Financial liberalisation and liquidity constraints in Myanmar and Nepal: Some empirical evidence
One important effect of financial liberalisation is to reduce liquidity constraints. The ability of households to borrow and adjust their financial portfolios has important implications for monetary aggregates and consequently for the conduct of monetary policy. To investigate whether financial liberalisation has reduced liquidity constraints in Myanmar and Nepal, we employ the Euler equation approach. Our estimate of the fraction of liquidity constrained consumers is about 0.7 - 0.8. Further, our result suggests that financial liberalisation has resulted in the reduction of liquidity constraints in Nepal but not in Myanmar
Has financial liberalisation reduced liquidity constraints in Malaysia: some empirical results
One of the important implications of financial liberalization is the reduction of liquidity constraints. The ability of households to borrow and adjust their financial portfolios has important implications for monetary aggregates and consequently, for the conduct of monetary policy. It is to be observed that the relationship between monetary aggregates and current income will be in a weakened state, in financially liberalized economies. The purpose of the present study is to investigate whether, financial liberalization has reduced liquidity constraints in Malaysia. To do this, an Euler equation has been estimated and an attempt has been made to determine whether, the estimates of l has been reduced in the deregulation era. The results suggest that the fraction of liquidity constrained consumers in Malaysia is quite substantial, and has, in fact, increased to more than 50% of the population in the 1980s-1990s. The study concludes that liquidity constraints have not been reduced as a result of financial liberalization in Malaysia. The important policy implication is that, fiscal policies such as, a temporary tax-cut or debt-finance fiscal spending, and the use of monetary aggregates as indicators of monetary policy can be effective in the presence of liquidity constraints

Asset monitoring procedure in Puteri Island Resort / Muhammad Shahid Muzafar
Besides constructing a new building, existing buildings with various uses such as office, restaurant and more, play an important role in the development of a state. Existing buildings are also important to be monitored and maintained, therefore this report will discuss the method used called ‘asset monitoring’. This method is used to ensure all company-owned buildings in good and optimal condition. The objectives of this report are to identify all the procedure of asset monitoring work and problems face in performing this work. The finding from this work is the issue found during performing the monitoring work such as hygiene issues, damage issues and loss issues. In performing this work, there are two methods used to obtain data and information. First, through observation. Observation has been made by visiting the buildings. Second, through interview. In this method, interviewed a person who is experienced in this work, to obtain more detailed information about the procedure. With performing this work, all the company-owned buildings will be maintained and always at an optimal level and can be used in the future without any problems
Fruit punch mixing machine / Muhammad Harris Danial Muzafar
A glass of refreshing fruit punch is the best drink anyone could ask for whenever they are at an event. Normally, fruit punches will be served at events such as birthday parties, weddings, and any festive events. However, to make a big portion of fruit punch is quite a hassle especially if the organizers are in the elderly stages. Therefore, a fruit punch maker is required to ease the burden of the organizers. With the help of a fruit punch maker, the event organizers can make a big amount of fruit punch is a less amount of time and in a more relaxing way. This project requires the right dimension during designing as the size is important for this project to sale. If it is too small, it would defile the purpose of the project which is to make a large amount of fruit punch. On the contrary, if it is too big, the cost will increase, and it won’t be affordable to everyone. The study of other water container is necessary to get the size and function of the machine correct. To use the fruit punch mixer, one should pour in the batch of fruit punch into the machine, then with just the push of a button, the mixer machine will start to mix the batch of fruit punch constantly without requiring any manpower. In conclusion, this fruit punch maker machine will help a lot of future event organizers on making a refreshing batch of fruit punch with ease
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
