SAUDI-IRAN PEACE AGREEMENT: REGIONAL IMPLICATIONS AND PROSPECTS FOR PAKISTAN
Full text linkThe landmark peace deal between Iran and Saudi Arabia brokered by China has ended years of hostility between the two regional arch-rivals. The peace agreement is expected to ease the regional tension and bring peace and stability. The warming up of relations may also lead to the end of proxy wars in Yemen, Syria and Iraq. China’s emergence as a non-hegemonic and reliable extra-regional actor/guarantor would stabilise the regional security environment. This development directly impacts Pakistan as it has good relations with Iran, Saudi Arabia, and China. The peace agreement holds great prospects for Pakistan through investment, trade, joint production, corridor connectivity and joint consortium. However, while the prospects are bright, there are many challenges to harness these opportunities fully.

Thousands of prominent scholars from India and the Arab world, who have made significant efforts and services in reviving and spreading the Prophetic Sunnah in their countries in this century, were his students. They also made effective scientific contributions by authoring books explaining Hadith texts and defending the Prophetic Sunnah against its deniers. CHINA\u27S PUBLIC DIPLOMACY AND COMMUNICATION STRATEGY IN THE US: LESSONS FOR PAKISTAN
Full text linkRevolution in the means of communication has made a profound impact on the conduct of public diplomacy worldwide. Communication is now seen as an important component public diplomacy to ascertain how governments interact with foreign publics in pursuit of their objectives. Countries fully recognize that new media and technologies are crucial to present their stories to the global audience. As an emerging power, China has been proactively expanding its presence in the global communication landscape. China has pronounced ‘Going Global’ strategy, which is supported by the internationalization of Chinese media and ubiquitous presence at the social media platforms. China’s international communication strategy has been aimed at increasing cultural soft power to influence foreign publics. This paper is an attempt to understand China’s communication strategy in the public diplomacy sphere with particular reference to the US. The major influence behind China’s communication strategy is two fold; first is to dispel negative connotations attached with the rise of China or ‘China Threat’, and secondly, to improve relations with the US through public diplomacy. For Pakistan, public diplomacy and external communication have been a neglected area of research. A comprehensive public diplomacy strategy and effective external communication approach could be instrumental for Pakistan to improve its image among the foreign audience and present a positive image of the country.

The dataset is designed to include extensive variations in pose, age, illumination, ethnicity, and profession, making it one of the most diverse and challenging face recognition datasets available. Preprocessing Using MediaPipe 3D Face MeshOn this dataset, we applied the MediaPipe-based 3D face mesh algorithm to accurately detect faces while removing all background elements, including hair. Our preprocessing strictly retained facial landmarks, ensuring that only the essential facial features were preserved. This approach significantly enhanced the accuracy and generalization of our model, as the model was trained exclusively on landmark-based facial data.
Training and PerformanceThe preprocessed data was utilized to train Xception model, which resulted in remarkably accurate outcomes due to the strictly landmark-based facial representation. The model demonstrated robust performance including explainable-AI, proving that eliminating unnecessary background elements contributed positively to its efficiency and reliability.

It alludes to the social, political, and philosophical aspects of the differences between Western and Urdu criticism on this matter. Intizar Hussain, an important Urdu writer, expressed reservations in this regard, so his concerns are presented alongside a detailed analysis of the views of Roland Barthes, Jacques Derrida, and Michel Foucault. This is done to clarify the author's concept in the words of these Western intellectuals and to elucidate the nature of the concerns raised by Urdu writer
