Perancangan Ulang Identitas Visual Tepung Premix Nilasari
Full text linkNilasari merupakan sebuah brand yang menjual tepung premix atau instant sejak 1971. Pendirinya merupakan seorang senior praktisi boga Indonesia yang sudah berada di bidang ini kurang lebih selama 55 tahun. Produk yang dijual merupakan tepung premix untuk makanan dan kue. Namun, keunikan tepung premix Nilasari adalah brand tersebut memproduksi tepung premix untuk kue tradisional seperti klepon, kue talam, nagasari, dan cucur gula merah. Seiring berjalannya waktu, brand ini stagnan dan mulai kehilangan pelanggannya karena adanya perubahan generasi. Ketika ingin memasuki segmentasi market yang baru, identitas visual yang dimiliki tepung premix Nilasari tidak sesuai dengan target market yang ingin dituju. Identitas visualnya saat ini dianggap tidak mencerminkan kualitas dan value brand-nya sehingga menimbulkan keraguan dan kecurigaan terhadap brand tersebut. Oleh karena itu, untuk memperluas segmentasi baru, perlu dilakukan perancangan ulang identitas visual sesuai dengan metode dari Alina Wheeler dalam bukunya yang berjudul Designing Brand Identity. Latar belakang dalam perancangan ini yaitu Evisay sulit untuk bersaing di pasar yang lebih luas dikarenakan sulitnya mendapatkan kepercayaan dari konsumen. Hal ini membuat pendapatan Evisay tidak stabil. Adapun permasalahan yang dikaji adalah (1) Bagaimana merancang visual branding yang mampu mempresentasikan brand Evisay? (2) Bagaimana merancang penerapan visual branding pada berbagai media untuk menciptakan kepercayaan dari target audiens? Tujuan perancangan ini yaitu membuat visual branding yang mampu mempresentasikan brand Evisay dan menciptakan rasa kepercayaan terhadap Evisay. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Menggunakan visual branding ini bukan hanya menciptakan identitas perusahaan. Namun juga memiliki tujuan jangka panjang, yaitu mampu memperkenalkan produk kepada khalayak dan menciptakan memori yang baik. Kemudian dari sini konsumen dapat menciptakan sebuah kesan atau persepsi terhadap brand. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: rendahnya hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia
pada murid tunagrahita, khususnya kemampuan dalam mengenalan huruf vokal.
Rumusan masalah dalam peneltian ini adalah, Apakah permainan puzzel dapat
meningkatkan kemampuan mengenalan huruf vokal pada murid tunagrahita
sedang. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah, Untuk mengetahui peningkatan
kemampuan mengenal huruf vokal pada murid tunagrahita sedang kelas dasar III
di SLB Negeri Somba Opu dengan menggunakan media permainan puzzel.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan melakukan
observasi dan wawancara. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah murid
tunagrahita sedang kelas dasar III di SLB Negeri Somba Opu yang berjumlah 1
orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah, tes, observasi, dan
wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan mengenal huruf
vokal pada murid tunagrahita sedang kelas dasar III di SLB Negeri Somba Opu
sebelum penggunaan media permainan puzzel berada dalam kategori kurang.
Sedangkan kemampuan mengenal huruf vokal pada murid tunagrahita sedang
kelas dasar III di SLB Negeri Somba Opu setelah penggunaan media permainan
puzzel berada dalam kategori baik sekali. Artinya ada peningkatan kemampuan
mengenal huruf vokal pada murid tunagrahita sedang kelas dasar III di SLB
Negeri Somba Opu Kabupaten Gowa melalui penggunaan media permainan
puzze
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
Full text linkWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. Full text linkBackground : Balance is the ability to maintain the body when placed in various positions. Balance is the ability to maintain the body in a static and dynamic position and use minimal muscle activity (Thomson et al, 2018). Balance is a major factor in the elderly experiencing limitations in carrying out daily activities. In the Big Indonesian Dictionary, activity is defined as activity or activity. It can be concluded that activity is everything that is done or activities that involve physical or non-physical. So it can be concluded that the activity is very play an important role in daily life. Research Objectives: To determine the relationship between balance and activity ability in the elderly at the Nilasari Elderly Posyandu. Research Methods: This research method uses a survey method with an observational research design. The sampling technique in this study used a Quota Sampling. Results: The results of this study used a characteristic test to describe each variable which can be concluded that the male sex has a percentage level (40%) and the female has (60%). Then this study also uses the Shapiro Wilk Normality Test with sample X, namely balance (0.000) and the Y variable, namely physical activity (0.013), which means that the data is not normally distributed. Furthermore, the correlation test between balance and activity has a strong relationship (0.617) and is positive, where if the X variable increases, the Y variable will increase and vice versa. Conclusion: From the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between balance and activity ability for the elderly at the Nilasari Elderly Posyandu
