Sejarah perkembangan Mazhab Maliki di Andalusia pada masa Hisyam ibn Abdurrahman Ad Dakhil (172-180 H/788-796 M)
Skripsi Sejarah Perkembangan Mazhab Maliki di Andalusia pada Masa Hisyam ibn Abdurrahman Ad Dakhil ini fokus pada produk intelektual keagamaan yang terjadi pada masa Amir Hisyam Ibn Abdurrahman Ad Dakhil yang ditandai dengan diresmikannya mazhab Maliki pada tahun 172-180H/788-796 M. Didalamnya membahas tentang sejarah bagaimana Islam masuk dan menyebar luas hingga mencapai puncak keemasan. Setelah Islam masuk disana Islam terus mengalami perkembangan hingga Amir Hisyam memiliki kebijakan untuk meresmikan mazhab Maliki sebagai mazhab hukum pertama dalam sejarah Islam bahkan sejarah dunia. Penelitian ini disusun dengan menggunakan pendekatan historis yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peristiwa yang terjadi pada masa Amir Hisyam Ibn Abdurrahman Ad Dakhil. Adapun metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah metode historis yang mengacu pada kitab karangan Imam Malik dan buku-buku yang berkaitan dengan tema penulisan ini, yaitu tentang Mazhab Maliki di Andalusia dan didalamnya pula terdapat penjelasan mengenai kepemimpinan Amir Hisyam ibn Abdurrahman Ad Dakhil. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, ternyata mazhab Maliki sangat mudah diterima di wilayah Andalusia (saat ini merupakan daerah Otonomi Spanyol), padahal letak geografisnya berjauhan dengan asal mula mazhab Maliki yaitu di Madinah. Murid Imam Malik, Ziyad dan Yahya al Laits berhasil mengembangkan ilmunya dan didukung oleh penguasa yang cinta terhadap ilmu, hal ini menjadikan mazhab Maliki berhasil menjadi mazhab resmi negara Andalusia pada masa Hisyam ibn Abdurrahman Ad Dakhil
Modeling, Control, and Operation of an M-DAB DC-DC Converter for Interconnection of HVDC Grids
Future high-voltage direct-current (HVDC) networks based on voltage source converters (VSCs) will have different structures (asymmetric monopolar, bipolar, or symmetric monopolar), voltage levels, control, and protection schemes. Therefore, dc-dc converters are needed to interconnect those VSC-HVDC grids and several technical issues on their control and operational systems must be adequately addressed. A dc-dc converter based on a modular-dual active bridge (M-DAB) converter is suggested to reach a desirable interconnection of the HVDC grids and regulate power flow (PF) between them. A dynamic averaged model is proposed for the M-DAB converter and its stability is analyzed using the Lyapunov function. Moreover, a new local controller based on nonlinear control theory is proposed for the M-DAB. The new M-DAB local controller is integrated with the energy management system (EMS), by updating the PF equations, to create a complete control structure. Complementary therapy is a safe ,and reliable treatment for primary dysmenorrhea that its effectiveness has been showen in many studies.Considering the prevalence of primary dysmenorrhea and harmful side effects of some synthetic drugs, thepresent study aims to summarize the effect of complementary medicine on primary dysmenorrhea.Materials and Methods: A search for English and Persian literature published from (000 to (01 wasconducted using key words : dysmenorrhea-primary dysmenorrhea ,complementary therpy andnonpharmachologic tetherapy from databases Pubmed, SID, Scirus and Elsevier .A total number of 30publications were included in the review.Results: Complementary medicine includes the use of dietary supplements, vitamins, aroma therapy, herbaltherapy, homeopathy, acupressure, sport and massage and is safe, affordable, and accessible. Distributed human computation framework for linked data co-reference resolution
Distributed Human Computation (DHC) is a technique used to solve computational problems by incorporating the collaborative effort of a large number of humans. It is also a solution to AI-complete problems such as natural language processing. The Semantic Web with its root in AI is envisioned to be a decentralised world-wide information space for sharing machine-readable data with minimal integration costs. There are many research problems in the Semantic Web that are considered as AI-complete problems. An example is co-reference resolution, which involves determining whether different URIs refer to the same entity. This is considered to be a significant hurdle to overcome in the realisation of large-scale Semantic Web applications. In this paper, we propose a framework for building a DHC system on top of the Linked Data Cloud to solve various computational problems. To demonstrate the concept, we are focusing on handling the co-reference resolution in the Semantic Web when integrating distributed datasets. The traditional way to solve this problem is to design machine-learning algorithms. However, they are often computationally expensive, error-prone and do not scale. We designed a DHC system named iamResearcher, which solves the scientific publication author identity co-reference problem when integrating distributed bibliographic datasets. In our system, we aggregated 6 million bibliographic data from various publication repositories. Users can sign up to the system to audit and align their own publications, thus solving the co-reference problem in a distributed manner. The aggregated results are published to the Linked Data Cloud

Developing and Testing an Innovative Architectural Programming Simulation as a Precursor to Target Value Design
More than half of international construction projects are underperforming. Project success has been correlated with two key factors including managing cost to achieve efficiencies and creating and improving values. Cost overruns remained ubiquitous. Many factors and reasons were identified for construction project cost overruns. Poorly defined scope of work ranked as the one of the highest reasons for poor performance over which owners and construction stakeholders have control. An owner’s requirements and expectations are specified during the programming phase of a project and these define a design’s scope of work.
One main focus of Target Value Design (TVD) is making owners’ value a primary driver of design by improving project definition during programming — thus optimizing the design phase. While recently the number of published research praising TVD has been increasing, there is a lack of information regarding the application of architectural programming of a project to TVD. The purpose of this research is to report on a study aiming to develop and test a lean game designed by the author of this research, to outline the importance of architectural programming and its effects on construction projects. This simulation was tested at Texas A&M University. The author described findings from testing an innovative lean game and administrating to participants a post-game questionnaire. Preliminary results suggest that this lean simulation appears valid for conveying the necessity of including systematic architectural programming at the start of building cost design exercises such as TVD. Ultimately, the simulation can be further improved based on collected feedback from participants
A use-case-driven approach for demonstrating the added value of digitalisation in wind energy
Digitalisation is one of the key drivers for reducing the costs and risks of wind energy. When considering whether to embark on a digitalisation initiative, two key questions arise. The first is what business or operational opportunities might feasibly be addressed and the second is which of the many potential aspects of digitalisation are relevant to those opportunities. In this work, we show how these questions can be answered with a use-case-driven approach, based around a survey aiming to collect and collate the main ”pain points” (or everyday challenges) of people in the wind energy sector. Although the relatively low number of participants of the survey (46) means that the results should only be used indicatively, it is still possible to make some general recommendations for priorities for digitalisation efforts in the wind energy sector. Firstly, digitalisation efforts should focus both on supporting people carrying out cross-lifecycle tasks, in particular sharing data, managing data, undertaking general data analyses and accessing data. Tools to do this should deal with varying data formats and naming conventions, make metadata more accessible, define data and metadata standards, make more data publicly available and improve the quality of data. Secondly, efforts should also focus on supporting people in the wind farm operational phase, in particular with failure detection, fault diagnosis, failure rate modelling and predictive maintenance. Solutions to do this should focus on accessible and validated tools for fault detection, cloud or other data pipeline solutions for SCADA data and tools for exhaustive data documentation. Finally, digitalisation efforts should focus on better communicating and helping people become aware of existing solutions and tools, as well as on helping people to exert a stronger influence on possible solutions

‘The Kite Runner’ is the debut novel written by Afghan American author Khaled Hosseini. This novel is the story of Amir and Hassan, who struggles to find their space in the world because of the after-effects and fallout from a series of traumatic childhood events.The story is told by its lead character Amir who is a Pashtun belongs to the upper social class. Hassan is a Hazara who belongs to a socially backward class. Both Amir and Hassan are inseparable best friends until the day when Amir witnesses Hassan being raped by Aseef. Amir could not do anything to save Hassan and also ignores the incident and hides in silence. Rather, he drives away Hassan from his home with a false accusation to forget his trauma. But it actually intensified his guilt and trauma. Later, political instability in Afghanistan forces Amir and his father to flee to Pakistan and later to the United States. Years later Amir gets a call from his uncle when he becomes aware that Hassan has been killed and that he was Amir’s half-brother. He also learns that Hassan’s son Sohrab is in Taliban’s clutches. Amir takes it as a call for his redemption and sets to Taliban ruled Afghanistan to save Sohrab and bring him back to the United States. This study focuses on the role of guilt leading to psychological trauma, socio-cultural factors effecting the individual\u27s and the collective trauma, and also analysing the recovery process of the traumatised characters. The message of this narrative is that social stratification of individuals or groups makes them an easy victim. A broader understanding of social equality can help in preventing traumatic evils thereby creating a safer society
A 10-b 330nW Third-Order Predictive SAR ADC Dedicated to Neural Recording Brain Implants
This paper reports on a predictive analog-todigital converter (ADC). The proposed ADC employs a linear predictive filter to prepare a prediction for the current sample based on the values of the previous digital codes. This leads to significant reduction in the mean bit cycle of the converter. It is shown in this work that this idea is significantly more effective for the digitization of biological signals (e.g., intra-cortical neural signals). Compared with other similar techniques available in the literature, the proposed predictive ADC is significantly more successful for small signal-to-noise ratios. The proposed algorithm results in 48% and 37% reduction in the converter’s mean bit cycle compared with the conventional and LSB-first structures, respectively. Designed and post-layout simulated in a 90-nm standard CMOS technology and operated at 200 kS/s with a supply voltage of 0.4 V, the 10-bit predictive ADC consumes 330 nW. The circuit occupies a core area of 0.025 mm2, achieves an ENOB of 9.42 bits, a figure-of-merit of 2.4 fJ/conv.-step, and an SFDR of 65.8 dB. PERANCANGAN APLIKASI ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORD (EMR) PADA INSTALASI RAWAT INAP BERBASIS WEB
Pelayanan medik dewasa ini membutuhkan sistem yang lebih efektif dan efisien, baik dalam
penggunaan waktu, tenaga maupun sarana. Dalam pengelolaan rekam medik, kenyataan masih
umumnya penggunaan rekam medik manual yang dinilai tak lagi andal menangani data medik
melahirkan ide konversi rekam medik manual kertas ke rekam medik elektronik karena efektivitas dan
efisiensinya.
Penelitian ini bertujuan menciptakan aplikasi rekam medik elektronik yang lebih dikenal
sebagai EMR (Electronic Medical Record) dari rekam medik kertas di Instalasi Rawat Inap Rumah
Sakit Umum Ananda Salatiga. Rekam medik elektronik dirancang dengan membuat form-form isian
catatan-catatan medik dalam proses perawatan pasien selama dirawat. Data-data medik ini kemudian
disimpan dalam basis data sistem dan dikelola secara digital. Setiap kali pengisian data medik pada
form-form tertentu, sistem akan menghasilkan kode yang membawa informasi khusus.
Pada akhirnya, sistem akan menghasilkan deret kode ICD (International Statistical
Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems) dari kode-kode yang dihasilkan pada
pengisian form-form catatan medik. Deretan kode-kode ini mampu menggambarkan perkembangan
kondisi pasien dan penanganan medik yang diberikan selama perawatan. Data-data medik yang
tersimpan dapat ditampilkan kembali dalam bentuk catatan medik digital.
