No full textMotor dc merupakan salah satu jenis motor yang mudah untuk diaplikasikan
serta memiliki rentang pengaturan kecepatan yang luas sehingga umum digunakan
dalam berbagai bidang industri, robotik, maupun rumah tangga. Salah satu jenis
motor dc adalah motor dc seri. Motor dc seri memiliki karakteristik dengan torsi
awalnya yang besar. Karena hal tersebut, motor ini sering mengalami overshoot
pada saat awal penyalaan. Selain itu, motor ini kurang stabil. Pada torsi yang tinggi
kecepatannya menurun dan sebaliknya. Namun, pada saat tidak terdapat beban
motor ini akan cenderung menghasilkan kecepatan yang sangat tinggi. Untuk
mengatur kecepatan motor secara akurat agar diperoleh hasil akhir yang stabil dan
meminimalisir overshoot perlu digunakan kontroler. Dalam skripsi ini dilakukan
perbandingan simulasi dengan matlab antara dua kontroler untuk mengatur
kecepatan motor dc seri yaitu PID (Proportional – Integral – Derivative) dan LQR
(Linear Quadratic Regulator). Kecepatan motor diatur dengan lima variasi
kecepatan. Hasil akhir yang diperoleh dengan kedua kontroler menunjukkan error
yang sangat kecil. Pada kontroler PID memberikan waktu respon kecepatan rotor
yang lebih singkat dibanding LQR, akan tetapi pada PID masih terdapat overshoot
yang cukup besar sekitar 20% sedangkan pada LQR overshoot dapat dihilangkan
seluruhnya. Demikian juga arus starting dengan menggunakan kontroler PID jauh
lebih besar dibandingkan dengan menggunakan kontroler LQR di mana overshoot
arus starting dengan menggunakan PID sekitar 460% sedangkan dengan
menggunakan LQR hanya sekitar 188%.Skripsi Sarjan

Get PDFThis study discusses the design of a wheelchair prototype to help the flexibility of sufferers. The design of the prototype was carried out with a 7-step nigel cross. The process begins with the classification of design objectives and establishing the design function. Then determine the characteristics to relate the wishes of the sufferer with the technical characteristics offered. Then alternative generation which provides 3 alternatives to flexy wheelchair design. Furthermore, evaluate alternatives, namely choosing one of the best alternatives. After weighting, the best alternative 1 is obtained. Alternative 1 has specifications, namely using aluminum material, dimensions of 1000mm (L), 620mm (W) and 910mm (H), transport wheelchair design, foldable wheelchair, semi-manual manufacturing method, wheelchair weight 12 kg and material strength 80 Kg. The results of testing the prototype using a roll machine and static load showed that the flexy wheelchair was able to withstand a load of 80 Kg and the components of the wheelchair were in good condition.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Studi Kasus terhadap Konflik Keluarga Batak Toba di Desa Dolok Merawan dari Perspektif Konseling Masyarakat
Get PDFThis study aims to examine family conflicts in the Batak Toba community from the perspective of community counseling. This research is based on the fact that there are many family conflicts occur in the household, especially in the Batak Toba community in the village of Dolok Merawan. This study uses a qualitative method with the approach of case study, which is described in this study as a family experiencing conflict. Case study approach as a problem solving procedure investigated by describing the state of the object of research. One of the data collecting techniques in this research is conducted through interviews, which is an activity carried out to obtain information directly by expressing open questions to respondents. The results of this study reveal that cultural traditions have functions and values as assistance to the conflicted communities in the village of Dolok Merawan by implementing these cultural functions and values.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konflik keluarga dalam masyarakat Batak Toba dari perspektif konseling masyarakat. Penelitian ini didasari oleh fakta banyaknya konflik keluarga yang terjadi didalam rumah tangga khususnya pada masyarakat Batak Toba di desa Dolok Merawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, yang dideskripsikan dalam penelitian ini adalah keluarga yang mengalami konflik. Pendekatan studi kasus sebagai prosedur pemecahan masalah yang diselidiki dengan menggambarkan keadaan objek penelitian. Salah satu teknik pengumpulan data terkait dengan penelitian ini, dilakukan melalui wawancara, yaitu suatu kegiatan dilakukan untuk mendapatkan informasi secara langsung dengan mengungkapkan pertanyaan-pertanyaan terbuka pada responden. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa tradisi budaya memiliki fungsi untuk mengurangi adanya konflik dalam keluarga dan nilai etis untuk pendampingan masyarakat yang berkonflik di desa Dolok Merawan dengan menerapkan fungsi dan nilai-nilai budaya tersebut

Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
