Araştırmaya dâhil edilmenin sadece iki kriteri vardı. Birincisi en az 10 yıllık evli olmak. İkincisi ise, iki eşin de evliliklerini mutlu olarak tanımlaması. Bu kişilerin bir kısmına İstanbul Şehir Üniversitesi içinde ilan vererek ulaştık. Diğer bir kısmına ise, araştırmacılar kendi sosyal çevrelerinde “Tanıdığınız mutlu evliler var mı?” sorusu üzerinden ulaştı.Birinci bası
A novel suture technique in the percutaneous repair of Achilles tendon rupture (TANSEL TECHNIQUE)
No full textAim: The aim of this study was to present the clinical results of patients treated with a sliding, wrapping suture technique (Tansel technique) which provides rapid recovery with fewer wound site problems compared to open surgery techniques. Material and Method: A total of 34 patients were included in the study. Following the initial diagnosis made on physical examination, routine dynamic ultrasonography (USG) was applied for the determination of the rupture gap and tendon length. All the patients were evaluated in respect of the time from trauma to surgery, etiological causes, affected side, postoperative AOFAS (The American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Score) and Tegner scores, cruris diameter, mean time to full weight-bearing, time of return to work, time to regain pre-trauma activity level and complications. Results: The mean follow-up period was 27.7 +/- 16.8 months. According to clinical evaluations of the patients at the final follow-up examination, postoperative dorsiflexion angle and plantar flexion angle were determined as 16.3 degrees +/- 4.3 degrees, 39.7 degrees +/- 7.1 degrees respectively. While postoperative Tegner score was determined as 87.6 +/- 9, AOFAS score was found as 91.3 +/- 4.7. Postoperatively at sixth months, in the measurements of the cruris area diameter, 1.5 +/- 0.4 cm atrophy was detected. Of the defined major complications, tendon elongation was seen on USG in 1 (2.9%) patient. No re-rupture occurred in any patient. Discussion: Treatment of acute Achilles tendon ruptures with Tansel technique provides successful results such as resolving the problems of re-rupture and tendon elongation particularly in the postoperative tendon malacia stage. So, this technique was considered as an effective technique which could be used to resolve the disadvantages of minimally invasive percutaneous repair
Correspondence Between Pertev Naili Boratav And Oğuz Tansel / PERTEV NAILI BORATAV-OĞUZ TANSEL MEKTUPLAŞMASI
No full textProf. Dr. Pertev Naili Boratav who studied in various fields of folklore and produced
many works is one of the researchers played an important role in winning the real meaning
of scientific and dignity of folklore studies in Turkey. Oğuz Tansel as Boratav’s student is
both a major poet and a writer as well as a major folklore researcher. As a whole, Pertev
Naili Boratav as teacher is the one of the most contributors to the formation of Oğuz Tansel
name but particularly the emergence and development of Tansel’s folklorist identity. Oğuz
Tansel who had been interested in folk culture thanks to the growing environment since his
early years placed his interests to a scientific ground after meeting with Boratav. With this
meeting, the foundation of a strong and lifelong friendship including family member between
Boratav and Tansel is discarded. So in the forthcoming period, Boratav and Tansel began a
correspondence including the evaluation and discussion on the scientific, artistic, cultural
and personal issues and they corresponded for years extending from the 1950s to the 1990s.
Today, some of these mutual letters are in the private archive of Tansel family and some are
in the Archive of Pertev Naili Boratav in History Foundation. This study aims to introduce
these letters to especially folklore, the scientific and art circles related with Boratav and
Tansel. Therefore, in this study, the letters are dealt with major outline and evaluated in terms
of form and content features

No full textHalk biliminin çeşitli alanlarında incelemeler yapmış ve eserler vermiş olan Prof. Dr. Pertev Naili Boratav, Türkiye de halk bilimi çalışmalarının gerçek anlamda bilimsellik ve saygınlık kazanmasında önemli rol oynamış araştırmacılardan biridir. Boratav ın öğrencisi olan Oğuz Tansel de hem önemli bir şair ve yazar hem de önemli bir halk bilimi araştırmacısıdır. Bir bütün olarak Oğuz Tansel isminin oluşmasında, ancak özellikle de Tansel in halk bilimci kimliğinin ortaya çıkıp gelişmesinde en çok katkısı bulunan kişilerden biri, hocası Pertev Naili Boratav dır. Yetiştiği ortamın da katkısıyla, çocukluk yıllarından itibaren halk kültürüyle yakından ilgilenen Oğuz Tansel, Boratav la tanıştıktan sonra bu ilgisini bilimsel bir zemine oturtur. Bu tanışmayla birlikte Boratav ve Tansel arasında yaşam boyu sürecek ve aile üyelerini de kapsayacak güçlü bir dostluğun da temelleri atılır. Böylece Boratav ve Tansel, ilerleyen dönemlerde bilimsel, sanatsal, kültürel ve kişisel sorunların değerlendirilip tartışıldığı bir mektuplaşma sürecini de başlatır ve 1950 lerden 1990 lara kadar uzanan süreçte yıllarca mektuplaşırlar. Karşılıklı gönderilen bu mektupların bir kısmı bugün Tansel ailesinin özel arşivinde, bir kısmı da Tarih Vakfı nın Pertev Naili Boratav Arşivi nde bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışma, özellikle halk bilimi, Boratav ve Tansel le ilgili araştırmalar yapan bilim ve sanat çevrelerine söz konusu mektupları tanıtmayı amaçlamaktadır. No full textCOVID-19 sırasında okulların aniden kapanması, birçok okulu bileşenlerinin mutluluğu konusunda belirsiz bıraktı. Bu çalışma, uzaktan öğretim gerçekleştirilen ilköğretim okullarında mutlu çevrimiçi okul olgusunu sorgulamaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, mutlu çevrimiçi okulu öğrenci, veli ve öğretmen görüşleri doğrultusunda ortaya koymaktır. Bu nitel araştırma olgu bilim desenindedir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu oluşturan 56 öğrenci, 32 veli ve 17 öğretmen ile yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme yöntemi kullanılarak veriler toplanmıştır. Görüşme soruları ilgili alan yazına dayalı olarak geliştirilmiş ve katılımcılardan derinlemesine bilgi toplamak için kullanılmıştır. Çalışma verileri içerik analizi yöntemiyle çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma bulgularına dayalı olarak, öğrenci, veli ve öğretmen mutluluklarının birleşiminde mutlu çevrimiçi okul açıklanmıştır. Öğrencilere göre mutlu çevrimiçi okul, eğlence, kolaylık, özgürlük ve esnekliktir. Velilere göre mutlu çevrimiçi okul, şeffaflık, sağlık, güvenlik, esneklik ve ekonomikliktir. Öğretmenlere göre mutlu çevrimiçi okul, sağlık, kolaylık, inovasyon ve zamandır. Mutlu çevrimiçi okul öğrenci, veli ve öğretmenler için öznel anlamlandırılmış gibi gözükse de, her bir bileşenin mutluluğu okulun toplam mutluluğuna katkı sunmaktadır

UNESCO Türkiye Milli Komisyonu desteğiyle Açık Diyalog İstanbul da komşu etkinlikler kapsamında “Kültür Mirası ve Komşuluk İlişkileri” konferansını düzenleyerek farklı disiplinlerden dört konuşmacıyı, kendi açılarından konuyu irdelemek üzere davet etti:
Mimar ve koruma uzmanı Prof. Dr. Zeynep Ahunbay, sosyolog Prof. Dr. Ali Akay, akademisyen-sanatçı Murat Germen, şehir ve bölge planlama uzmanı Prof. Dr. Asuman Türkün.
Konferansta komşuluk ilişkileri, ortak miras, kültür, bellek, kolektif hafıza, barış, hoşgörü, kültür mirası, Kosova ve Bosna-Hersek’te etnik toplulukların komşuluk ilişkileri ve savaş sonrası durumu, göç, diyalog kurma gibi pek çok konu tartışıldı.
