia; propaganda; agitaÃÃo, debates e plebiscito etc.This study is an investigation on the positioning of the Unified Socialist Workers Party (PSTU, from the acronym in portuguese) in face of Lula da Silvaâs pension and university reforms, during his first mandate (2003-2006), focusing on the roots of the theoretical and political conflict between the PSTU and Workers Party (PT, from the acronym in portuguese), on the PSTUâs characterization about government and about the mentioned reforms and on the ways to fight this party used to express its resistance to the government reforms. To achieve this goal, the author had taken declarations from two national leaders and from a Cearà PSTU leader, collected by semistructured interviews. There was, also, an analysis of documentary sources on this tesis subject, such as laws, ordinances, decrees, opinions, interim measures (MPs from the acronym in portuguese), constitutional amendment proposals, official reports, the PSTU newspaper - Socialist Review (2003 editions to 2006, the insues concerned to the pension and university reforms), magazines, books, parties programs, declarations from PSTU and PT meetings and national conferences. The results showed that: a) the root of the theoretical and political conflict between the PSTU and PTâs leadership comes from the beginning, the two parties have distinct historical and programmatic matrices, b) PSTU characterizes the Lula government as a popular front government sui generis; c) PSTU caught several disputes, trying to consolidate itself as a party among the working class and, during the pension and university reforms strungle, when the party had expressed the opinion that these reforms did not indicate the rights expansion and universalization, but were framed within the structural adjustment d) PSTU faced the sui generis popular front government and its reforms by means of direct actions - marches, demonstrations, public events, flyers in the trade union movement, strikes (as the one occurred in 2003 against the pension reform), propaganda, agitation, debates and plebiscites, etc

Get PDFThe objectives of the National Student Assistance Policy, as an instrument for the materialization of the social right to social assistance and education, is to provide the necessary resources to mitigate obstacles throughout the university course, allowing students to develop during graduation, reducing the percentage of dropout and enrollment cancellations. The National Student Assistance Program (PNAES) was established by Decree No. 7,234/2010 and, among its objectives, is to minimize the effects of social inequalities. The Decree establishes that the IFES offer actions in different areas, including health. This research focuses on the actions in health care available to undergraduates. With reference to the V Survey of Socioeconomic and Cultural Profile of Undergraduates from Federal Institutions of Higher Education in 2018, developed by the National Forum of Deans of Community and Student Affairs - a survey was carried out on the health care actions developed within the scope of the Federal Universities of the Northeast in 2019. The research methodology is based on the proposal of Laurence Bardin (2011) with an analytical perspective of the content obtained with the interview questionnaires submitted to the Universities investigated through the FalaBR information access site. The results indicated a lack of articulation between the Deans of Extension and Student Assistance and the respective courses in the health area of the IFES analyzed in the offer of health actions, initiatives and projects, as well as few initiatives of well-being actions available. to students and overload of demands for Psychology services. As a proposition, the author recommended a draft resolution for the creation of an internal network of intersectoral health care, instituting a student passport for the purpose of registering demands.NenhumaOs objetivos da Política Nacional de Assistência Estudantil, como instrumento de materialização do direito social à assistência social e educação, é prover recursos necessários para atenuação dos obstáculos ao longo do curso superior, oportunizando que os estudantes se desenvolvam durante a graduação, diminuindo o percentual de abandono e dos trancamentos de matrícula. O Decreto estabelece que as IFES ofereçam ações em diferentes áreas, entre as quais, a saúde. A presente pesquisa se debruça sobre as ações na atenção à saúde disponibilizadas aos graduandos. Tendo como referência a V Pesquisa de Perfil Socioeconômico e Cultural dos (as) Graduandos (as) das Instituições Federais de Ensino Superior do ano de 2018, desenvolvida pelo Fórum Nacional de Pró-reitores de Assuntos Comunitários e Estudantis - foi realizado um levantamento acerca das ações de atenção à saúde desenvolvidas no âmbito das Universidades Federais do Nordeste no ano de 2019. A metodologia da pesquisa é fundamentada na proposta de Laurence Bardin (2011) com perspectiva analítica do conteúdo obtido com os questionários de entrevista submetidos às Universidades investigadas por meio do sítio de acesso à informação FalaBR. Os resultados indicaram ausência de articulação entre as Pró-Reitorias de Extensão e da Assistência Estudantil e os respectivos cursos da área de saúde das IFES analisadas na oferta de ações, iniciativas e projetos de saúde, como também poucas iniciativas de ações de bem-estar disponibilizadas aos estudantes e sobrecarga de demandas para serviços de Psicologia. Como proposição, o autor recomendou uma minuta de resolução para criação de uma rede interna de atenção à saúde intersetorial, instituindo um passaporte estudantil para fins de registro das demandas
Masculinidades: A universal, a relacional e a plural
Get PDFThis work aims to classify, based on the analytical organizational model of gender studies proposed by Berenice Bento, the academic production on masculinities available in BDTD between 2017 and 2022. In order to do so, in addition to presenting the analytical trends developed by the author, we took as guidance the indications provided by Joana Romanowski and Romilda Ens on how to elaborate works classified as State of Knowledge. Based on the reading of the 23 selected texts, we concluded that the majority of the works fall into the relational category. We also noticed the existence of a shift in the dominant paradigm in these studies. We understand that this change is due to a demand for less essentialist readings of masculinity.Este trabalho objetiva classificar, com base no modelo de organização analítica dos estudos de gênero proposto por Berenice Bento, a produção acadêmica a respeito de masculinidades disponível no BDTD entre 2017 e 2022. Para tanto, além de apresentar as tendências analíticas elaboradas pela autora, tomamos como parâmetro as indicações de Joana Romanowski e Romilda Ens sobre como elaborar trabalhos classificados como Estado do Conhecimento. A partir da leitura dos 23 textos selecionados concluímos que a maioria dos trabalhos se enquadra na categoria relacional. Percebemos também a existência de uma mudança no paradigma dominante nesses estudos. Compreendemos que essa mudança se deve ao fato de haver uma demanda por possibilidades de leitura do masculino menos essencialistas
The virtual image : Brazilian literature in English translation

aim of this thesis is to
examine
how the virtual
image
of Brazil
and
its literature is
constructed
in the Anglo-American world. To this
end, a survey of
Brazilian literary
works
in English translation was
carried out.
Having
gathered this data, it became
possible to establish
correlations
between the historical
moments when such translations
were made, when their number
increased,
and the events occurring at
those times in the international
panorama, as well as to look into the
role of sponsors, publishers and translators in the
selection and
production of such translations.
The data
also allowed a profile of
Brazilian literary
works
in
English translation to be drawn. It became
possible to suggest that
such works
fall into four
main categories:
`authorial
works',
'topical
works',
`ambassadorial
works'
and `consumer-oriented
works'.
In
order
to look
more closely
into how the translation process
has helped to
shape
the
virtual
image
of Brazilian literary
works
in
the Anglo-American world, an analysis of a sample of
translations
of
such works was made. Included in this
sample were
the translations
of works
by Machado de Asis, by Indianist
and
Regionalist
wirters,
culminating
in
an examination of translations of
GuimarAes Rosa's
works.
Having looked
at these aspects of
the translation
process, what
remained
to be done
was to investigate
to what extent
Brazilian
literary
works
in English translation
are read
by the English-
speaking public.
To this
end, a survey of availability and
library
readership was undertaken. Finally,
a reading experiment was carried
out
in
which native speakers of
English
were asked to read the short
story
'A terceira
margem
do
rio',
by GuimarAes Rosa.
The
conclusion attempts to pull all these threads together and
to indicate directions for further
research
