    Pandangan Ulama terhadap Dakwah Salafiyah

    Get PDF
Salafi is the generation of the prophet's companions and two generations afterwards. Salafi was born and developed from circle studies. They live naturally, and continue from generation to generation until now. The salafi dakwah is based on two principles: Tashfiyah and Tarbiyah which means purification and education. Salafiyah propaganda invites to aqidah and true worship, invites to study the scriptures of Islamic scholars and calling for tauhid (oneness of God). The focus of the propaganda always on what the Prophet taught, based on the understanding of the companions who in fact are the most knowledgeable about Islam. The emergence of the stern attitude of this salafi da'i is linked on two things: Firstly, this salafi prophecy is consistent and firmly stating between the haq and the wrong. Secondly, the mission of salafi upholds the principle of tashfiyah (Purification). The salafi dakwah is very consistent with the refinement of Islamic teachings. And it is very natural that there are teachings outside of Islam that are mixed in Islam must be rejected

Magnetic activated carbon has been carried out using pecan shell waste (Aleurites moluccana) and the addition of CoCl2 with the composition of 20:80, 40:60, 50:50, 60:40, 80:20 use the co-precipitation method. The breakthrough made in this research is to make magnetic activated carbon electrodes in supercapacitors. The preparation process was carried out by mixing hazelnut shell powder and CoCl2 with acetic acid solvent. Then the homogeneous raw materials were dropped into NaOH 2 M precipitating solution The precipitate was washed using ethanol and aquadest. The resulting precipitate was oven dried for 8 hours at T=80℃, then ground with a mortar cup and calcined at T=100 ℃ for 2 hours. PSA showed the average particle size with a size range of 538.53 - 600.61 nm which is said to be nanoparticles. Increasing the addition of pecan shells has an effect with a larger particle size distribution. XRD results show that the size of the crystal diameter is getting bigger with the addition of pecan shells. SEM-EDX testing shows that the increasing addition of pecan shell waste, the fewer pores that occur in the morphology. EDX shows that the C element is getting bigger with the addition of pecan shells. VSM results show the addition of pecan shells will affect coercivity. The coercivity results are getting bigger with the addition of pecan shells. The CV test shows a capacitance that is not linear with the addition of pecan shells. The amount of capacitance is inversely proportional to the open circuit potential.68 HalamanSkripsi Sarjan

TERRORISM AND THE CRIME OF AGGRESSION UNDER THE ROME STATUTE

Terrorism seems to be accepted as a grave act of international concern, but has not yet been accommodated explicitly in the International Criminal Court (ICC). This article explores the prospect of including terrorism under the crime of aggression in cases transcending boundaries, by examining whether terrorism can fit into its’ elements. While terrorism can be conducted by state and non-state actors, it will be shown that it is possible for states committing terrorism to have their officials prosecuted for the crime of aggression. For the more infamous terrorism by non-state actors, however, do not seem to satisfy the required elements.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    Get PDF
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Variations on the Author

“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    Get PDF
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
